A problem: to redo the combat system and death scene will require longer animation, not to mention the number of bits that needed to reprogrammed to suit what you suggested (which can take up considerable amount of time). Just a sample preview, go kill a cow and watch its death scene (crouching on its forelegs and then laying down), which is a lot slower than other monster's. You will be glad that Jagex did not make all monsters to have extra long death scene.

It just give more bonus exp, so if you want to level quicker, it is worth the effort to train.

Rule of Thumb: if you use morphic tool, you gain bonus exp. So construction and smith can give bonus exp for using morphic hammer.

The xp gained per altar is always double. So if you normally get 7 per Air, then you can get 14 in Great Orb Air. Use Great Orb regularly if you dont care about speed, though I would strongly suggest you to craft at least two different sets there.

Train on Ice Giants, they are quite profitable, even for mages and rangers
