Ring your crystal chimes in that room with the new coloured lights puzzle and you'll see. ^^ Nothing interesting happens when you do that tbh. :P Im wondering what his next project due hopefully this year is. Hope RuneVillage ask him about it in their Q&A with him. ;)

Seems like there was no hidden reward. In the Q&A for this update, he said he ment the fact that the light puzzle was random for everyone. Still think its odd how there still is an empty "Other" section in the knowledge base spoiler. :-k

I bet Chris (developer of the quest) is laughing about how nobody has found the hidden thing yet. I went through other master quests, and everytime there was only Exp and Quest points as rewards, there was no "Other" between them. [hide=Spoiler for Reward of Quest + Missing Spoiler?] [/hide]

How did you get hit by that? was I the only player who didnt take ANY damage throught the crystal spikes part? I got hit once on purpose because I wanted to see what they did. I did that too, on the last one going back to the entrance. :P

We get more chat with the guards now that we know the city is only a field. This hole looks kinda new... Mourners come out of it. Didnt they just appear and dissappear before at certain locations? Dwarves are mining away. They have old graphic steel pickaxes, so it might take a while. :P I also think they are waiting for particle effects, sky boxes, water reflection and bloom lighting untill they start making the city and the next quest. They added the Training Items to a shop now after they made them discontinued since the Lumbridge Update.

4 years bruno and they didn't start to make it till awhile ago. Furthermore, there's nothing saying they don't have the next step of this quest arc under way and during its conception they realized they needed another quest to smooth over gaps/plotholes/etc. They've been doing that a lot recently considering the age of some of the storylines and how things have evolved as a whole. TBH, it's definitely welcome to a player like me, who has a short term memory at best and a long playing history. Im all for these kind of quests aswell. I especialy liked the elf scribe they added which gave me up to date info on the quests so far.

I smell Grand Tree Graphic Rework. :P I would so go to that event if the cruel sea didnt split the land between where I live and Nottingham. :(

I was thinking that aswell. :lol: And I loved the graphics in that room aswell. That orbiting glow around you after you get the power from the death alter. I would do anything to have that permanently around me. :P

Hm, I thought I talked to everyone but I guess I didn't. Could you tell me who said that?Just finished the quest. Boy am I not good with puzzles! Honestly though, doing this quest without guides like they were intended to be made it more...satisfying I suppose. Still, freaking tease-quests. Really grinds my gears. I do believe he means when the guard is banging his head on the wall during your "chanting" Pfff, I cant bang my head against a wall without it being a referance to tehnoobshow's series? :P

^this^ There is absolutely no reason that you should be able to potentially loot millions for killing a player risking only 76k. Talk about a massive influx of gp into the game and thus inflation. PvP started out as a zero sum game where a person only looted what the other person was wearing and lost. The problem with the old system was that people were using it to RWT so Jagex had to change it. The problem was that they changed it to the current system where you could loot more than what the other person was wearing. The current system is flawed because its so easily to manipulate and too many people are 76k tricking. The best solution to this is making so you can only loot the value that your opponent is carrying. Jagex don't really care about 76kers, because they aren't doing RWT. BAM. No more 76king. BAM. Welcome back RWT. But what if the MAX amount you could get was what the other person was carrying. The minimum would be nothing, but anywhere between what they were carrying and nothing would be a random drop. I could see that happening.

As long as they directly allude to something on TIF I'd say they'd be acceptable. Example: Just because TIF had a thread regarding Update X, doesn't mean that we would be accepting and uploading general videos about Update X.
