  1. Not sure, but where I tried to mage Metal Dragons it was a complete waste of runes.
  2. Really? A "real friendship"? That's absolutely disgusting. That "friend" is some kid behind a computer which the author has no real association with. How is that a real friendship? And how is reporting said anonymous kid immature? It's not. Taking responsibility for your actions is about as mature as it gets. So yeah, don't regret reporting that person. He cheated, he needs to pay his dues. And why should you care IF he does get banned? He obviously doesn't enjoy the game if he has to cheat to progress. And besides losing an account on a game isn't the end of the world (contrary to the belief of many people who posted on this thread, apparently). Lol well said and I agree. You just owned half the people that posted on this topic. Didn't realize you were talking about a friend you meet in game. Screw it take him off your friends list, and don't worry a bit about it. Would be what I do. If anyone here macros I hope you get caught and eat the banhammer. Have a nice day. I was under the impression that they were friends irl. NVM THEN. Same here until I read it over. Why stress over something so little as reporting someone you really don't even know who deserves the black marks anyway? :wall:

  4. Can't believe there aren't more people on the site right now posting.
  5. Yeah I can't login at all right now.
  6. Not sure what world I was in, but I can't login at the moment either. :ohnoes:
  7. It's the principle he did it.... no that it is just some game. Who knows he could rat him out on anything else... guess his true colors were showing.
  8. I would find something else to train up, until you can whip. What armor you wear? I wore DH, and they hit pretty often on me. Great rune drops though and mith ore drops.
  9. I'm going for 99 as well... Since you have members you will have the luxury of better spots than f2p, and probably less crowded. On f2p I use rimmy yews and use the cabbage tele, not to bad gets me a lot of yews. If I were you I would just cut yews all the way. Good money. BTW yews are 475 market price on the GE.
  10. I think the frequent release of high valued items have hurt the rare market... They will probably rise sometime in the distant future...
  11. Wait until 85+, what weapon are you using? I had problems when i was a bit above 85 whipping.
  12. Only flaw I see in the GE is the restrictions on alcheable items, and the way off prices.
  13. Wouldn't people make money by selling items? Just wait a little longer, and you should get your items. Could also be the holidays.
  14. You couldn't be more right... and if the chat is something serious they try to steer it back to the stupidest crap. It's even better when you get flamed by some know it all jerk off for asking a simple question. I go into the clan chat usually but rarely pay any attention to it.
  15. That wasn't even a fourth of my money  They all sold for market made maybe 100k lol. Had me all worked up.... I'll keep working on it.
  16. I tried str pots. Bought 2k and I can't even sell them at market price....
  17. Yeah that's what I was afraid of merchants not wanting to give out their secrets. Going to try maybe nats or pure ess and see where I can get with it. Got like close to 7mil buying yews at minimum, doubt I'll ever get them though.
  18. I'm tired of woodcutting, I'll try to reword it that way it can fit into general discussion.
  19. Alright I need some merchanting tips. I've got a lot of seed money to invest, a little over 7mil. I'm working to get a Santa Hat or maybe a Green Hally Mask. Anyone have any tips, any would be greatly appreciated. Happy holidays to everyone. :D Just so this thread won't be short lived, everyone can discuss their tips, and predictions on how the market will go. Because I know just about everyone speculates something or another in the TIF.
  20. Did you have members? If so throw in that credit card number, that always gets it back.
  21. Someone posted a screenie of brawler gloves in the graveyard I think. Like mentioned before probably as rare as the gear is.
  22. Yeah that won't spam the graveyard with threads... Your right though it is the rules I don't understand them though. Already seen a thread like this get locked.
  23. The problem is, everyone says that. Nope. I'm a nerd, a geek, a braniac, poindexter, and even a level 4 Sorcerer. And I play RS. But the reason why RS has such a negative stigma even, or should I say especially, in the gaming community is for a variety of reasons. 1. Jagex advertises that this game is for everybody regardless of age. Look at the fascist censor, for example. This leads to people believing that this is a kids game. 2. The amount of grinding contained within. Every MMORPG and almost every RPG has some grinding. But Runescape holds the title for grindiest game of the year for seven years running. 3. The graphics. Oh, I know about the huge update and I admit that Runescape has never looked better. But compared to other modern games? Not so good. And anyone who doesn't play won't know that the graphics have improved. 4. The leveling system. As others have said, the leveling system requires no skill or talent. Just clicking. Click, click, click. 5. Combat. Runescape has one of the worst combat systems I've ever seen. Everything is about preparation and what you bring. Experience and "skill" have minimal jurisdiction. 6. Customer Support, or the lack thereof. Jagex provides us with customer support only slightly better than the IRS and slightly worse than a group of trained chimpanzees. 7. The maturity. Need I go further? And 8., the lack of a free, player governed, market. This may not matter to a lot of people, but to us poindexters, it means a lot. And that is why RS has a negative stereotype. I still don't think its the worst game as far as grinding goes. My friend who plays WoW has 2 characters maxed out, and he complains of them making it too easy nowadays, the only time I ever see him on (I use xfire pretty handy if you play online games like CoD or something) is a couple times a week to raid. Graphics wise I agree but what do you expect playing a Java game? Well, I've never seen or heard of a game that takes as long to max out as Runescape. Not even Disgaea, where the characters could become a level 9999. If you know of any games that do, then show me and I'll gladly withdraw the statement. The graphics, though excellent for Java, are still poor. To the average gamer, it doesn't matter how great the graphics are in comparison to the norm for that software, what matters is how it stacks up compared to other games. Play silkroad, its soley combat/trader based and I know a guy that has played 2 years of it and still hasn't maxed out. The only time efficient way to level up is to power level in a party. Ahh, is that so? I've played Runescape since April of 05. And guess what? My skill total has yet to jump past the 1400s. It all depends on how much you play it and someone playing 24/7 on RS will take longer to level than someone playing 24/7 on any other games. The experience needed to level up increases exponentially while the experience received from the training methods rises linearly. Yes you are probably someone who thinks they are bursting full of knowledge on MMORPG's and have only played 1 mmo......... please don't have me waste my time making another post if you are just going to let the bs spew out of your mouth.
