  1. You should have just copied and pasted it into a smaller canvas. Now it just looks awkward :P
  2. Not just PC boats, the entire island works too. Unless they changed it within a year and a half.

    Omegle.

I lol'd when he said "save game" and "put book in inventory" Did you make that up or is there a site that has narratives on it, and you only make up answers to the ridiculous requests?
  4. I'd mention the aviansies/chinning combo. It's great.
  5. Okay, Megan Fox doesn't look that hot, but she's not ugly either. :|
  6. Here's what you do. Today...

I should be going to bed, I need to get up in 5 hours. :ohnoes: You jerk! I should have been in bed hours ago, and I've already wasted at least an hour on this site. Who knows how much more I'll waste

    Today...

Italian's a lot like Spanish. Quite a few of the words are the same or similar, and same goes for the rules. I don't think it's like French though. And what's so bad about Quebec French?

    Today...

I obviously don't need to speak French, but it's much more useful than Italian. Plus, from all of the behind the scenes videos I've seen, a LOT of performers prefer to speak in French and a few don't even know English.
  10. For construction, did you know that armoured zombies in the tunnels that you go through during Defender of Varrock drop lots of planks? All four types, oak and normal are the most frequent though. They're also great combat exp and drop pure essence as well. Oh yeah, and I made my DIY account, Etage Cirque. I probably won't play him much until I get bored on my main account though.

    Today...

Today I've been doing some serious thinking. Earlier in the summer I decided to start learning Italian. At first I was extremely dedicated. I learned quite a few words and a few of the differences between it and Spanish. It wasn't a whole lot, but I could probably pass a final exam in a middle school Italian course. However lately I've been slowing down and reconsidering it. The thing is, learning Italian won't do much for me. The only real reason I was learning it is because I hate the sounds the English language makes and I wanted to learn a much more elegant language. Now enter French. Learning this language would help me ENORMOUSLY. My goal in life is to join Cirque du Soleil. It also has that elegant sound to it that Italian does. My only concern is that, from what I've heard, French is harder to learn than Italian. I also don't want to just throw away what I already know of Italian. I decided to just post this here since I've pretty much already made up my mind, being that I'm going to learn French, and because this is probably the most casual thread in OT. I guess I just want reassurance that I made the right decision. :P
  12. There're no Spanish worlds, right? D: Because that'd help me with Spanish too. I mostly play in English... though when the German worlds came out, I learned loads of German in two days. Of course, now I've lost all of that, so English it is. That's Portuguese. If anything, it will only mess up your knowledge of Spanish. :P I think I'm going to start playing in French worlds more often.
  13. You got it to add some color to a cape? :| 9/10
  14. You know, you've kind of inspired me; if nothing interesting happens to me in the game in the next month or so, I may just make my own DIY account. :P
  15. Most modern les pauls are overrated. But damn did he make an impact. RIP

    Food.

RAAAAGGEE. HOLY [cabbage] RAGGGGE, GOD DAMMIT!!! I hate that, when people and advertisers say "hand picked" or "hand cut". It doesn't make it taste freaking better if a machine does the work or not, nor does it make it less healthy. But, man, they're hand cut! Right there in the store! You can't get any more personal than that! I think their fries are okay, but I love their bacon cheeseburgers with A1... =P~ I also made a creme brulee so good I could actually pick up the layer of sugar. I'll post a picture in a minute.
  17. The best way is to just experiment and find out yourself. I know it's not the answer you want, but it's easily the best option. :P I'll help you get started though. For depth, whenever you're making a piece you want to pick out your background, middleground and foreground. Generally your render and your focal should be in your middleground. If you want to get crazy, though, you can make more than one middleground; this is a delicate thing to do, but when done right it can look awesome. An easy way to make a simple sense of depth is to make three layers. First you put your background on the lowest layer and your render in your middle layer. Your top layer you want to brush a couple colors then smudge them a little to create flow, or add to the natural flow of the render/background. Then you want to add three more layers between your layers, so it goes: background, new layer, render, new layer, smudge layer, new layer. Brush a color that fits with lots of scattering on all of the new layers. Then erase some of it to make it look more random. Then you want to run a gaussian blur of about 15-20 on the lowest scatter layers, then a gaussian blur of about 5-8 on the middle one, and do nothing with the top one. For color schemes, try out the site littleboy mentioned, kuler. Also try to keep your colors relatively unsaturated, and gradient maps can help a lot. Your focal is actually rather easy, you just need to follow the rule of thirds. The rule of thirds is dividing your canvas into nine different sections, and you should place your focal at or near one of the intersections. Here's a great example: For lighting, I'm still learning how to do that right. Hopefully someone else can drop in and help you with that D: . But what I do is add a new layer on top of everything and then take one of my more important colors, then drag the little color dot up quite a bit so it still looks similar but very light, then take a soft brush and brush where I want there to be light. Then I do the same but with a different color and make it very dark and brush where I want there to be a lack of light. It's not a very good method and I wouldn't recommend it, but I don't know any other ways to do it well D: though I've heard adjustment layers can work great if you know how to use them.
  18. Nintendo is combining all three Metroid games onto one double-sided disc for the Wii. Apparently they've all been adapted to the Wii controls. This is really neat for me since I bought the first game years ago but then my disc broke when I was about 20% through the game. I can't wait, it's coming out August 24th in the U.S. and will only cost $50. I'd say that's a pretty good deal, considering the third game also costs $50. :P It'll also be coming out on September 4th in Europe. Here's a trailer! [yt]u8klx34R8m8[/yt]
  19. Good job, 9/10. I remember fishing with you. I'll still never understand how someone can get 99 in that skill, it's so boring! :P
  20. I used to be fine with Jagex creating content for mid-level players, but I think they've been doing that long enough. We really need some new high level updates.
  21. No offence, but LOL. It's not fun at all, I used to have one, and got so sick of not trading. I quit it, now I wasn't very high at all. But still. When you're beginning and your levels are 45-50 it's easily one of the most frustrating things in the game to not be able to trade. But once you work through that and get your account to high levels like he did, I'm sure it's very fun. He's just playing the game to have fun, what's wrong with that?
  22. Wow, VERY impressive! DIY accounts look like so much fun once you get into the later levels!
