IMO they should have called that skill trapping, you aren't really hunting. But sailing cmon you can already ride a boat, what are you going to do for xp, sail and die gain 1,000xp? :lol: They'll probably reveal their next skill planned to update sometime, they seem to be pretty good at looking at the players ideas in the forums and incorporating them into the game.

Durial's was obvious too. First week me and my friend found the boxing ring glitch with the servant and I sent in a report about it. We knew you could walk around the house if the servant teleported you out of the boxing,combat ring and own anyone else in the house without being attacked back, but we didn't have a clue you could do that when teleported out of the house. Later on I hear what happened, kind of makes me think how well the glitch and bug reports are looked over.

If this is true it might be the straw that broke the camels back.... noobs begging like crazy now, I've also heard with all the "renting" RWT'ers are back at it, and now duping again? Might be some truth to this, if the guy mentioned the spinning plate and then someone else confirmed it...hmmm. Also just looked in RSOF Reporting academy and there are a few hidden threads, not sure if it is like that usually though.

Its a successfull game that has had a long lifespan. games like Tom Clancys i play for a month then get bored so yeah.. i dont really go back to them sure they have more hype but i come back to rs. I think you misinterpreted what I said. You see, you and I obviously like the game because we play it. But somebody that has no knowledge of it will probably look at it, go "meh" and move on whereas if they see a fancy new game with up-to-date graphics and fast paced gameplay they will go "awesome!". Runescape has always been criticized for bad graphics (not so much anymore) and for grind heavy gameplay. And they are right, the graphics [were] are mediocre and all you do gameplay wise is point and click. Runescape might be fairly successful, but it will always remain in the shadow of more mainstream games made by well know companies. I never saw rs as a big grindfest until you hit high levels where even on members it isn't to bad with the item advantages, now f2p I don't even train combat because its a big waste of time. Anyone ever played Silkroad, not that game is a grindfest even when you are a level 1.

No they couldn't its just low alches, no superheating involved. The explorer ring (3) , has infinite teleports , the "3" means that it's ring number 3 of the achievement diary Thanks for clearing that up, first day I got it, I used it up completely and the "charges" never left, thought it was glitched :lol: . Think they will be putting a limit on the teles soon?

I hate entrana. How is a ring armor -.- Ring of recoil could possibly kill something :lol: The low alching does give mage xp, thanks for the tip. \ And f2p fishing is horrible money its all in wc'ing and mining, but I bet its handy for those who fish for training food. :thumbup:

There is none, yet. A month or two back during the State Of Play news reports Jagex stated they were working on an update to random events. without gold farmers, anyone think they'll remove them? :pray: I think so, I think all the combat randoms will stay so people can't always read the forums and grind without a risk. I've also noticed since HD some have been revamped and some haven't may be a clue there? I'll try to throw my randoms in here if I can remember. Get the box random quite #-o. WOOT! Shot at a pumpkin I'm going to be there :thumbsup: . I doubt I'll get anything with all the npc's yelling. It will be a mad house there with those pumpkins it's going to be a huge drop party price wise. I would suggest rethinking giving all your items away though. I went to FPS (First Person Shooters for anyone who doesn't know) and almost gave my items and account away and here I am a year and a half later playing again. :lol:

Oh c'mon this is just a place we can talk about the ring. It's a rather new item so it will be a good thread to read to inform people on the ring. Now if this was a thread about an old item it should be locked, but it's not. I found it rather useful. Restores run when I'm mining, low alches random drops and after 30 it adds up for a f2p'er, and the teleport is handy. So for no more effort involved in getting one, you should do it yourself if you haven't already. :thumbsup:

Now to decide which one to wear, my pretty self-crafted diamond ring that serves no purpose or the weird noob ring that gives free st00f. Yeah I'll take functionality over looks any day. :thumbsup:

Yes they do (I assume they wouldn't put out an update w/o testing it), and like stated above they probably return to them as they were before.

[/hide] I am strongly against this for two reasons. First one is it is just taking advantage of F2P players and using them for cheap resources. You may laugh but I am serious. Members don't want F2P to get anything unless it directly benefits them. Sad. The second reason is actually more legitimate. If you get rid of pure essence the prices will go down but they will still be VERY HIGH. I don't remember exactly where essence was before the change but it was 70+ (at least) I believe. That was with bots. Prices will probably stabilize at around 90 ea if they made this change. BUT WHAT ABOUT F2P RUNECRAFTERS!!!!! They will start losing gobs of money. F2P RC took a hit with unlimited runes in shop and the GE release. Why should we ruin F2P RC just because members no longer make 1m an hour with a lvl 44 skill??? ok you said coal isn't unlimited. which means that there is a low supply and a high demand... but lets assume the opposite because i'm assuming that's what you were shootin for. both are perfectly applicable examples for each other because coal makes the smithing world go round and if there were to be a price increase in coal then it would make the profit of making a bar of mithrill go down. same exact thing for pure essence. only difference is that for pure essence is that you need a quest in order to mine it and the levels for them are a little different. but really how hard is 30 mining? when has taking advantage of f2p players: 1. ever been an issue, 2. ever been a deciding matter between making an update and not making an update. 3. don't you think f2p players have been given enough updates????????? seriously if i got these updates when i was f2p i'd put off being a member for at least 3-4 months! fist of guthix, team capes (which i thought was a signature of membership), gnome copters, and relocation of wilderness because i strongly don't think it's "gone". i think jagex has payed off their "credit card debt" for f2p players with the trade limit put on every one. why should we ruin f2p rc? what would be ruined about it? the cost for rune ess was 30 EACH before the update. i just checked the price for rune ess and it's 38 EACH!!!! one might argue that the price is regulated now but it wasn't before the ge. well yeah but lets assume that it will be this price because if this update were to be implemented then that's how much the assumption price for essence will be. SO no the f2p rcing won't be hurt at all with the removeale of more than one type of essence. Yeah f2p has been given tons of updates. I remember before I became a member and played enough I felt I should have it; an update to f2p was unheard of. Holidays were the biggest change I saw. But here in the last few months they have been given tons of updates. I was just talking about the feeling of members on f2p getting updates, and quite frankly you proved my point. If it doesn't benefit you, but it will f2p it then it's blasphemy, but if it helps you hell yeah lets do it. As far as rc'ing being profitable in f2p, please explain rune ess is 38 each so I wouldn't see even with multipliers how rc'ing could be a decent moneymaker in f2p.

I doubt Jagex will let that happen. I'm sure they will test this thoroughly. After all you remember what happened after the last major glitch Jagex let through :ohnoes: =D> There is a difference between owning an item and borrowing one... Can anyone see that? Before the trade update, you could loan out any items and do what you want with them. Prices weren't affected by it, were they? Plus, the fact that one can loan out an item probably wouldn't lead people to start dumping their expensive items at the first sign of anything. Unless all of this speculation scares the ---- out of them. Speculating about speculation... A new low for me \ see prob with that is you would only lend to your closest friends with this new update you can ledn to total strangers and you know your gonna get it back Who is actually going to loan out an item to a complete stranger? I think the prices won't be affected tremendously as some may think. It will be short term, like mentioned before it's probably simple supply and demand that is driving the price down.
