  1. Great guide  , I'll try them sometime. I took some pictures: Full Rune: Rune with Berserker (0): Rune with Berserker (100): The berserker (0) is there because it gives a strength bonus, and if you have good defense, it might be worth taking one :
  2. Actually, the maxium strength bonus is +178, with: Helm of Neitiznot Fire cape Amulet of Strength Barrows gloves Dragon boots Berserker ring Vesta's chainbody Vesta's chainskirt Godsword Vesta's don't last long though :?
  3. That actually might have been me (http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=744175), although I'm sure numerous other people have suggested this before. It would actually be better the other way round, like skillcapes can be purchased in freeplay and equipped on freeplay(amd emote, of course), but they will only give stat bonuses in members. This way there are no advantage for members that have a skillcape, and freeplay would get skillcapes too :
  4. Why the heck does everyone use expensive food for training? Lobbies, swordfish, pizzas, etc. I always use salmon or tuna, unless I'm fighting in a very remote location (far from a bank) in which case I use a mix of plain pizzas and tuna. And cockroach soldiers are NOT in a remote location, less than a minute away from Edgeville bank. Considering you are spending money on pizzas already, you might as well add some anchovies to them and make them heal 4 more -.- Lobbies are easily accessible, one can fish 27 per trip if they have the explorer's ring, and you barely burn any at around 60 cooking 1. Firstly, you do not need any safespots, nor will they be of any use considering the cockroaches are able to shoot back at you. You can stand 1 square away from the cockroach and it will used its ranged/mage attack instead of melee, and vice versa. 2. For your setup, use normal leather boots instead of fancy/fighting and a normal/team cape. The boots have negative bonuses towards range & mage and the defense loss from using leather boots are made back with the cape. Fancy boots simply provide too little bonuses to be worth that 1 range attack ;) 3. The rune full helms are used because it provides the best defense bonus in freeplay while only having-2 range bonus. It would be helpful in conditions like these where the monster hits you no matter what. For high defense bonuses, you can even have rune full helm with rune plateskirt/legs(along with d'hide body& vambraces) and still maintain a positive range bonus (+49 with maple shortbow) and have around +120 in defense. and even with Rune full helm, legging, kiteshield, dragonhide body, vambraces and crossbow, you still have +24 range attack(around +170 for defense). Fancy boots are not used for stats above, if you insist on using it, take one point off the range bonuses.
  5. Not sure if this matters, but my funpic wasn't added
  6. I believe someone mentioned that armoured zombies from the recent arrav quest are good experience... Will find the link soon... Edit: here it is! http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=767739
  7. You can 2 entries but they must be for a different cape... so choose one of the above! They both look   I'll use the second one : : hope it's not too late :ohnoes: Funpic: (if you don't get it, The person got turned into a rat, not really well made :P)
  8. Forum name: Peter144 Cape:Team39 (not sure, but it says you can have 2 right?) not alot to work with in freeplay
  9. steel plate twice, it mostly gives me 50- coins so I sometimes just takes the gold :
  10. The range guild is actually better than the runecrafting guild, if only the rewards inside are better, and cannot be bought elsewhere :
  11. A power ammy+ rune gauntlets pretty much secures 1 extra damage anyways, so I prefer power, plus the prayer bonus is handy in clan wars
  12. There are 7 different sets for mages in freeplay (4 unique, the rest are differently coloured variations) and NONE of them can be put into a set. -.-
  13. Yet if you have such range levels, you wouldn't consider using the crossbow because you could do much more, much quicker with a bow. :?
  14. im pretty sure they havnt cuz ive been there a lot and havnt noticed it, ill add that to the list, thanks They have been there since the day SOPS came out. I suppose I just didn't notice them #-o
  15. in the Doungeon of Player Safety They were't there before.(I hope :ohnoes: )
  16. The rant is about how the guild revolves completely around the minigame. Without the minigame, the guild is useless. :?
  17. Would a warhammer be any good? it seems like everyone would be using platebodies, and warhammers are said to be very effective against those. :?
  18. We're not going to be able to fit a third of our people because everyone is still gawking over the new worlds, great. Agreed. and on our way we'd probably run across a bunch of people going "0mg n00bs in steal!!! Must kill 4 l00t!!!" and have half of our people dead before we get there. Clan wars was fine, I don't see why we have to change. -.-
  19. And how would that make it a boss? The whole point of a boss is so groups can hunt it with lootshare on.
  20. Elemental wizards near port sarim are also quite good, they drop runes, and sometimes talismans, With water & fire talismans on over 1k each on the G.E., I think they are worth the time. They also aren't crowded at all : Note: use accurate here, they don't spawn fast and you'd be better off with accurate
  21. Sorry if this is in the wrong place. If so, can someone please move it to the right place? Now, this is not a rant about the mini-game. When I first heard that the Runecrafting Guild was released, I was very excited, knowing that it was also open to freeplay, and I really wanted those fancy robes all my high-levelled friends are wearing. So I decided to level my measly 36 runecrafting. Using a caculator, I worked out that I needed around 6,000 earth runes crafted along with earth gloves. I started to mine the essence, and after around 2,000 I decided to buy the rest. then I went over to Fist of Guthix to earn the gloves. after some time, I managed to get enough tokens for the gloves, and I crafted the runes. I managed to reach level 50! Excited, I crafted the leftovers and ran to the Runecrafting guild. Everything was new to me and all I've seen about it was a short video on youtube about it. I walked in and I wanted to examine everything inside the guild, and I read through conversations with the Lady out front.(sorry, forgot the name.) after reading through a rough description of the minigame I tried it out. The minigame itself was great, with awesome rewards. However, as I played the minigame I tried to find out more about this guild, and the skill itself. To my disappointment, there were nothing in there about the guild, nor any about the skill itself, other than a very brief description by the Lady in red. There were many wizards wondering around, but they do not provide any conversation, just the option of letting them put you into a team. There were just four wizards you can talk to, and three of them were all involved in the runecrafting mini-game. The other one is sort of crazy, and provide very little entertainment. What I feel that the "Runecrafting Guild" is completely revolving around the Great orb Project Mini-Game,and simple serves to provide a reason for the level limit. I would much prefer more about the history of runecrafting, as described in the quest, and some shops would be handy, Now if you compared this to any of the other guilds, for example the champions guild. It contains a mini-game, and two shops for good equipment, If one desires to buy it from a shop. It also contains a chicken coop for training and gathering bones, feathers, and a range near by for cooking it. While it is not the best guild, it still has things that will draw players back, sometime or another. The runecrafting guild, however, is only visited my many because of its rewards(rune essence sell for outrageous prices,The robes/staff), and frankly, I probably wouldn't visit it again, unless I have a need for money. There is also no bank nearby. I can understand that the point was to stop players from withdrawing their own essence to craft in the minigame, but a deposit box won't hurt. There are many ways to make this guild better, and I just think that They could've made it better, considering they made it already.I hope the runecrafting guild will be updated in the future, and become a more welcome place than a simple mini-game. sorry for the long paragraphs, I really need to let it out.
  22. Runecrafting robes are best if you want to just train nonestop for long periods of time, but combat robes are better If you don't mind recharging every once in a while (druidic takes too long to recharge, and have just as much magic bonus & less defense bonuses). Anyways, you will still get exp in FoG \
  23. Well, considering you already have 2 defense, would it be better to level it to 5 and wear steel? It does provide more bonus, after all. (or 10, I remember alot of armours were unlocked at level 10)
  24. It probably can work, If you have around half the inventory of kebabs and the other half with other, more stable foods, incase the kebabs have a negative effect/heals less than expected The high maxium healing can mean that lower leveled players will often waste healing or attempt to wait until their health is low enough for the 30 health heal, causing them to get ko'ed easily.
  25. There is a chance the corporeal beast do drop it, just that it's so rare that noone have gotton the drop yet ;) Just a guess :
