  1. Was hoping for some kind of minor drops from the regular monsters, as opposed to only the bolts and crossbow (+ keystones) being the main takeaways from the whole dungeon. Level 75 ranged gear a la ganodermic would have been nice to have.
  2. That's how they're intended to look now lol
  3. The map includes the new Wizards' Tower (though not the updated Duel Arena) so it's more recent than 2011.
  4. Not sure if it came with this update, but the official wiki has been updated with a ton of god-related content and lore. http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Gods
  5. Hybrid helm actually was All class. Rip.
  6. Did this from my phone, so if the tag is off, feel free to correct it.
  7. Surely as long as a position has a role and function to fulfill, it is not redundant? It's just that the person is being re-purposed. Self-discipline: Have you seen the state of RGU? That's a prime example of a lack of it.
  8. Animations aren't tied to the actual attacks though, so they wouldn't mess up abilities and soul split flashing etc. The only issue would be purely graphical - swinging an anchor override whilst actually using dual wield claws would cause some attacks to occur without their animations playing, but this is already the case in game for stuff like CLS + EE.
  9. There is no budget to get Priffdinas up, as they want to include the Elf Task set, release it with ME3, and make it a high-level hub which will include training methods for different skills. Work is at least expected to begin on it this year, though.
  10. Mod Chris L was heavily involved in the design for the max/completionist capes, so it's no wonder that he'd be more willing and quick to work on a piece of content much closer to his heart :P
  11. Catch rates on swamp toads?
  12. Spleurgle-pwctch. TNPW post Latin.
  13. Your avatar's comic is great lol
  14. Scared off for sure, great job guys L
  15. I think the EE overstatting has been on MCL's list for a while now.
  16. So how do you actually get your hands on this burnt food in the first place? Skulk around Catherby/Rogues' Den? :P
  17. .... Dwarven ... Engineers?
  18. Re-bumping for usefulness. Nothing else to see here, move along.
  19. Sent out voyage for 80th scroll at 100%. Will be maxed port score in 13 hours. Yay.
  20. I don't think the whining's completely illegitimate, when you have a skill method with almost zero risk and cost that completely wipes out any other training method. Stop whining go pk since your maxed and in hlf. Tada risk restored. This is hardly a whine, but I suppose I will have to concede to your flawless argument there Mr. English major. It's also you're btw. E: Just so that my post isn't as pointless as yours, I'd like to ask: what's the risk involved in doing warbands? From my understanding, you're risking 5 minutes of your time and under 10k in gear in exchange for around 80k XP in a stat, which is similar to: - 50 minutes of Mining - 1M+ GP in adamant platebody losses for Smithing - 1M+ GP in overload costs for Herblore - 1M+ GP in mahogany tables for Construction - Probably 200k or so in fruit seeds for Farming Don't forget the time spent for the longer activities like smithing 256 adamant platebodies. Have you ever failed warbands before (i.e. pked for supplies)? How often do you fail? 1 in 3? 1 in 12? Every time you get the Wand of Treachery? What's the benefit to a pker who tries to kill you? 100k in supplies? What's the risk that he'll get decimated by the other 99 people in the FC, or the others in the spillover chat? What then are the benefits to "skillers" doing warbands? How do the XP rates hold up to other XP D&Ds? Finally, given that the content was balanced with much higher risks anticipated and originally intended to be used every 8 hours, how should the balancing team react now that the risk has been almost completely eliminated (or reduced to the point of meaninglessness) as this D&D has become dominated by Warband FCs?

  22. Good day today. Thanks to Jax for the Fight Pits part, and, of course, Muggi's Fight Caves guide.
