  1. Welcome welcome! Good to have a new member :)
  2. At one point in time, I had put together a calculator for all the morphic and volatile tools, but when I was testing values I ran into the problem All_Bogs mentioned above. For some skills, the experience gained is consistent, but for others it isn't. For example, the morphic hammer lasts for 50,750 xp when doing Construction and 64,125 xp when doing Smithing. The fishing, woodcutting, and crafting is very inconsistent and varies greatly across different activities performed (ex. Blue dhide lasts a diff amt of xp to green dhide, etc.). I did extensive research and couldn't quite narrow down accurately enough to warrant publishing a calculator that wasn't completely reliable data-wise.
  3. And a warm welcome from me too. I hope you enjoy your.... "stay" ....here are the forums! :)
  4. Got my 'Like' Neglexis  All the best with it!! I don't need a pin though :D :D :D
  5. CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS to all of you !! Make everyone proud!
  6. Thanks for the suggestion. As Tecmaster mentioned, the calculators and planners are currently being overhauled and will make for easier implementation of these things in the future. While that's being done, I've added the suggestion you mentioned to the Construction calculator and planner.
  7. I'm aware the weekend has begun already, but worst case, you could always just fletch with a normal knife and just save those clay knives for later levels. At least you won't need as many clay knives later on. It'll save you a few games of SC. Otherwise, yea, resort to wcing or fishing if you run out of stuff to do.
  8. It's only a small thing, but buy battlestaves from Naff in Varrock daily. Every little bit counts. And just btw, don't do prayer over the BXPW just in case you or someone was planning on it.
  9. Edit: Tec beat me to it
  10. Hey bi0cide! Welcome the the Tip.it forums! Thanks for pointing this out, we'll get it fixed ASAP! Speedyshel
  11. Hey Intromission! Welcome to the Tip.it forums! Glad to have you here. First off, thanks for the submission. Let me try shed some light on why you get the max you saw. The Turmoil prayer boosts based on the levels of your opponent, so it's quite possible your max was affected by what you were fighting. Turmoil's initial boost is 23% and the 32% in the calculator arises from the base 23% boost plus the 10% of an assumed 99 strength player since this is the highest reasonable / calculable strength level in game. So this might be the reason for the discrepancy. It's not uncommon for an NPC to have a strength "level" of higher than 99, so this would allow for a higher max hit if using Turmoil's latter boost - since you're no longer receiving 23% + (10% of 99). Instead it's 10% of a higher strength level resulting in a larger strength boost for your character. Thanks for submitting this, Intromission! I'll try to add a note about this on the calculator to inform future users of this. And by the way, if you're not quite sure what I've mentioned here or if I didn't explain it clearly enough, PM me and I'll do my best to explain it better.
  12. Thanks so much for submitting this correction. Jorral does indeed return it for free now. I've fixed that and credited you. Thanks a bunch! - Speedyshel
  13. From my view, Wisse was suggesting adding a note about that alternative, I don't think he was saying to change it. I have added the note on the task for gaining favour suggesting if the opportunity to mine a Red Topaz presents itself, it can help complete task M19. I have also gone ahead and credited you, Wisse! Thanks for the suggestion  - Speedyshel
  14. Thanks for the submission! I've added the note about the battlestaff to the weapon slot option. You've been credited accordingly  - Speedyshel
  15. That's awesome WMX! I love it! It's got my vote
  16. I corrected the guide and you've received credit. Thanks! - Speedyshel
  17. I don't think it'd be possible to do this as a pure - unless using recoils as Wisse mentioned. You need to kill the guard, but even if that was not the case, you'd also need level 31 magic to perform the telegrab spell and that in itself would prevent you from being level 3 would it not? Regardless, there are often many ways to complete a task/quest, I think maintaining the most effective and efficient method to use helps keep things simple. This is my own personal opinion, of course.
  18. Upon looking over this guide, this has been added to the guide already, so this topic can be closed. Thanks for mentioning it! - Speedyshel
  19. Thanks for this great, detailed submission. I went ahead and made most of the changes you mentioned and fixed the discrepancies in the guides. One or two of the guides I left as is simply because of the setup of the activity. I credited you accordingly! Thank you very much! - Speedyshel
  20. I've visited Wizard Korvak and he'll sell or repair large and giant pouches, but he'll only replace medium pouches (free of course). He doesn't deal with small pouches in any way. I'll add this quick tip to the guide. Thanks! - Speedyshel
  21. The spell select glitch has been fixed and the Magic focus scroll and Vecna skull have been added to the list of level boosters. The overload potion is essentially the same as the extreme magic boost, so it's been left off. The calculator should now correctly estimate the max damage with strykewyrms. Keep it mind that when estimating your max hit, the in-game splat indicating your max hit might occasionally read a point or two lower than the calc's estimation as the in-game splat can also vary by a few points. So if you see the in-game splat is different by a few points, don't be alarmed.
  22. Articultural, thanks for your submission. I went and did some specific testing on spells and found that with some rounding of spells, it was off by one. So, I've adjusted the rounding and it's now calculating correctly. Thanks for submitting the data to help me test that combo! Betterestcw, as for the strykewyrm task, I believe there's some additional static damage added into the formula when wearing a Fire cape. It's a matter of finding where in the equation this is added. I'll use your data and find this minor tweak. If you get more data you want me to cross check with the calc, submit it by all means :) We appreciate your submissions! I'll leave this open for now. - Speedyshel
  23. We're pleased to inform you that this calculator has been completed and released - Magic Max Hit Calculator. We hope this helps you in your Magic endeavours. - Speedyshel
  24. Congratulations ! ! ! ! ! !
  25. All the best to those applying. Don't be discouraged from applying if you feel you don't know a lot about coding and don't avoid applying simply because you think you're not qualified enough for the position you are interested in. It's worth a shot, chase after the goal! It's a great experience for anyone who's interested in working on crew. I assure you it will cut down on some RS playing time, but the friends you make and the new experience you acquire while on crew make that small loss well worth it. I encourage anyone who feels even mildly interested to apply cause you never know, you might be the next individual working alongside the Tip.it Crew!
