I actually gave my brother full Bandos to run to Little Caesars to grab me a pizza a few months back (Knee surgery... Couldn't walk). =/. It would be cool to see some trees or ore similar to farming patches. You can cut yours down (And then have to wait the normal amount of time for re-spawn), but the other player's might still be there because he hasn't yet. Know what I mean? That way they may influence prices, but they aren't affecting the people around there trying to train.

It's the same in many other minigames or diversion areas. Makes you almost want to leave entirely, eh? Not really. In-fact I think it probably simply tempts more people to bot seeing as there are no consequences and the only bots that are detectable are the ones writen in under 5 minutes. 10 minutes and it's undetectable. World 9 Soul Wars used to be a nice relaxed / small Soul Wars world. Now there are more botters then legit players. =/

And that's what is sad. You can be guaranteed that other people have reported them, thus bringing it directly to Jagex's attention that, "Hey, person x is botting!" and they still can't detect and ban them. The same thing goes with Soul Wars. I see the same people there for months. We have fun trapping them behind cades to get them kicked from game... But they started getting smart and using crossbows. So I used a Forge Regent to un-equip their weapon, trapped them again, and they get booted from game. But these people have been reported and have literally still been there for months!

See, I haven't got a problem with people botting. TBH, I completely understand it. The skills shouldn't be grinding. When skilling, I feel like I'm 8 years old writing lines for shooting a spitball at the teacher, doing the same thing over and over and over. They are extremely boring. Wasn't the game meant to be fun? Why must we grind for hundreds upon hundreds or hours to be able to have/reach/unlock that fun? The problem I have is with these companies, mainly RWT, who run hundreds and hundreds of bots. Going to get a blue dragon egg and it being filled with: akfy3948, gwpt2547, witg0266, etc... All wearing the same gear, following the same path. They are ruining the game, not the people in the paragraph below. The problem isn't the odd level 100+ who is persuaded into trying a bot, or who gets a 99 or two using one. It's the thousands of bots out there run by a single company for the sole purpose of making GPs and items to sell for IRL money. Keeping the paragraph above in mind, that's why I disagree with the people saying, "All Jagex has to do is make people not want to bot; Make the skills fun, not grinding." That won't stop the main, big problem... Kinda like walking around to a few hotspots and banning a few bots in public to make it seem like they're doing something.

It's only worth that much IRL money if you planned to sell it. Now also, she put no more effort into her account then any of us so what would allow her special treatment. Who care how much she lost... A level 100 put the same amount of effort into getting their first set of Bandos and GS as she did... So if they get hacked (Which I believe is always the player's fault), should they be given their things back? No.

Did y'all know cancelling your subscription with the reason of poor customer support... They offer you a discount to reactivate it in the next x amount of days? ;).

Lol, we can all say, "I've been tempted," but apparently cannot say, "I's done it in the past." Like really, what damage is done by saying, "Yeah, I botted fletching a while back"? Do Jagex and Tip.It live in cotton candy land where they believe everything and everyone is perfect and nothing goes wrong? Sitting there with their head between their knees, their eyes closed, and their fingers in their ears refusing to hear/believe other-wise. Actually... Maybe that's why Jagex is doing [bleep] all about bots.

Yet to lose any money from it. :). But meh, I fly out to Australia on the 20th of April and after that I won't be seen on RuneScape again. So unless it's going to happen in the next 10 days, I think I'm safe. ;). Plus, April 19th I go "all-out" and see if I'll win/lose it all; A chance at a double or nothing of the past 8+ years which will just end up be given to friends. :).

If I'm on a relaxed day (More doing it for the fun) I do similar to that. I make sure that every stake, win or lose, earns me an extra 10M. So I do this (If losing): 10M (10M profit if won) - 30M (20M profit if won) - 70M (30M profit if won) - 150M (40M profit if won) - 310M (50M profit if won) - 630M (60M profit if won) - Etc. Very very very fast cash. Odds of getting cleaned... Very very very slim. Highest I've had to go was the 1270M mark and only happened once. You only need to lose once, before you're cleaned. Even if you lose about 10 times, you're staking 1024 times more gp than your originally lost. Odds of losing is slim, odds of winning an amount that could pay for potential losses before actually losing is slimmer. With the system I've been using, I only have to win once to make back my losses and a huge amount of profit. I've not started putting up my phats yet, but if it got that high, I wouldn't hesitate. With the above method (10M-30M-70M-Etc), as soon as I win one, I start back off at 10M. My GF's been cleaned a few times, but I give her some money for some bigger ones and it pays off and we come out on top by far. :P. Fun to see her do 250M+ (Which is never by her choice... Lol). Shakes like a leaf. <3:.

Why may i ask, did you have pots turned on? Unless im mistaken doesn't the overload thing only work if pots are on? pots were turned off.. just another fail glitch from jagex i quess I've seen that one as well. It's not widely used though, so you really shouldn't be all too afraid of staking. I and friends have still been staking Elys and such legit. Only had it happen to me during a 350M.

:thumbup: They can detect bots, they ban thousands every day. Yes, they claim to have. I've cleaned Sparc Mac, got 374 Divine Sigil drops, my real RSN is Zezima, and I've soloed Nex with nothing more then a bronze crossbow. How come I can report bots until I'm blue in the face at Soul Wars, and yet day after day those same bots are still there. And if they do detect and ban any bots, the bots are obviously written by some script kiddy who can't take 5 second to make the bot undetectable. Even the most obvious bots go months and months and are still playing... And Jagex even has it's players helping them by reporting them. Still unbanned. Checklist to beat Jagex's detection system: Random sleep/delay values - Check. Slightly randomize click coordinates - Check. Random click colors - Check. Allow the bot to make "on-purpose mistakes" - Check. Realistic/human-like mouse movements - Check. Beat Jagex's bot detection system - Done.

Nice scare tactic Jagex. Let's see how many people you manage to fool. Your bot detection system is garbage. End of story. What should they have said instead? We're sorry that we suck so hard at bot control? That's not very good PR. I would rather them use their time and effort in improving their detection systems that will actually catch what they say (Hundreds of thousands)... Rather then walking around banning some here and there. There's hundreds of bots in each world. This won't even put a dent in their numbers.

How? Believe it or not, not a single round of Pyramid Plunder. At 3.2M XP gained for the day right now. There's ways of achieving huge amounts of XP through the Thieves Guild (That doesn't involve glitching TYVM -.-) but for some reason people prefer Pyramid Plunder. O_o.

How do you play without anti-aliasing... RuneScape looks terrible without it. What does anti aliasing do for runescape exactly? I turned it on and off few times, didnt really notice any major difference? same thing it does everywhere basicly it turns \ .l .\ into \ .\ ..\ Is that supposed to make sense? yea fail layout is fail ^^ it smoothens out lines, better? :P A side-by-side comparison: No anti-aliasing (Jagged edges)... Anti-aliasing (Smooth/soft edges)...

My experiences (Ones I tried to get fast and easy): 64-99 Thieving in 2 days. 70-99 Herblore in about 50 hours. 50-99 Cooking in 2 days. 30-99 Fletching in 2 days. 80-99 Crafting in a day. 70-99 Construction in 3 days. Those are in order of which I thought was easiest. Mind you, as most of you know I get stock piles upon stockpiles of effigies from Tormented Demons... So they kinda played a role in the times. If you have the supplies, all 99s are easy. If you exclude obtaining charms, I might say summoning is the easiest.
