It's not as taxing on the videocard as it is the CPU. A person without a gfx card and instead an integrated video can still play minecraft comfortably on medium to medium-low settings. Depending on how good your CPU is, you might experience a bit of trouble. But a dual core 2.2 ghz with 4gb ram can play minecraft. My mobo doesn't have integrated graphics, unfortunately. So you're still using your old video card then? Yes. I've played a little Minecraft on it and it seems fine. However, when I try to play games like TF2, BC2, etc. my PC crashes. I ran Furmark and my GPU got very, very hot. That's how we figured out that the fan was dead.
