I was sitting at a tree woodcutting and somebody walks up and calls me a [bleep]. Go into a random bank and try to ask somebody an intelligent question. I am betting 80% of the time you get a stupid response back. Can you name for the hard quests. Count them up. And then divide it by the number of quests. Somehow I doubt your number will be much anywhere close to 20%. I realize their are pros and cons. Bad graphics is a con but like you said it allows more players to play the game and makes it easily accessible wherever you are. Bad customer support is not a con. It is a problem. There are no pros to Jagex's terrible customer support. Similarly there are no pros (in the context of serious gaming) to a combat system that is horrible balanced and based 80% on luck. You do know what an Xbox is right? You put a disk in a play the game. There is no way for the game makers to communicate with you once the game is purchased and in your Xbox. Please PM and let me know you are trolling. I don't troll. I understand there are less obvious chances for communication, but there are things like Xbox live. Practically every console is connected to the internet these days, why don't those companies try to use it. I assume every game has some sort of official website, why don't they set up forums, talk with users, advertise said forums. Why not set them up before the game is released? Talk about how the game development is going, what the publishers are doing to make the wait so long... of course not as many people would know such things existed, so why not advertise it? Put a little slip of paper in every game box advertising the game website. I understand it's more limited, but it's not like these people can't use the internet just because the game isn't on there.

Today I became Racheya again. It's quite nice to be back :thumbup: It was fun being Mirror though. I babysat also, it was okay. It's 3am atm though, I should go to bed <_<

They may have had smaller bases but the problem is the "base" wasn't even told. Are you to blind to realize that somebody playing on their Xbox doesn't get a helpful message every two weeks letting them know their is a contest going on? The WoW players that get laughed at are the ones who play 20 hours a day on 5 computers at once. Every RS players gets laughed at because Customer service sucks The graphics are terrible It is impossible to hold a conversation for more than two seconds because the maturity is non-existant Your "skill level" is proportional to how much time you grind and has no basis in reflexes or understanding of the game Absolutely no regard to balance in PVP Everything about combat relies on you getting lucky Jagex never admitting they made a mistake and fixing things Terrible end game content considering the time effort Questing is basically gather said list, kill monster that requires you to switch pray (Hard concept), return to quest giver The economy and trade in general suck now? Before the GE you couldn't even skill because of bots I am sure I could find some more things if you want. Ignoring the 'amg Runescape sucks that why I'm on a Runescape fansite!@' aspect, if the people that made those Xbox games erm... I don't know... interacted with their players, maybe tried this new age thing called 'communication', I've been hearing so much about, then maybe they would get the votes. They didn't even bother, so their loss.

Don't get yourself involved in cheating, it won't work out for you. If you're going for money, dragons are hot atm (no pun intended). The price of dragon bones is sky high right now, I'd highly recommend WC for equipment then killing some green drags.

Indeed, it did look a bit rubbish, though aside from pre-HD graphics, it'd have pre-HD technology and concepts. If they scrap it, I'm hoping that it's worth the wait, since there's only a chance of it coming out in 2010 now. :angry:

The problem with time travel (aside from it not existing) is that if you go back in time to stop something happening, the reason you went back in time wouldn't exist, which means you would never go back in time. I got around to doing the Wilderness Mage Arena and used the guide, I noticed the image for the first and second form of Kolodion was pretty poor quality so I screencapped an image for you. First form: Feel free to use, crop, do as you like with it :thumbup: I tried to do the second form but it didn't work out <_<

Everquest would like to speak to you on that. See, just because they were the first does not mean they launched the genre. There were probably writers who wrote fantasy before Tolkien and writers who wrote sci-fi before Jules Verne, but they didn't found the genre. Those who get popular enough to make a difference, however, do. Runescape wasn't popular enough to be able to found the genre, though it may have been the first. I didn't say found, I said launched. Of course, they didn't create the genre, but they were the ones to popularise it and make people see it. For example (and this is probably a bad example, so bear with me), Twilight wasn't the first Teenage vampire novel, but it was the one to launch the genre into people's eyes.

<_< I can't believe there's even going to be a film based around the bloody 'end of the world in 2012'. Nothing of consequence will happen, except maybe the Olympics, which London will fail horribly at doing.

It was in Nottingham, people are confused over Cambridge because that's where the Jagex HQ is. :wink: Oh i think i said it wrong. I meant where in Nottingham was it. I paid no attention to it as i thought it would have been in Cambridge, and I'm currently living in Nottingham. *Waits for Racheya to respond* :blink: :P It was at the centre, there was this fountain thing and according to my ticket it was in the old ballroom or something like that. I noticed a lot of things were prefixed with 'old' in Nottingham. Odd :blink:

They totally deserve it. You might ask why, but I don't think anyone else could have made such a successful MMO and basically launch the genre. Especially from a relatively small company when compared to Blizzard ect.

Most of the pics were from already existing places, but at the start there were a few pictures of the new Zanaris. It's totally hot. I'll upload mine asap, the quality isn't brilliant though.

Normal membership is £3.50 which is about right. Like has been said, services through text or cards cost more. Go off the cost of the cards in the US rather than credit/debit membership.

I think they might have had issues with people not getting the joke - and seriously thinking all they did was sleep and snog :mellow:
