  1. Scratch that, I guess nothing appears if you hit zero. Everything makes more sense now lol There's a little icon that pops up, but no letters or numbers it seems. :P Also, for those who like numbers but cba calculating out how much damage x % soak does: [hide]Using a formula Jagex posted on the forum in regards to how the Dungeoneering shields worked, it shows what you would get hit if you had that amount of soak. [/hide]
  2. "It is no longer possible to hide the Dungeoneering banker underneath a marker plant." No more Deamonheim Bot trapping. Who's side are Jagex on anyway. :(
  3. It's possible to still get the mug?
  4. Yet again, how could you factually prove something like this? Would jagex ever admit do it? If so, why? That's my point. I saw posts wanting facts on why Jagex aren't stat-resetting for the pure reason of gaining more money from bots.
  5. I think they should sell stat resets, like in Maplestory. They should be sold for 500k-1m per level you wanted to go down by one, and it would be a huge money drain as well. Uncountable pures would spend that just to have their aesthetic 1 defence back. At least 5-10 mill per level imo. Almost anyone with any interest in pking would do the 1mill thing in a heartbeat. And its so cheap you may as well play as a main until you decide you want to start pking. Watch hackers hack accounts, then use the accounts money to reset the stats. Also, are there any real facts that Jagex are doing this to get more money from bots, or is that speculation as well.
  6. The tower came with either the resource dungeons or the occult floors, can't remember which but it was with one of those. They might be using it for the Christmas event though, who knows.
  7. The only thing im interested in on this topic. What the hell is a hot pocket? I googled it, think its some kind of bread with filling (cheese/ham/etc). OT - Live life the way you want.
  8. I would dislike it purely because there is barely any reason to get 99 as it is.
  9. You should make a kind of smoke-ish text at the top saying "Always Coca Cola" then send it in to them. :P
  10. Then the obvious solution is to reset strength to 1. No its not. Even if i was a maxed zerker pure. I would willingly reset my strength to one just to have 1 defence with b gloves and turmoil. I think they meant Jagex should reset their strength to 1, but not the defence. This would then ruin their plan of having high strength, b gloves and low defence, since the defence would still be what was required for the gloves.
  11. Thought I'd do some thread necromancy and bump this with a little trailer Jagex made for the quest: http://www.runescape.com/title_video_popup.ws
  12. If anything, Jagex only excourage botting by reseting accounts. I would love a 5 constitution account or turmoil/other items that require levels that were gained before the stats were reset. *sigh* oh well.
  13. I remember that game, good times. :P Nice fake. |^_^|
  14. Oh wow, you scared me for a second. I had to quick check to make sure they hadn't stolen mine as well. If they had, I would have RAGED! lol. Only happened to people who were in one of the two servers that crashed when they crashed. Their servers back up data every 15 minutes, so if it crashes, it rolls back to the last restore point. So that might be why it said my account was logged in when I tried entering a world yesterday. I hadn't done anything other then stand around so I didn't lose anything thankfully. :P
  15. Didn't get this quoted for some reason. :P But what you say isn't quite true. It's still perfectly possible to get defenders like before. However, if you want a small damage bonus, some drops noted, an increased chance of a defender drop and an increased chance of spawning a cyclossus, you will need tokens from all the guild activities. Though if you mean "respectable timeframe" as "as little time spent in the cyclops area as possible" then what you said is correct.
  16. You really hated this update, didn't you.

  18. I think it's still 60 and the KB is just wrong again. Anyway, tried for a bit since I'd heard in my clan that they were instanced, but oh well. :/ I'll just get at the weekend/next week sometime. On another note, I'm getting pretty sick of people saying "0mfg botters." Clicking faster than you doesn't necessarily mean someone's botting, it could mean faster connection or just faster reactions. I was standing at the wall and spam clicking at one point since I'd read the tip on RSOF and got a good few kills. (No defender though :() Yeah, everyone around me were apparently botters because no human could click that fast. I thought bots were generaly slower at everything compared to a player that knows what to do. I got in most of my kills by spam-clicking. Got defender at 11 or so kills.
  19. Got a defender and a mask. Nice little distraction update. :P
  20. I would have had YouTube, but I see your point. I would probably still be playing, but I wouldn't know as many people if it weren't for fan sites. I'm not sure if fan sites helped the game, but I think they help the community of the game.
  21. I simple "I wouldn't like this." would have been plenty. No need to cut the OP's head off for asking a question. I like Unknwnwrrior's suggestion of adding an optional instanced version of the city and having an NPC you could talk to if you wanted to enter the fight.
  22. They appear in every area/town. Even though the area has no tasks, it still shows that. But why is Burthorpe/Taverly in Edgeville.
