Naw, but apparently the same can't be said about Jagex's QA team. I mean really... Let's update the RoW and make it work for bosses and affect the best drops in-game. K? Now let's not test it at the most well-known bosses like Corporeal Beast and Bandos and release it as is. It's genius! As I said before, either sheer laziness or complete stupidity; Jagex.

A few more stakes. My rule is every 100M I make, I bank it and start back at 100M (Incase I somehow have insanely bad luck I won't be tempted to go all-out). Just today it's about 1.28B starting from just under 50M. I has a good strategy. ;). Maybe once I grow some more balls, I'll start on PHats again. Well, went staking again. After losing a blue partyhat, I decided to take someone's advice and do smaller stakes since doing big ones are easy to get cleaned. Only ones I screenied... Was about 300. Lol. [hide=Stakes] Kinda felt bad for this after doing Nex with him lot... But he challenged me when I was spamming for a 40M box. Normal stake... Nothing notable. Guy turned on shield and boots without me knowing. He DFS specced me twice, but my Elysian won. ;). Nothing special. [/hide] Made a pretty penny today since those were within a few minutes of each other and I just got the 6 hours logout. ;).

Yes, but they run the update on several computers well before it even goes "live". Runescape get a content patched update almost every week, one week is barely enough time to test anything. Before any content patch gets released in Wow it has to go through the public test realm for over a month or 2, tests by some of the most knowledgable players. It is not the same time frame. I doubt very much that they created the new drop tables and altered the ROW in one week. When was the actual Dev Blog posted about the "ring of wealthier" as they called it? It was in progress long before that at least. Even still... ROW alters drops, including boss drops. Maybe test it at boss monsters with and without LS/CS? As I said, it takes all but 5 minutes. If it was, "Well, it's not supposed to work with LS, then why should we test it?" then it is mere laziness. Or, if they simply didn't think of trying with LS/CS, then they obviously don't deserve their jobs because of their stupidity and lacking abilities in QA. Like really.

I recall mod andrew talking a long time ago (like 7 years ago) about corruption within jagex. About how some Jmods kept a large stash of rares for themselves after holiday, and how he was aware that some of these Jmods would alch said rares for fun occasionally. but as for more current events, i have no evidence. Well c'mon now. Do you expect people who know about these updates to not use it to their own advantage? For example, say they were to update Elysian Spirit Shields. Wouldn't you expect the employees aware of this update to buy one or two for themselves? Or do you expect them to wait for the update and buy them as everyone else would just hearing of the update?

Whether it was supposed to work with it or not (Referring to the comment about it not supposed to work with LS/CS). It was a different style of online gaming (3D futuristic warfare), but the idea remains the same. Afterall, it takes what... All but 5 minutes for them to do a test Bandos run, a test Corporeal Beast run, a test Nex run? The idea that none of them thought, "Let's try LS/CS," just says that their QA team needs to be fired for people with IQs above that of a door knob. So, it was either complete laziness or complete stupidity. Either way, bravo Jagex. Bravo. -_-

Well, say you get your Smithing to 95 for the ultra omega death sword and the uber 1337 platebody. You make one. Now what? Continue to train with mithril / adamant for minimal XP only for the cape? Not's not a whole lot different. People can use extremes and overloads to train and get 99 Herblore.

That's very true about the fake women that play. Apparently their all from florida and they will have names like Sarah/amy/Jess. lol. On runescape you can tell the fake girls. Blonde hair, pigtails. And they usually act like a boy. Other then that I kinda don't like being called a guy player. But who else to blame, but 12 yr old boys. But I end up going around with my fiance on rs usually so I don't really get that guy comment much, which I'm happy about. As for me 22/f/nj name is Lisa. I don't quite get it. You don't get pestered alot because you go around with your fiancé in the game? JMods can't trade players though, so even though they can spawn whatever inv they want, they can't trade it. They can modify your bank's content though, so why would they need to trade you? Don't think it was likely an inside job, I think it probably slipped their mind. Not surprised that it was discovered so quickly though - when you have an update that modifies drops, the first thing players will do is test it out. So something that might slip under the noses of 20 people at jagex testing it for 10 hours each won't slip past 20,000 players playing 20 minutes each. And the QA didn't think to try it at the monster with one of the highest valued drop tables? o_O. How exactly did they test it... Killing cows, goblins, and possibly if they were too lazy... Steel dragons?

Just thought of this, not really related to the topic... But did they explain why all items in your bank for that short period of time had a Drop option? That's quite the... Um... Accident?

1337 cape?

Just watched a video not long ago that was from years ago where they mentioned expanding beyond the eastern desert. Must be a pretty big project. I would love to see the expansion and finishing of the elf-lands. That quest that was released long ago (the dead/injured adventurer with the bloody notes in the room where you had to mix light which led to a dead end cave) got me all hyped thinking it'd be soon... Again, I wasn't thinking Jagex. All raising to 120 would do is give maxed players a number, and possibly a cape, to shoot for. That's still the only reason people train beyond that of the levels of unlocking new content now-a-days. I would definitely not support it.
