You may have all heard this problem before, I know a few people who experience the same thing, but it just gets too annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It started not to long after the release of HD Rs. It first started on my Dad's new computer (windows vista) and soon spread to my moms computer (windows vista).(My Dad and Mom live at different houses so its a different internet connection). I thought it was a problem with vista until my computer started doing it (windows xp):P. The only computer that is not affected is my dads Mac OS 10."something". Basically what happens is I will be playing RuneScape and without warning I randomly get logged out. No its not because I am inactive or have played the six hours or whatever it is where Jagex auto logs you. It can happen at anytime doing anything, sometimes every 10 seconds :S. On all 3 computers I am using the most recent version of Java as I have uninstalled and reinstalled it on each of the 3 computers. I have tried playing RuneScape on 3 different browsers, the latest version of.. Firefox, Internet Explorer(including the Rs Client), and Safari. Which I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well. If its a question of can my computers run Runescape? They all surpass the minimum requirements for Rs HD, as they all run it just fine. Now you might think it may be a virus? Well I am pretty sure it is not, as I have up to date anti-virus software and freeware,with which I have done virus scans numerous times. Oh this happens in HD or Regular detail with all, or no features in use. Is it just lag? No, I am using a cable connection at both houses, with a router to connect it to multiple computers. I have reset the internet connection, and router many times, reconfiguring it each time. I have also tried restarting my computer, many times. What works sometimes is unplugging the router, internet connection, and restarting my computer, then putting it all back together. Then they stop for a little while.. Another thing I found that helped sometimes is changing the detail, HD - Low detail (any settings) Or Low detail - HD (any settings). Other then that I am lost on what to do, if you need any other information I will be happy to provide what I can. And again any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks EDIT: Could maybe the firewall have anything to do with it? I wouldn't think it would because I can still run RuneScape. But perhaps allowing the RuneScape ports might help? Or would that do anything for me at all?

Didn't last long tho =/ This is just a random picture I took of myself wearing my Santa Hat and Teal Gloves ;)[/hide] These are about the only pics I could find of the older RS2 days. I don't think I even knew how to take screenies back in my RSC days :(. Oh well, at least there are 3 differences in the number of skills the game had you can compare with.

I would have to say Woodcutting which is unfortunate for me because its my favourite skill. I haven't trained it since I got 15mil xp even at the beggining of the year. Fming would have been since march but had to train it for the f2p achievement diaries. Which I still have to do the two woodcutting ones. -.-

Thats exactly how I think on many levels. Sure I don't have 99 in every skill but I feel like, I have put all this time into the game already, it would seem like a waste to give up or stop now. I know I have some friends that feel the same way. Reaching the next level, or next amount of xp, or whatever your goal happens to be is what keeps you going. I know between this and my friends on Runescape its hard to put down. It just keeps going...

Yes, everyone who was once a member, even if you got members for only 1 month, can qualify for the p2p list (assuming you have a high enough total level at the time).

Sorry, you won't be able to be added to the list at this time. It is based on total level first, it can't be based on individual skills/mini game ranks. For it to be based on something like that you would need to make a new list for each skill/mini game. The list off Runehead can only hold up to 500 members at a time, and in this case its based on total level. Good luck on making the list in the future :). Ok, totals not far off anyway >=) Is there a thread of like Tip.iters top mini gamers? No, not that I know of anyways. However once you get onto the list you will be able to compare yourself with the top 500 p2p Tip.iters, in any of your stats, or mini games. Your pretty close so it shouldn't be too far off ;)

Not taking any screen shots of my nooby Rsc days and.. Not buying a bunch of Santa hats (including trading them in for 200 silver ore at a time, I took cash instead #-o) and Masks when they were nice and cheap -.- (couldn't afford party hats even back then :()

I believe that's called the RuneScape Hiscores. im talkin bout the tip.it hi scores If you have questions about the tip.it high scores they should go in the correct forum.. however to qualify for the tip.it high scores you need a total level of over 1700+ (something like that) which you don't meet the requirement for. Since the Runehead high scores (what these high scores are based off of) only allow up to 500 people, it is based on total level, not individual skills, so you must be in the top 500 total level to be considered. If you wanted it based on skills, you must make an individual list for each skill considered. If this doesn't clear things up feel free to pm me and I'll try to explain it again :P.

I agree, the GE is so much more convenient then looking for items on the forums (not being able to post being a f2p myself) or going to a trade world to spend hours trying to get the item(s) I needed. Yes some items have dropped, but also a lot of items have risen, for instance I know before the GE full Saradomin was selling for 2.1mil or so, its now worth over 4mil. I also think that yes the GE was worth it.

I'm pure f2p I always use them on prayer because it is so expensive.. I mean 1 book towards prayer saves you your level in big bones.. At 70 prayer I save 70 Big bones per book. Which costs a lot as it is for the xp it gives.

Hmm alright i'll keep watch and look through the list when I get a chance and alert you if I notice anything, basically what I have been doing anyways. Thanks for volunteering me :lol:. No gaurntee I can get everyone especially thoose who get members but not getting any members skills.. Would you prefer if I continued to post anyone I may see in the future or pm you with the information?

Hey again, was just looking through the list again and there is 2 more that aren't pure f2p's anymore, or weren't to begin with that are still on the list. And the other one was brought to my attention from my friend Korrupt_Soul. Slightly over 1k total 3-4mil total xp. They are both ranked in Slayer so its easy for you to check ;-). Sorry to bring this to your attention again, but there is another p2p or ex-p2p on the list. I noticed while looking over it someone with 30 Fletching, 50 Slayer, and 38 Construction. Despite having some nice f2p skills the individual has been a member before. I noticed because although they had decent xp it seemed low and unlikely for a f2p with their total level. Thanks for your time.

Yes, the hiscores are based on total level. Since the Runehead highscores can only hold 500 names on the list it only shows people who are ranked on the list (in this case based on overall total level). If you wanted to make a list for highest in any given skill you would have to make a new list for each one and add all the names accordingly. You would need to look at everyones individual stats or look at cooking only for example. So if they did that for every skill thats 24 more lists which would be to much work and take to much time. Although the Runehead highscores aren't as in depth as the ones on Runescape I do support them for the hard work and effort in designing and creating theese lists. :thumbsup: Its a great addition to the community. I hope this explains things, if not feel free to pm me or post again.

I was torn between what to vote for, the icicle sword sounded cool but the Santa suit would match my hat, so it was a tough choice. I'd be happy with whatever won, its just a fun item and event to celebrate the holidays.

I play for a couple reasons.. 1.) Its fun 2.) Addicting 3.) Always setting a new goal to achieve 4.) For the community and people I know on Runescape, friends help so much to get through doing a not so fun skill

I know thats how we tell whos f2p or not now since the account billing method stopped working long ago but it is possible that someone went p2p but didn't raise any p2p stats or xp as it has been argued before, thats impossible to tell. Still I would like to think no one would do that but its possible. Yes the list was made for pure F2P players. :) If you are not a pure F2P then please do not ask to be added on that list. Thanks. Thats good to know, always have to watch out for thoose who think since they are "currently" f2p they can get on the list.
