  1. Well, according to the news post drops from player will be just like monster drops. You get a random item from a drop table. But, there's no doubt that re-release of pk anywhere will revitalize skilling and make it certainly more profitable. Even if you can go back and re-claim your items on death the effect of pking on items is so profound that it will still create massive profits for skillers.
  2. I personally like to firemake in the FoG lobby. there are a good deal of lines there and very little competition. Depending on how many distractions there are you could easily burn 1000-1300 per hour

The problem with FoG match-ups is not that the level difference between opponents is huge, it's typically because some people are as dumb as a rock and don't know strategy from string. Those that know what they're doing (those that use strategy) typically will have mid to high ratings while sometimes being lower levels. I know plenty of people with less than 100 combat who could easily beat people with higher level and optimum gear. The gauge of skill in FoG is not combat, but rather, rating. Level, or rating segregation would not solve anything in FoG, it would make it worse. separate caves based on whether or not you're a trainer would be a novel idea, one that gives experience, one that doesn't. That would alleviate some of mine, and many others dislikes with the minigame.
  4. Yea, the "pker attitude" is quite disgusting. Anyone who can't get through a fight without trash-talking the other person should just dig a pit and go die there. They most certainly don't deserve to be with the rest of society.

I totally agree with this. I'm sick of all the trainers there saying: "don't run I'm only here for mage xp." Seriously, if you want magic experience make some money and alch, don't waste my time. It annoys me even more when I'm called a "prayer noob" just because I use the prayer levels that I payed for when they're too stupid to switch attacks, or "a noob rock hugger" because I can use the terrain to my advantage and don't like standing in the center, doing nothing. I would like to see the experience omitted from FoG, I would also like the match-ups to be based on rating but also make it so you can't get the same person twice in a row.
  6. Fire wave, it hits higher, gives more experience, and is about the same price per cast.
  7. A couple of things that I don't exactly find right. 1) Why would you want to use an ss over a whip? They have the exact same strength bonus, but you can use a defender with a whip, therefore giving yourself 6 more strength bonus. 2) Bandages don't heal run. 3) You didn't mention excalibur or seercull, by not using those 2 you waste your special capabilities as the hunted. 4) I believe that all ice spells hold the same length, 5 seconds. 5) Why use blood spells, they are slower and less accurate than shadow?
  8. Seriously. Always train combat with slayer, unless you are killing green dragons or aviansies to make money or something like that. You will regret your low slayer level and all that extra training you have to do later, and besides, training slayer is a whole lot more fun than camping at one monster because of the variety. Why? Why train combat from slayer if you want fast experience. Slayer isn't the be all, end all of training, slayer is not the god-like skill it is made out to be. Is it the variety? Big deal, you get the same 5 tasks day in and day out. Is it the fact that you can make money from it? Well, using a cannon and only about 8k cannon balls, I've not made any money from slayer. Sure, you get those abbyssal whips and dragon boots, but how practical is that for making money? You could much faster make money and train combat by power-training and runecrafting. One more thing, why should you care about slayer level if the only thing good about it is the total level from it? Is it for the respect of getting the cape? Phaw! Who cares about some stupid cape and why should I respect you for training slower than other people, but getting another skill up that helps you in no way after you've stopped training it? If you train just for the skillcape in a skill, you are, quite frankly, an idiot who doesn't even deserve to have level 2 in that skill. The only reason I would train slayer would be for charms.
  9. ^ :XD: 14k rating now. :twss:
  10. 1) With 2500 poe for the set, at about 120 poe on average per game, that's about 21 games, which is 483 minutes including time in the waiting room. 2) The official world is 104. 3) Wear weight-lowering items, an axe, and an amulet of monkeyspeak. Bring nothing in your inventory. Also, while in game you will be running at all times until you run out of run, to avoid this from happening as fast as it would pray 'rapid restore' your prayer is recharged at the end of the game.
  11. I could understand bandits, but why zombie monkies? viewtopic.php?f=113&t=751956 A guide to zombie monkeys.
  12. I believe that bandits or zombie monkeys are faster now.
  13. No, the fairy ring abyss isn't the only place they are dropped, but I believe you can access the fairy ring abyss without completing the favor for the zamorakian mage. Which means that you need to complete the favor for him before they are dropped.
  14. Sounds good. =P~ Although, I hope that the level difference between people you can attack isn't any more than 5.
  15. 1) P2p bounty is much harder. 2) Seeing as you'll be past the mid-level crater and into the high level, there's no reason not to max out if you wanted to bounty hunt. And those levels would be good in either crater, but seeing that f2p has less higher levels, you might be better off there. 3) You would get a good % of kill in p2p with a godsword and most likely in f2p as well. edit: forgot 3rd question :wall:
  16. In comparison to player's levels, I'd say his defence would be somewhere around 130, his attack at 145, and strength at 150.
  17. Oops, looks like my gnome name are off :-#
  18. If I am correct then green gnome boots are from the gnome stronghold on the second floor to the left. And just as they're named, they're gnome boots, that are green.
  19. I would train defenece just to bug them. But many people still live in their sick pure-dominated wilderness fantasies where no defence is the best, which explains much of the defence hatred...
  20. PoE

DreamReaper replied to TriangleNub's topic in Help and Advice
    I typically get about 120-130.
  21. I believe making tiaras is also a good alternative to earths or fires; although it would cost significantly more.
  22. Full combat=16 Full druidic=16
