Poor lore, first all the silly cosmetic stuff, the Runespan et. al, and now this Godsword fiasco :D Anyway, Kree'arra:

Did a quick test on an f2p account, didn't import stats/save file. Went from 3 to 55 combat in about 40 minutes training on chickens, then killed some warped cockroaches with melee. There's very little incentive to train on anything higher than the warped cockroaches/chickens, as they're easy fodder for (respectively) melee and magic, and offer 74XP for each kill, whereas something barely more challenging, like the corpse spider, has 3x the amount of HP and offers only about 4XP more. Sadly there doesn't appear to be an equivalent ranged-weak monster at level 2 - chickens actually laugh off attacks from Kayle's chargebow (or maybe also because it's 15 hit bonus instead of 50 like the other two). And just for fun, dual-wielding with Wind Bolt was netting me a theoretical 150k Magic XP/hr on chickens. Lol.

Beta opened to F2P. From a quick run-through, F2P players only get 1 action bar, and like half the abilities :P

Food given to trekkers is shared between all of them (as far as I know), so all your trekkers will have that same stock of food when the trek begins.

I think the wilderness being non-dangerous for close to 3 years has really shown its effects. In the past you'd worry about 4 iteming when you had a co-ordinate clue to do ... and then later somewhere along the way people expected to be able to get their wildy pengs without any fuss at all. I remember the day when Bounty Hunter was released. Some guy had planted over 50 flowers outside the BH crater. That would have been unthinkable by any stretch before then, whereas now ...
