All of those "omgggg ya i love thattt" "going for a walkkk :]" -.- And when teachers can't give 100's. For example, my graphic design teacher gave me a 95% on a participation grade. What the hell?!

I believe that homework can either help or hinder depending on the type of homework. For example, in my AP European History class we pretty much have to teach ourselves through homework. We are forced to take notes on every chapter, and they MUST be Cornell notes, and we are graded on the quality of our notes. Not to mention this is weekly and the assignment often takes between 5-10 pages. In class, all she does is clear up any questions we had on the homework then gives us busywork, which we should also complete for homework providing we do not finish it in class. I don't see how she couldn't just teach us like my other classes, since we move pretty slow in that class. Although in my Algebra 2/Trig class things are different. The class covers all of algebra 2 in only three quarters, then triggonometry in one quarter, so it moves much faster than a standard class. Pretty much all class time is spent lecturing and learning new material, and homework helps give us some much-needed review. I can't really complain though, since I only have three classes that assign homework nightly. All the other classes only assign homework once or twice a week.

I've seen an avatar that says "YOU ARE NOW BREATHING MANUALLY" I hate both of you. What is the longest you guys have had to breathe manually? My longest was probably ~5 minutes, I was laying in bed, trying to fall asleep AND trying to switch back to automatic breathing -.-

Holy crap, you must be skinny :shock: My favorites are the turkey, mashed potatoes (only time I get real mashed potatoes, my parents usually make the crappy boxed kind all other days of the year) and this really good corn-soup-kind of thing. It's like corn but all sugary or something, it sounds weird but it's so ADDICTING. It's almost like a dessert. But I don't really like stuffing or cranberry sauce, just tastes terrible :?

I would try to offer some advice but it's already been said in Ginger's post, but i'd like to add that I went through something similar to what you're going through and that you have my sympathies. But like Ginger said, try talking to her about it. I didn't in my situation and the worst case scenario ended up happening, so don't make the mistake I did.
