Dude. I think I might be breathing through just one  In my entire life I've never noticed...
  3. There aren't any good detail videos anywhere, but this is the pic I got: Crappy I know <_<
  4. This tbh. If it's about buses then you're not the only ones. We've been having local bus strikes on Mondays for weeks now. It's really frustrating for my mum and that.
  5. I agree. Please refrain from flaming other users, this thread is to congratulate a user's achievement - not belittle a different user's one. I've removed the flaming posts, so drop the arguing now.
  6. Wait... what? O_O I didn't know men could get breast cancer either... It's like winning the lottery. Except not good. (How my friend described it.) I suppose it's just way more rare since they do have breast tissue to some extent. Girls just have more of it so, more chance of cancer. It's logical, but when you first think of it, it's like 'Wat? O_o'

  8. Googled it. Haha, my dad's Stephens-Johnson Syndrome trumps your Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome in rarity. :P
  9. Okay let's stop this right here. The right thing to do would be to PM any errors to Mirrorforced, there is no need to bring them up here just to spark a reaction. I don't want to see any more arguments over the grammar of Master_Smither's article, my editing, or anything along those sorts of lines. If you really want to help improve the Tip.It Times then you can do it in more constructive ways than helping to cause an argument. Okay? No more.
  10. Even in a milder and inversal form, I would expect better than the "Well if you hate it so much, why do you play?" argument from a moderator. They do get recongition; if not from awards, than from the fanbase who supports them. But, they just don't deserve this particular recongition. That's it. Sorry, I'm not very inventive when it comes to arguments and debates like this. :P You may be right to some extent, but if you listen to quite a lot of the fan base you'd hear a lot more 'OMG JAGEX SUCK', but that's an entirely different thread. I just think they do deserve the award. They've put a lot of hard work into the game and Runescape is one of the definitive MMO games.
  11. It wasn't a 'small slip', it was a major error in writing, and besides, that was just the mistake in the first sentence. There are multiple run-on sentences and grammar mistakes throughout the article. If the mechanics of the writing distract a reader from the point the article was trying to make, it is a bad article. I'm sorry, but the "we're not in English class" argument isn't going to cut it here. He just sucks at writing and shouldn't be publishing articles with that lack of ability. And if you're the one that's proofreading, I think the staff needs someone else that will actually catch mistakes. If you have a complaint that needs addressing, please PM Mirrorforced and he will deal with any issues you might have with the Editorial Panel. If you just want to rant, please keep it to yourself. :)
  12. Started reading the second article by Master_Smither, Unbuyables, and I couldn't finish it after I read the first sentence. When writing an article you should probably at least make sure the first sentence is grammatically correct. People can make mistakes you know, we're all human and capable of error. One tiny error word in the article is hardly a reflection of the article's value. If you're a writer for a popular fan website or any respectable website, you should proofread your article. Grammar matters alot in any writing, and many people are reluctant to continue reading when an article has obvious mistakes. I don't know what Tip.it's standard is, but for most websites that wouldn't be acceptable. It wasn't that obvious of a mistake, I know that for a fact because I was the one who read over the article and did the editing. So if you're going to blame someone for a small error, then blame me. Small slips like that are easy to miss because the mind skips over them. It's like when people use the same word twice and you miss it because your brain skips over them and reads it correctly. It is also more courteous to PM Mirrorforced any mistakes you spot in the article, as is mentioned in the first post :)
  13. I agree. DO IT  I think we should PM messages for L0rd to read out, since many people are too lazy or can't make videos. You wouldn't need to read any that were offensive or anything, put people could PM shout outs to their friends or achievements they've done during the week (eg 99's). I filmed my trip to Nottingham the other day, I'll get around to compiling it into a video sometime this week.

  15. Mobilising Armies clothes are the hotness. <3:
  16. I've merged another thread into this one. Please keep all discussion of the recent 'Mechscape being cancelled/delayed/remade' topic in here please :)
  17. Tbh that's probably how some sort of release is going to go. I saw first hand that they're introducing bloom lighting with the fairy rework and the fairy rework is coming with FT P3, so it's a conceivable update. I'm not sure exactly when It'll be out though, it seems a little soon, but it is probably one of the bigger updates that is likely to come soon. I saw the videos of the GameCity conference posted by Me/MechscapeRen and saw that so that is where I got the idea. I really hope the skybox will come with bloom lighting as well  It's a pretty decent conclusion. Don't know about the skybox though. And I was there IRL. Those bloom effects are hot <3:

I always use paper money me. I mean, aside from the fact I only have about £5 in my bank (lulz), even if I wanted to, I never pay for things with my card irl. It's weird. I'm just far more used to dealing with cash I guess.
  19. If all you guys seem to like other games over Runescape then why aren't you on their fansites or something? (not that I want to discourage you from here) :P Jagex have put a lot of work into their game, and deserve recognition. Console games get a lot of credit, and when it comes to MMOs, WOW is just a popularity [bleep], Jagex don't get enough recognition IMO and I think they rightly deserve it.
  20. Nah, I liked that :P I was rooting for a mention of TET but I guess not. I don't bother with the RSOF forums for my events, we pwn them any day over here :P
