At what point does it become illegal (or at least classified as gambling) under certain laws? I'm not really sure if it's a good idea to feed online gambling desires, either. Whatever they do will hopefully replace dicing or h/c as a "safer" alternative, but replacing one thing with another thing doesn't really tackle the root of the problem.

Teak larders aren't fast because you need cloth for them. Your best bet is either oak larders, which is a staple in construction training, or mahogany tables, a faster but more expensive option. Chances are someone will come around sometime and tell you the breakoff income at which the tables are better.

Rustling grass does that a bit, I once scored a Leavanny from it (no need for all that taming nonsense, yeeeee).

Divine Storm's supposedly the second best spell now (after SOA), and with an Armadyl Battlestaff you basically get free casting on top of 770 hit bonus. Of course emphasis on spell costs are a lot less now, with all your abilities not even requiring runes to use. Level 60 and 70 Range are kind of strange, their bolts for those tiers are ruby (e) and diamond (e), but at tier 80 you get to play with royal bolts, which are incredibly cheap (for now).

Found something fun with the EoC equipment screen: Attacking a corpse spider with my bare fists (unarmed), my hit chance was 91%. Equip a Profound decorative sword and it drops to 90%. Equip a Bronze hatchet and it goes down to 81%. Lol. Also something fun, defending against a mysterious shade (Ranged type) unarmed gave me a 24% defend chance. Equipped a shadow silk hood and it dropped to 23% (????) Equipped promethium platebody only and it became 91%. Platebody and hood became 67%.

The problem is that, unless Jagex decides to loosen its strict tiering stance, royal crossbow is basically going to be a more expensive version of the swift gloves, without an ability.

Jagex have stated that they intend for spellcasting to be cheaper because it was "too expensive" in live, so I doubt they'll change any rune creation rates at this point.

It's got the same stats as swift gloves at the moment (when loaded with royal bolts), when swift gloves regain their special abilities the royal crossbow will become an inferior and more expensive version :P

Actually now that you mention it I do feel the same. I also would love to own some of the new al kharid clothing. Hey I'm sure that some of that stuff might eventually float our way if the community makes a big enough blip on the radar. I don't think Mage was getting at giving us the costumes NPCs wear just because they look good (though it's not a bad idea), she was referring to the fact NPCs that wear items we already have access too get updated but our items don't. Eg Druid Robes no longer match what Druids actually wear. Even then I would hold a similar agreement. I would love to see more detail in our gear. Actually I'm more of like "Why do these guys get gear that our stuff currently does not even come close to matching" :P Like the guards of Varrock, that felt a bit weird when they got updated to their yellow garb.

Bracelets are bugged into giving you MASSIVE HANDS but at the cost of foot surgery :P

Wish that if they updated the NPCs they'd also update our corresponding gear, though. Prime examples being the claws on the Burthorpe soldiers or the Taverley druids' robes - our player kit feels so vastly removed from those of NPCs.
