  1. You didn't crop your last image. I can see a staking script AND a thieving bot. Cute. : / The "thieving bot" is a script that maps RuneScape actions to my Wii remotes, as Cheeze said. For example, holding B and flicking the remote down, right clicks the cosher and goes to "Lure". Hardly a bot, simply mapped controls. I've shown and sent to source for the key maps to many people, so I can be backed up. ;). These: Fair enough then :P, still seems like more effort having to whip your hand up and down to lure/thiev every time. Surely that would hurt just as much as using a mouse/mousekeys? Actually, it's very cool. You don't even have to look at the screen. And it's easier / faster to hold B and flick your wrist then to right click and move the mouse down x pixels to lure or loot. :). Swooping the remote diagonally up-left moves the mouse over the cosher. It's a rather neat / more interactive way of playing RuneScape. :D. The remotes don't work for the games they were designed for, so I installed them as joysticks and monitored patterns. All tilting / swinging / etc does is alike changing the x, y, and z axis on a normal joystick. Flicking it up-right for example, shoots the z axis up, and the x axis left. Easy to assign an action to. ^^.

  3. Staked a few today. One day I'll have the balls to start putting my phats up again but... :P. [hide=8 Stakes] [/hide]
  4. I dunno about that. If bots are not using browsers, as has been purported, then none of Jagex's (invisible in P2P) advertisements are getting "hits" which means that they're not earning that revenue off botters ... They are still getting hits, just being hidden. The botters are still paying their memberships. Botters = money for Jagex.
  5. omfg i would be so mad too if i were using below average gear, potions, prayers, and stats with effectively NO lsp and didn't get the first sigil i've seen in a 20 man team Who pissed in your cheerios? ;) Not everyone is a high-level with a huge bank, man. Weird. I usually don't eat cereal, but I had to have something to take with my percoset (Can't take them on an empty stomach)... Literally just finished a bowl of Cheerios like 2 seconds ago. -.-
  6. I hate skillers that complain that they aren't making as much money. They can, just as easily as the rest of us, train their combat skills and do some Nex / Bandos / etc. There may be 17 other skills, but the game is based off those 8.
  7. L0l! it's a game. You can't charge young teens real life money for getting a computer to play a game for them. Also bots do bring something to the game, you must not realise the scale of botting. How much do you think sharks would be if they wern't botted? Or herbs? Or infinity robes? Those things take hours in game but cost relatively little because thousands of people bot them. Jagex realises that there needs to be bots, that's probably why they reduced their punishments. But then you get the skillers saying, "It's losing me moneys because I fish, woodcut, etc!" ...When really, there's nothing stopping them from coming to Nex, Bandos, or staking like the rest of us. Or the price of raw materials could skyrocket and skilling could actually make money like it was designed to? And 99's would retain some value? RuneScape is combat based. It always has been. Those that refuse to accept that and [bleep] about not having as much money deserve it.
  8. She needs to start assigning TDs and GWD bosses... Like really, greater demon tasks works at Zamorak but not TDs. -.- That would make slayer tasks harder... But Jagex seems to think harder = more of the monster to fight. So, instead, we'll soon be fighting 350 abyssals, 200 steel dragons, etc. After-all, that's all Kuradel was (With exception of Jad).

  10. About an hour or two of staking: [hide=Staking Pictures] [hide=10-19M] [/hide] [hide=20-29M] [/hide] [hide=30-39M] [/hide] [hide=50M-59M] [/hide] [hide=60-69M] [/hide] [hide=Best Stake (for 500M)] [/hide] [/hide] Had a good box against Wyodaniel who Nexs with us... He beat me for 62M. :P.
  11. As many have said, they have no grounds to sue them. Going against Jagex's ToS isn't illegal. And TBH, the bot developer could technically say, "I don't play RuneScape... I didn't accept any ToS." Writing bots and hacks for online games is no way illegal. Sure they may be able to find some copyright suits, like they did with PowerBot, but that is is.
  12. If they make money doing it, why not? It's extremely easy money. ;).
  13. Who here thinks A-Log should show you kills and deaths and how much you, or your target were risking. Maybe not even only for PvP. Like, if I die risking 80M at Nex, it should say. :P. Should also say who / if anyone, blessed the grave.
  14. So botting then becomes "hacking". My specialty, I love it! :P. Or at least what they call hacking in multi-player FPS... Which is simply editing client memory.
  15. Not sure why people think changing the IDs would do anything. Being a programmer, I can tell you that'd be the easiest thing to correct in a bot. Hell, I could write an undetected bot for just about anything on RuneScape and make it not use IDs. The only way to fully detect bots would be to use a 3rd party software like other gaming companies. For example, playing WarRock or Battlefield launches Hackshield / Punk Buster. The reason for this is... They often detect the ones whose bots are embedded into the RuneScape applet, correct? Well, that's an easy fix. They can track mouse movements and colors clicked. Hm, randomize click colors and coordinates, randomize sleep patterns and add human like mouse-movements and you just beat their current system.
  16. Usually I box, but I often times have my Virtus / Elysian / DFS / etc in my inventory incase they try to switch (And often I just let them as if I didn't notice). Had a guy put on a DFS, so I equipped the DFS to hit (Including DFS spec), Elysian to defend, DFS to hit, Elysian to defend, etc. :P. Wooped his butt. :).
  17. Thats interesting. Stakes are purely luck though, you can't really calculate that. I wrote it to simply do a few things: -Tells me my odds of winning, keeping the previous stakes in mind. -It tells me my profit or loss on if I were to win or lose a given number. -Lets me know how many I can afford to lose with my given strategy with the cash I have in my inventory. =). -Etc. Statistically, it's very correct and has proven to be with my wins. As I said, I start with 26 - 30M, and do xM until I reach a certain amount, then add some to my stakes. Once I reach a given amount I bank all but 25 - 30M and start again. ^^.
  18. Been upping my stakes a bit and it seems to be paying off... However, I'm keeping the relatively same strategy as before. I do SD for staking so that it will load faster. The staking script you see calculates my next stake based on my wins and lloses and previous stakes. It's worked pretty damn good so far. ;). Logdotzip, I would have purchased that off of you. :P. Getting myself some more pernix on my noob. =).
  19. Exactly. When I worked for BA a while back, we told them, "You have the privilege of playing our game, not the right."

Bah! Had my tenth knee surgery on the 23rd and just started therapy again today. Ouch! Th whole reason for the surgeries is an MRSA infection that I can not get rid of and keeps coming back. Hopefully this will be my last and I can go back to work and college soon! Been fighting this for over 2.5 years! 2nd day after surgery and after a knee replacement, I'm already walking without crutches (Even though my doctor will kill me for it), and over a 90 degree bend. :D. Soon as I'm all set, I'm heading to Australia. ^^.
  21. No, it's exactly 0 dollars. It's only $100, 000 if you were planning on selling. However, I believe there's old evidence of Chessy using RWT... So she very well might have. I agree with not returning the items. Chessy has put no more effort into the game as most others. She deserves no special treatment. If they gave her special treatment, I would also expect the same. We both pay the same for membership and both work just as hard on her accounts.
  22. I don't see how it makes the thread load slower. I could understand it taking the server an extra few milliseconds, but nothing humanly noticeable.
  23. What would that be? Considering that they, as well as the bot developers and users, have done nothing illegal and nothing that you could sue for. I have enough money not to care either way. 99 Prayer could have cost me 800M, it could have cost 100M. Would have got it either way. Yeah, I personally would benefit from bots... So that means I'm encouraging them? I'm sure you'd love to pay 2x as much for your 99s... [sarcasm] 'Cause if you don't, you're encouraging botting because you desire what they are doing (Lowering prices). [/sarcasm] I've got all the 99s that potentially make money. They could bring gold ore ore to 1gp, magic logs to 1gp, or fish to 1gp for all I care. Sp yeah, I'd appreciate it if they lowered to pure essence prices. Sue me. Just because they desire the same end result (Lower prices) does not mean they approve or encourage the means of which it happening. Tell me, everyone knows of the bots in the chaos tunnels that kill green dragons. Am I encouraging rule breaking if I take advantage of that and go down there to steal their kills (Hit them once, let the bots finish them)? Because I am using bots to my advantage and benefiting from them? Enjoying the low prices that they are providing is no different... Using them to my advantage for cheap 99s and benefiting from them.
