What's the tactics involved in Duo PP that makes it so much faster than Solo PP? Also, anyone got comparative XP rates on both, out of sheer curiosity?

The DPS of ranged in F2P is probably balanced out accounting for Rune armour as the highest grade, and rune arrows and yew bows probably throw off that equation. The crossbows are definitely too strong to be implemented, for the same said reason. Surge and Wave. Same deal.

That occurs on account creation - they are assigned generic names like #PlayerXXXX to identify them before a display name has been assigned. It's amazing how much you can learn about JaGex by simply having a little bit of laggy internet.

Problem with hybrid gear is that their stats are tied to the respective combat's stats against itself. So Vanguard and Trickster both have the ranged defence of ... Pernix :P Have fun with that.
