  1. Ingrown toenails and the surgery to remove it. They jam 4 needles half way through your toe (to get to nerves ..), then insert anesthetic (which, although it ends up helping, really hurts because it's hitting a major nerve in the toe). Blecch. It's not that bad if they go slow since you can just take it as it comes but if they go super fast, like my first one, it hurts 5 times worse. I was traumatized from that one  . Then afterwards your toe is supersore for a day, it bleeds badly, and you can't get it wet. I recently broke one of the nails in half after not cutting it for 6ish months and my friend jumped on me, I fell, and bent it  That didn't hurt much at all though.
  2. Why blame acts that occur by clear mentally ill people on an entire species? That's rediculous. I'd bet that less then a tenth of people have killed anyone. Animal species go around and kill each other, including their own 'families' sometimes. It's nothing new. Sorry if I don't seem 'sympathetic', I am, but thousands of people die every hour in the world. Thousands. It really makes it seem tiny to report something like this when people did the same thing in genocides, wars, so on so forth.
  3. Oh EMR you should DEFINATELY not shave your beard\cut your hair for a while. I want to see a lennon on you, dammit! And you can make a blog and everything for it.
  4. Angry or jealous? Or both? Also, if she became "bored" with you, then maybe she isn't the perfect personality for you. Edit (completely irrelevant): Oh no! My avatar is oversized! Both. Just because she told me the times that she'd talk to him, go to his house for a class project, when he'd hover around her, that she didn't like him, and that "she's not going to break up with her boyfriend of 4 months for a guy she barely knows". Yeah.
  5. I have anger problems. It's not that bad though.
  6. If she's just going to get bored with you and then chase after someone else then she isn't going to be worth your time. I guess that's true. She was just the perfect personality for me. Bah seeing her with this dude makes me so angry. ;_;
  7. My 4-month girlfriend broke up with me yesterday. She said that she got bored and that she started taking interest in another person (who, for those who remember, was the same guy which I posted about). ;_; Does anyone know how I should approach trying to date her again? Obviously I won't try for a bit. I still really like her, but she said that I liked her way too much when she barely liked me enough to date me. I'm not too worried about the person that she's interested in, however. He's .. "funny", but they're completely different personalities. I don't see it lasting long if they do date. Thanks.
  8. Man you remind me of an owl. In a good way. ORLY?
  9. http://fallingsandgame.com/sand/NewSand.html too. That has about 8 or so versions of the game. Wow powder game and falling sand game sure haven't been talked about for a while here.

Irish spring is the best kind of soap\body wash. :D
  11. .. which wouldn't be considered a debate at all. Yeah, that's true. The hardest are 1v1's. We had a surprise debate where we just chose sides right then and there, and had no time to prepare, so a person's quick thinking really came in handy.

Was wondering how many people took a debate class\have taken one or are on a debate team? I've been taking it this year and our class is really bad heh. We had our first, thorough debate today (been working on it since the beginning of the year) about whether the Atomic Bombs on Japan were justified. I did a good job (it was a 2v2 debate, and we were against it) and so did my partner. I think we won. Our opponents failed to answer a lot of our arguements, and simply kept stating the same thing over and over again. They felt the need to repeat that they attacked us at Pearl Harbor and so it was justified. Overall it was really fun. I love doing debates that I actually care about. Anyways, share your debate experiences and such.
  13. Probably same here. Been reading a lot into it (especially taking a class in high school learning about political systems), and socialism seems rather good. Not communism, of course, but something similar to what magekillr said. But yeah. A lot of anti-communism sentiments in the United States are ultimately from a fear of the Russians during the coldwar, which likely manifested into the next generation. Some do it as a joke (I do it occasionally, anyone that gets a political joke is a good person in my books), some do it as an insult (how it's an insult is beyond me). People associate communism with dictatorships and Stalin-type governments. But as said and has been said for years, to the point of it being a cliche, is that people are just too greedy for communism to work.
  14. I get those a once or twice a month. My most frequent one is where I'm at some Southern party in an old plantation-style house, and I slip on a balloon and jerk back to real life after I slip. :P I had one of my favorite types of dreams last night, where I had a super-power. I was able to levitate with my mind! I get those every so often, and they're really just wonderful. Unfortunately, the power diminishes quickly and is soon gone and I'm awake. D:
  15. So I've been dating a girl (Danielle) from my school for three months. She used to talk about this one guy in her English class (who I knew) who was oh so hilarious and stuff, but when we three had a class together, he was realllyy flirty. I got over that, he doesn't do it much (at least around me). Danielle told me to say when she's acting flirty because she 'honestly doesn't notice it'. Okay, so I'll do that. Anyways. Now there's a guy who I've known for three years (he went to Danielle's Elementary school for several years, but not the middle school, where I met him) who are partners in Drama. Before, a couple weeks before that, we were just talking about who we thought was attractive, and she says this dude's name. I thought it was wierd because she always talks about how gay he acts but she was saying that he was cute. She begins telling him about how great he is in Drama compared to other people in another class, so I just mention to it her later and she's like "oh nooo, i wasn't flirting, I was just saying how great he is!". So whatever. Then a day or so later I learn that they have to work together at his house, and he's making her go to his church (she's an atheist) if she wishes to be his partner (which she does, because apparently everyone else sucks). It really made me feel uncomfortable, so we talked about it and she thinks she'll be able to get out of going to Church. She also started saying how they have to do a skit where she "strips, straddles him and they make out". Of course, she was joking, and I was saying how upset I'd be if she actually did that, and she said how she just wouldn't tell me, "jokingly". This somehow led to a fight about how I flipped my lid for no reason. She knows how jealous and uncomfortable I get when she starts talking about other guys. Now, this guy is really religious, doesn't believe in premarital sex, etc, but just the fact that they're talking so much (he's teaching her guitar right now over the phone ..), and that she's going to his house whenever just makes me nervous. Especially how she was apparently lying to my former best friend (when those two were dating) about how her and another dude (Craig) were spending the night, and she said that Craig was gay so that they could sleep together. But somehow, she said he raped her or something, which she's really sensative about and doesn't like talking about it. So really, her saying how gay he is just makes me comfortable because I remember how much it hurt my best friend, and .. I don't know. I don't know really, I just wanted to rant. It pisses me off and saddens me because she knows how much it affects me, yet she claims it's nothing. *sigh*
  16. I dreamt I was in an American Bomber attacking Nazi-held Paris during WW2. It was in black and white too. I remember it was really wierd, since we were shooting bullets that exploded like bombs and we blew up a couple bridges. It was a really fun dream though. Anyways, what's everyone else's?
  17. Your opinion in this thread is no longer valid. /da_latios_voice Pirates. Or vikings. Both were equally badass. Ninjas for getting the job done.
  18. What a huge contradiction. Anyway. Yeah. A lot of times what works for me is find a person who's in their group and go up and talk to them and just stand in that group. When you can, just add to the conversation and maybe try and talk directly to her. I dunno.
  19. Sorry, but what's so shocking about that .. ? Most kids I know had several relationships by 12. >___>
  20. I had to take a shovel and destroy the ice and shovel it out of the way so my mum could drive her car up the hill so we wouldn't be snowed for an hour in the rain. Though your pick-axe sounds bad [wagon]. I took a wrench and destroyed some pretty good porch ice though.
  21. My school has already announced tommorows closure XD, Im having a 4 day weekend!! :D Only 4 day weekend? We had a 9 day one.
  22. Good lord I want this game so badly. Bleh but that'd be awkward explaining to my parents how I want some game like this. I hate talking about fantasy\medieval\etc games like this with them.
  23. This. The harder you try to be random, the more you suck at it. Though my friends love it when I stand up at my desk in the middle of math class. My teacher and other students simply don't notice. I timed myself and was able to stand for a minute and a half with her explaining a test and no one said a word. :/
  24. That completely justifies the subject of this article then. Do you ever SEE topics such as 'This is what's wrong with China\Britain\Germany\Japan\so on'? I never said it justified. It just annoys me that America is seen, everywhere you look, as some horribly corrupt country where there's no good.
  25. There's things wrong with EVERY country.
