Then how do you suggest that your current exp gets divided between the skills? For instance in your magic example, one could only want evil magic and no good magic. Thats the beauty of the thing, once you reach lvl 99 you can have the choice to choose in between, thats what its called SPECIALISATION, because you are than known as a specialist in a skill, seeing you have lvl 99 , you see. And so what if one only can have evil magic or good magic ? Ain't harder than making a quest to change urself over to good. Og and heres something not put in RS yet, but i know andrew actually contemplated it before ; KARMA .

Guess I'm the only one who's thought about Jagex making the skills branch out into specialisation. Such as this Smithing --> 2 choices: armor specialist, weapon specialist. Mining --> gemstone specialist, ore specialist. combat --> axe, sword, dagger specialising. magic --> evil magic, good magic. We already had dark magic and dark prayer in the game before, but maybe now we can be able to put it to use! Pretty much all skills can be branched out and worked on. So why make a new skill ?? Branching out on the old skills will also add many new quests, items and more levels to gain .

magic is way easier on rs1 :pray: they halved the exp gained per spell on rs2 :roll:

Mrs Pk had 99 Str at 60 odd combat \ Bettr Than U was around before Runite was available. If better_than_u was around before runite was available, he damned well was a never heard of newbie than, no offence. How come his name has never shown up on old forums as well , i also wonder? i mean this can't even be argued, he wasn't the first pure, simple as that. and i'm sure he himself knows that. the amount of real pures who knew what they were doing before rune was launched can be counted on 2 hands. now about mrs pk, are you willing to say that she got 99 str without 40 def and att? cuz she'd be over level 70 with at least 87 hits at 99 str, 87 hits is the MINIMUM hits level u'd have at 99 str. how come this even is at question, when theres been posts about this years ago, that x shadow x was the first to 99 str as a "new pure". i'm not even counting in the fact that D E A D L Y was around 92 hits (and 99 str) way b4 x shadow x got 99 str and before mrs_pk was in the runescape scene, D E A D L Y is a pure plate, and you can go check his stats right now on hiscores, you'll se he doesnt even have prayer levels. sorry but the only reason im really writing here is because i hate to see the wrong names up there, mrs pk and bettr_than_u shouldnt be remembered incorrectly because of bad information. But d e a d l y has lvl 3 magic even so, x shadow x came before that mrs_pk dude .. p.s. hate you much more now :x

Bettr_than_u (even the name sounds 2nd generation pure) the first ever pure? Never heard of him. Was he even a pure plate on rsc? there are tons of pures i can think of that played from jan-feb to end of 2001. such as: sexy paki, paki4ever, dj aztech, stingerx12, killa priest, and the list goes on. if one can honestly say u haven't heard of those ppl, than you missed the VERY FIRST generation of pure pkers. the ones who actually invented it. Almost all of these players listed can be found on the first 2000 rs players list btw. oh yes and another thing. first pure to get 40 att 99 str 40 def and 87 hits was X Shadow X back when mrs pk was still in the 60's running around at castle lvl 15 wild. and the first every pure clan was a russian one. where the reqs were you HAD to have at least 5 hitpoints over your combat level. that also was in 2001, way before prayer beasts (or monks) were invented. -- not trying to strip anyone of any honor or anything, but the REAL people who deserve the spots here don't even play anymore, and maybe 1 out of every 100 member on these forums would even be able to remember them in the first place, so its easy to get the facts wrong. :wink:

Mod Mark had a LOT of duels with me when I bought my Whip (maul + whip just came out) I was using whip (paid 42M for it) and he used Maul. He cheated and used 17 granite maul specials in under 3 seconds :thumbsup: lol what a hustler :D and to end hohto's story. i started ripping paul up a bit, than he changed to level 72 and made me run out of wild :P so i guess jagex staff has one thing in common, they are bad losers :lol: was minutes after wilderness launch and just having fun testing the new system.

First phat dm ? That is ludicrous .. I've fought tons of players with p hats, also wearing p hat, and I know alot of rsc'ers have killed eachother for p hats way before those two players . :wall:

Untrue. It is very easy to predict when you will get a random by doing something over and over again such as killing a monster and then burying a bone youll most likely get a random. Yes, besides RuneScape runs on a pRNG so it's not truly random; which explains why in certain situations you will often get one random event or another more often than others. Well I think there are certain randoms connected to the various skills/locations.

Back in the day I did numerous quests solely by using tip.its guides, they cover them extremely well IMO!

3 Hit U likes to believe that he was the first in a lot of things, says he was first 20 Defense Pure, first 30 Defense Pure, and first Rune Pure. EDIT: Oh and TotalyNectar was first maxed 30 Defense Pure. I don't know about 1(Because I'm not sure if it was Krazyfaken) or 20, although I do know of a few. I'll ask around. By maxed we mean range mage att and str, if it was just attack and strength then volcanic fox was first by years. 3 hit u says he was first to max as those things and he was, no one had 99 att str range and mage at those def lvls before him. Again though if it was just att and str a few people were 99 99 40 in classic. I'm sorry are we talkign RS2 rune pure now? 99 mage automatically makes you impure so 99 mage rune pure is an oxymoron...heck even 5 mage makes you impure. So, RS2-style pure is what you mean not "real" pure? sorry but 1 question... how the hell does mage make u impure?? have you not heard of a mage pure?? >_> go back and find out what pure really means before posting please.
