  1. I couldn't decide on what I hate the most, so: "Can you help me with [time-consuming quest]?" - Nothing could persuade me to help you due to trade restrictions. I don't volunteer to waste hours which I don't enjoy. "Can I borrow your [high-end item(usually godsword)]?" - I don't even have the item you want. I'm just high level. "Noob, why are you using [any unusual method of doing something]?" - Because I want to and it works for me. I'm an individual. That okay with you? "NL?" - Why do I get asked this so often? "Where did you get your gadderhammer?" - It's a meat tenderiser. Such an easy mistake. #-o Guess I'll tell you anyway. "What is your level in [(usually combat skill)]?" - Yeah you don't actually care, it's just that you have a high level in that skill and want to feel superior. And even when their main language is English, the spelling is awful. Not that it matters, it'd just be nice if at some point I met one who could spell. It's not the people who ask the question that annoy me though, it's just the frequency of the question and that most are rather silly to ask.
  2. After first listening to them a few days ago, I didn't like them so much. But for some reason I now think they're pretty good, must be an 'acquired taste' sort of thing. Anyway, does it really matter whether or not they are original? I thought people listen to music because they like it, not because it's non-conformist or whatever.
  3. Dizzee Rascal. I seriously can't understand why most of my friends worship him. Also there are those people that aren't very talented, just teenage girls think they are 'cute'. I think we can all name one.
  4. I support this. If they implemented it I wouldn't keep walking on top of higher-level players and letting them get a free hit.
  5. As someone said before, the clues could be a drop from revenants - then they'd be worth hunting. I'd also like to see it as a rare barrows reward, just for something different. I just don't think it'd be interesting enough to limit them to boss drops only. As for rewards, I'm not confident that we'd get trimmed dragon... One could argue that it's already an armour mainly for aesthetics. Hopefully we'll get some useful, more common items rather than just stuff that rich players will wear in order to gain a noob train.
  6. All the updates there seem somewhat pleasing. I'm looking most forward to the treasure trails, been waiting for a long time for a harder set of treasure trails. And finally a high-requirement quest that I won't need to train for.
  7. All I can say is that I hope it doesn't come out as a tradeable item that all the greedy rich players will buy out and stockpile. Would be nice if it will be similar to other defenders, I think we need more decent equipment that requires luck/skill to own rather than just gp. Plus it would make sense to require rune defender to get dragon otherwise the whole cyclops thing would be pointless once most people could obtain dragon. I'm not too sure about it as a dungeoneering reward as none of the other current rewards seem to be 'regular' items made of 'regular' material. But I suppose you could argue that it's possible with batch 2.
  8. Types of Metal or Electronic for various combat-based activities. As long as it's energising or epic, I'm happy.
  9. Ooh very nice, I like the both of them. Thanks
  10. Wealth. He was my friend for a while until I realised he cared only about gaining GP. I also notice that many TIFers have great names. I claimed the name Gull on a noob account; at least it's an NPC(albeit unnoticed). Also got Worshipper as my main - shame I was unable to change main's name on the day of names being freed up. Then you have plenty of good names to look up on adventurer's log thanks to that name-freeing update.
  11. I love metal, but there are so many subgenres that are annoying to distinguish - often causing massive Youtube comment arguments. It is such a large genre though, I've explored metal for almost a decade and yet there are bands that I have no time to check out because I'm busy listening to something else that I like. But yeah, I find that power metal satisfies me most. I find bands like Iced Earth and Firewind quite appealing. Black metal is quite cool, my favourites being Mayhem and Dimmu Borgir. Kamelot are pretty epic. Anyone know of any good bands that are similar in style to Rammstein?
  12. The kind of person who just takes everything seriously and always says stuff like, "Grow up," and thinks they're the moral arbiter of society. Thankfully I don't know many people who are like this, but that kind of attitude annoys me all the same.
  13. When I was about four, I was taken to see my great uncle in hospital. I thought he was already dead and it was heaven :wall: . But it bothers me that someone had convinced my feeble young mind to believe in heaven in the first place, rather than let me make an independent decision on my faith.
  14. Ahh I love BTS, so glad that it's back. Now I know whether or not to look forward to the month's updates. Any surprised disappointment I may have will be reduced significantly. But the court cases sound interesting, I'm guessing they will be similar to the King's Ransom thing. And the quest: "heavily puzzle and story-oriented" and "intermediate". Sounds like something only a non-profit quester would want to do, at least for now. I like how they said some requirements for it; if they keep doing that then it'll be easier to prepare for harder quests - like when WGS came out people with lower stats may have missed out on a lot of money due to dragon platebody pieces falling.
  15. Alan Rickman. His voice is damn sexy.
  16. Gichin Funakoshi - "Do not think you have to win. Think, rather, that you do not have to lose." Oscar Wilde - "Seriousness is the only refuge of the shallow." - I'm not quite sure which way to interpret this but I like it. Oscar Wilde quotations are full of win.
  17. I've had this problem once too; I reported it to Jagex. So I know you speak the truth(but there would be no reason at all to lie about it anyway). I'm guessing more than one J-Mod was working on adding aquanite option and maybe they didn't communicate well with each other? I felt cheated when it happened to me since I didn't buy them as a possible task, but luckily it seems to be rare because there aren't many heard-of cases of this happening. Not like it does a lot of harm anyway. BTW, do Jagex ignore some bug/fault reports, or do they just take a long time to read through all of them and make the fixes?
  18. NO! They always die too soon! :(
  19. Hmm, just a thought. If time goes slower as you speed up, let's say you go so fast that it takes no time at all. Would you go back in time if you moved any faster than that, since it would take negative time? I know it will never be possible to go that fast, just wondering if physics works that way. I can't grasp all the hardcore physics though.
  20. I wish I knew what to do. Cool though. I'd probably play the redblue without the glasses just because it looks crazy.
  21. I've seen 'nine lives', I think it's where the player dies exactly eight times.
  22. I've had to keep it as friends or even off. I keep it off sometimes because although I like my friends I don't wish for them to bother me the whole time I'm on. I don't usually turn my private chat to on, because I've ditched many people that have me added - mainly annoying 'noobs' that want me to waste all of my time helping them just because I did them a favour and they started taking it for granted. I'm not the Lumbridge Sage. I wouldn't say it's arrogant of me to not want to be social, I just think people can easily be pests when they know they can benefit from me. Of course, it's helpful to keep it on when doing offers in RSOF marketplace but otherwise it can be a pain to certain individuals.
  23. When people can't differentiate between 'your' and 'you're'. It has become so common, I've found that usually if 'you're' is in the name of a song then the song name with 'your' instead is a more popular youtube search. Yes I know it's silly to think that it matters but it bothers me that people with English as their first language still get it wrong when I was taught it at the age of five. Maybe the dictionary should just be changed to meet modern standards.
