So I get the feeling that you are more taken aback by the thought of having to level this skill by yourself. I've finally decided that fook-a-ji is the worlds most sly troll. I wish there were a way to ignore his posts. He takes what he has learned in his 2,000 posts, and tries to get a rise out of people in the most stealthy of ways(no direct insults). Well actually, he directly insults, just doesn't use flaming words. Ah well. WTB ignore button. If thats the case, you should be banned for protesting according to the Jagex KGB, but thats not the case. Communism would be everybody sharing everything and getting divided in same amount, with the government skimming the rest. Also, if everyone is so into calling Jagex communists and also disagreeing with them, do like all the other unhappy russians did prior to the wall-fall... DEFECT OR DIE TRYING... Do the RS players do this? No, more than 9 out of 10 are perfectly comfortable where they are as long as they can protest. :P Something the real stalin would kill you for, or in Jagex' case, would life-ban you for.

No it will not be a dead skill. Lots of people don't share your way of thining, that is has to be either easy in one way or the other.

At level 96. Of a skill far more costly than construction. Good, finally a skill you can actually use at higher levels. :)

I agree, and good idea with the boot clicking idea. There were many ways that could have been worse, so all in all its satisfactory.

Nobody said they should, lol. Skillers stay out of combat-related stat training normally, and I hope we don't see self-proclaimed skillers complaining about not being able to raise summing, without getting combat levels, that would be ludicrous.

Lots of skills waited 1 yrs and longer, before seeing a person level 99 in the skill. And you are just pulling that number out of nowhere, anyway. Nobody knows how fast summing is later on , since 50% of the monsters u can use with the skill are still not released.

Maybe, and I seriously do not see a reason to make it cheaper, considering the way too high amount of GP generating around Runescape.

Has anyone noticed that the "skilling" monster benefits don't seem so great? I mean, not great enough to be worth the summons? 50% of monsters in summoning are withheld until February. So this thread is based on a virtually 50% released skill, which isn't enough for me to believe the skill is already ruined. Where is that found again? http://www.runescape.com

Because it's not fair to those who make the items OR those who want to buy them. And because they said they wouldn't do this. :wall: But the GE is flexible, and come tommorow, the price will be higher , and the day after, perhaps higher, depending on demand. I can see the sense in putting a set price on the first day. After all, its up to the players to push the price higher and higher, or lower or lower. Jagex has simply set the scene , allowing players like yourself and others to set the price in the future. If you truly are interested in higher pricing for pouches like alot of others, you will sell at highest GE price, pushing the price up the following days. Welcome to the new, revised RS post 10th december '07 :P

for someone who is against merchanting and such...i hardly feel he's after profits... Yet whining about not being able to make profit. Which is perfectly understandable if he doesn't plan on merchanting. Just remember that the GE also grants 100% anonymity.

Ruined because you can't afford 99 summoning? Sorry but I don't see that as ruining a skill for everybody. Besides, no one knows how summoning looks like in 1 month from now, or 2 months from now. Half the monsters in summoning will be released in February, remember? I don't suppose you expected to get 99 in a months period of time? Herblaw is soon 6 year old skill, look how FEW have 99 compared to amount of players.

Don't you think a pouch should be worth more than 2 pots and a jug ? :lol:

Prayer is possible without spending anything at all. Smithing as well. And Smithing 99 with buying the ores and selling the products will not even cost 100M, even if you would use the most expensive way, gold bars. yes and it hasn't always been like that. So maybe give it some time and other oppurtunities will surface of how to level summoning. The skill is not even 24 hours old and you complain already? you've been hanging out with qeltar too much :P

Try getting 99 prayer without burying bones urself, or 99 smithing without mining thats easily 400 mil ur paying, nothing is new here.
