I find it a refreshing break from the vague and empty words they usually post on the forums. They are enjoying themselves and so are many players in reading these replies. Let it be. No. They let bots go for years without even admitting bots existed and now they finally do something after 2 years and they want to act like they are gods gift to the world. Good for them it took them years to finally fix their broken game, but I won't give them props for it. They let it get so bad that it's going to directly harm them financially, and it's to the point now where RS will never recover and will probably be the death of their game. Part of they reason their seems to be lack of care is due to the various organizations that own most of jagex now. They are more in it for the money than satisfying players, and their goal is to achieve an equilibrium between the two. While yes they did seem to wait a bit too long, it's not really something we can judge. The current "fix" for it may have taken awhile to develop, test and replicate, alongside the normal tasks of releasing weekly content to the game, we're just unsure. However, It's here now, that's what truly matters; better late than never.

Your missing the point, there has never been something instanced of this magnitude, providing a sole server for just this one instanced aspect of the game? That is proving to me at least that Jagex is serious about taking the game that direction.

This discussion is honestly dead for the most part, since the time this was actively discussed, they have updated the death system and also updated the value of DG rewards upon death.

If you plan on buying something just to hold value buy some sort of rare... If you want something that's actually useful and can help you make more money get a nex item. Depending upon what it is, generally a single nex item isn't worth it by itself. For the most part you really only see significant advantages when paired with multiple pieces.

Change the rules on discussions of botting, at the current moment, their are 5 different threads on bots on the general discussion frontpage. Not needed in my opinion, and serves no real purpose other than take up space. There seems to be a continuous flow of them everyday and they are just annoying to see spam the general board. 100% agree.

Yes, I know a guy who runs 200 accounts on virtual systems, solely for the purpose of gold. Why do you think their are rwting sites? Would there not be if it wasn't a viable option for making money? And all you really have to do is activate a bot, and let it run on it's on, barely any interaction is involved.

Then ignore them, leave the thread, and take your post that adds nothing to the discussion with you. If this is what wants to be discussed on general discussion, then who are you to say not to discuss it? What i'm getting on about is why do we need 10 different threads on the first page of gen discussion? If your gonna talk about others botting, just choose one thread.
