I lol'd so hard at lent calling ottawa lively. Ottawa is one of the most boring cities I can possibly think of. I mean it's got some nice places, but it's boring as hell for the most part.

For a date I'd probably go somewhere a bit more special like the Canal in the winter, it's frozen so you can go skating, there's maple taffy stands where they take boiled up maple syrup, pour it on ice and instantly get candy (but I've never been able to do it. :(), get a Beavertail (not a real one, it's long, flat fried bread dough with toppings like Nutella or cinnamon and sugar,) ice sculpture expositions and other fun winter stuff. I love beaver tails. and that canal in the winter, it's awesome, even though I can't skate. That'd be an awesome place to go on a date. Mainly because it's really purdy, and beaver tails are delicious.

@lenin: I remember a few years back I learned about bugs hibernating and all that. From what I remember they just hibernate, through the winter until they can reproduce again, at which point they do.

I completely realized that like, me and my girlfriend having broken up seemed much more complicated than it actually was because I over-analyzed, and thought about it too much. Anyways, I saw her yesterday, and things just sort of fell back into place, and she slept over, and spent all of today over.
