It honestly depends on the 16 year old. Being in the age group I would honestly say that I wouldn't really want a fair number of those that are driving right now to be driving. At the same time though I know a few that are perfectly fine driving that I would actually allow to drive my own vehicle. Just make it like the UK where getting your license is basically a high school credit and then you could probably eliminate a fair few of those that shouldn't be driving.

I'd imagine a fair number of adults also drive while distracted in similar manners. Just because there is a video featuring teens doing it does not mean that they are most prevalent.

So for pulled over for suspected drunk driving tonight. Thankfully I was just tired as [bleep] but buddy in my car had been drinking so the cop actually had me step out and breathalyzed me. I had a few sips (literally) of Guinness earlier but blew a .00 so all was fine. Then proceeded to get back and throw back a cold shot. God I can't wait to go home tomorrow.

Just went and saw the new Fantastic Four movie. It was pretty meh overall as a movie with decent effects but not enough keblewy kind of things. Something that really threw me off though is that the group are all supposed to be geniuses or close to it and the writers had them tell a Hitler joke about him being from Germany. I guess it is easier for the masses to get the joke but it really annoyed me and threw me off.

On Canadian elections, heard a good story the other day by which during build up training for Afghanistan one of my staff ended up pulling security for Trudeau who was doing a publicity thing. First he pissed off the staff by stomping through the woods while they were attempting to go all sneaky beaky like. Then when they got to the location they were supposed to be Trudeau's gear had an error (Wes gear/miles gear) causing the guy to tackle him into a big pile of cow manure.

Had one like that not long ago. Except it didn't get infected and the cow worked the tube out. So instead of it just being in there the person milking had to put it in the teat each time. The scar tissue built up pretty well.

So yeah, got my first "grown up" paycheck today of a grand. Feels pretty nice. Also just got a new car I'll be picking up in about a weeks time so go on that as well.

Having a fun summer so far. One machine gun down, one to go. Then a weekend off/home and off the the range for a bit over a week. Should be a fun time with lots of rounds to use.
