I think alot of people are overreacting. I don't really think there will be waves upon waves of kids coming into the server. And to be honest, how many people really pay attention what goes on public chat. On rare occasions to I find someone decent to talk to in public chat and then I might pay attention to it, but besides that I stick to cc and private chat.

Yeah I agree, I think they are going to focus on updating existing content and tweaking the graphics, maybe a few more skills here and there.

Probably not, I can remember when I thought 200k was alot of people playing. Of course that number died down after RWT'ers and the wildy was gone.

Doubt that ever happens if it does rs will fail quickly. If it makes it 4 more years I will be quite impressed tbh. And if it does I think it will go as you have thought it will, weapons will become more powerful, but I think it will happen at a slower rate. I can't see anything topping the GS being released any time soon. Also I think the level cap would have to change by then. They seem to be catering to their higher players a bit more now and like mentioned before more and more are reaching that cap now. Though I don't want to see it upped I'm still not even close to the cap. :lol:

Probably fletching. I started cutting my way to 15k willows to get to 75. Hit my goal and got distracted with a new update, and didn't notice my members running out. So here I am with 15k willows in my bank gathering dust. To be honest I'm thinking about burning them all since fletching isn't the moneymaker it used to be.

If I were you I would buy the logs now. If the update is actually something good I could only thing increased demand would drive the logs up (though mages being so high lvled iono about those for sure), but in the same token there might be a better way to train after this update...

I've got a question. Do santas protect over most items now? Since they are worth so much in the GE or is it the same as before and they don't protect over squat?

Yeah tbh if I had that ability I would take advantage of it and make some serious cash. But how do they do it exactly?

After reading August BTS anyone think fire making will get a decent update? Seems it's just going to be a quest with a high level fire making requirement to FORCE it to be used, but I very well could be wrong.

Yeah it was funny I saw santas were at 10.8 mil before the [bleep]e and decided I'll cut yews and hope they stabilize and I'll earn my first rare. WRONG! A week after they have doubled and are 20mil. Not long after they are dropping nearly 1mil a day. Crazy how the price went I'm not so sure how this became. But I plan to keep cutting and hope they drop back down to what they were. Also something I've seemed to notice about yews they behave the same way. I've watched them climb above 410 per and then the minute they decline they drop quite a bit I think I saw them at 380 once so I think I might try to make some money merchanting them if I can. And get that santa WOOT! :thumbsup:

Yeah tbh the degrade time is crazy. Not worth the time. I do find fog fun for a certain amount of time. I remember I sat at fog for a couple of days and that was all a did (of course couldn't take more than 1 hour of it at a time). But it didn't take long and I had Druid full. As far as f2p with all the low levels i average about 10-16 tokens a game. Think I lost 3 games and my rating is at 700's. Pretty easy mini game if you have the combat advantage, and free mage xp is always good \ :thumbsup: . But like mentioned before as quick as my druid was to degrade a berserker wouldn't be nothing more than something too look good on f2p.

I might have played RSC, don't have many memories of it. But I know I was there when RS2 first started up. And to be honest most of the higher level players I have meet are quit nice just not talkative. (Which I would think account for the majority of the RSC population) Like someone said before don't stereotype 1,000's of people just because of one immature person.

Made my first mil by cutting yews in f2p. Shortly after I was wondering around in world1 deciding how to spend my first mil and some generous player came by and gave me full zammy, which at the time was worth over 3mil (I think) \

That isnt worth an hour mute even in my opinion. :wall: Gotta remember though little kids play this game. Jagex doesn't know who you are, for all they know you could be some sexual predator. But it was just one hour, no big deal. And yeah I've seen other peoples post and such and Jagex customer support blows. -.-
