Today...
Gah I hate maths. 5th form was really easy for me, but 6th form I did pretty bad in. It probably did help that I didn't study at all for the exams and couldn't remember a thing... I passed 3 out of 4 by answering the first page. What's wrong with your science marks? Do you have high prerequisites for 6th form science at your school? I thought you could just do whatever? As for resubmitting them, I think it costs like $10 a paper or something, so you'd best check it carefully, I know teachers at my school offered to check your papers if you thought something was wrong with them. Thought I never got any of my stuff rechecked, I didn't really care enough. In my opinion, 5th form NCEA doesn't really matter that much, escpecially if you plan to go on and study at a higher level. Although I guess it probably does get you used to exams and study and learning etc... Ahh I dunno. Hmm accounting was funny cos all the people in there sat their quietly, only asking each other if they got X number for Y collumn...It was true tourture comming from Geog.

Today...
Wow good job  How how did you get two E's in Geog and two A's? Did you run out of time? That's what usually happened to me, though I always found skills was the easiest so I always did that first. And 5th form English was the worst subject cos of the 5 essays in three hours <_< I had to laugh at accounting though, at my school account and geog were on at the same time, in the class next to ours. Geography was the cool class with the cool teacher, and accounting was the opposite. The "punishment" in geog was to get sent into the accounting class for the rest of the period and get bored out of your mind. So I find it funny you do both :P What are you doing next year? Apart from all three sciences...

Today...
Must not have hit the right spot... or you don't react to that. My "reflexive knee jerk" is extremely obvious. Today we had 5 extra bodies so I wasn't working very hard. Tomorrow I get to wear whites, doing a job I will hate. Bodies ? What work do you do ? I think he means like staff. Pffft. Sure he does. :notalk: Staff in the deep-freeze ! Eeek. Hmmm, true he could work in a morgue I guess. And by the way, 20 minutes hitting your knee? 20 minutes? You must be reee-heeeally bored...

Water, Pop, Soda, Sports Drinks
Well I try and stay away from all "soda" kind of drinks, they're terriable for you and I'm not really a fan of the taste. So I don't even have them, let alone the diet options. I buy the occasional Powerade when I play cricket, because spending 5 or 6 hours in the sun you need the hydration. And apart from water, I find the best thrists quencher is cold milk.

Lose some fat
Not too much peanut butter though, it has a fair amount of fat. Pretty much what everyone else has said, sort out your diet and get more active. If you stick with running, you should start shedding the pounds.

Tip.it YouTube Channel (TIF HowTo by Rangeor: PIANO SKILLS}
It has a pretty big window. I just don't really open it Fair enough. He reminds me of an American neighbor I had last year. Did he move or something? My friend moved to NZ a year or two ago. He lives in Canada now though. Also, I especially didn't have my window open when filming because I didn't really feel like explaining why I was taking a video to my mom, dad, or brother. Oh the falt next to us had 5 Americans on some Univeristy exchange, so they were only here for 6 months. He was from California though, i think he went to Berkley or something. Yeah, I filmed mine outside so no-one would see me and ask what the [bleep] I was doing. Ps: Morrowind is awesome!

Dolphins and Albatross
Haha that episode is awesome! They not scary at all, they really good at playing around with you, but also good at not bumping into you. I didn't even touch one, I could have reached out, but we were instructed not to. Yeah, we swum with them (link at top of the page!). Yeah I would mind a better camera, but this one is only a year old and I don't use it that much. Maybe you should get a better camera!!!

Whaling
This is coming from someone with a "Nuke the whales" signature... Impressive. I don't really see a point in researching them by killing them off... Would there not be more to learn about them while they're alive? You only need one whale to research dead, not one thousand. Kirby, it was never "research". Well they may be doing "some" research, but I don't believe it needs to be lethal. Nor do I believe they need a quota of 1000 Minke whales per year. Nor do I agree with these "research" vessels making a lot of money by selling their catch. When look at what is acutally going on it becomes pretty clear that their is a monteary motivation for what they are doing, which = commercial whaling, not scienific research.

Favorite thing about the opposite sex?
We don't understand yours either! :P Sex, beer, football. Gollygeewhillickers men are complex! If I may quote Pride & Prejudice: are you so severe on your own sex? First of all, there is much more to *decent* men than sex, beer, and football. And even if all men were that simple, it certainly wouldn't be something to brag about. Good for you. This could have been a good thread if every other man in here wasn't so focused on the physical. Well I agree with Rebdragon's post two posts above. I think anyone who pretends not to be interested in physical aspects of a female is straight up just lying, and/or trying win over the support of females on these forums being trying to sound sensitive. But in saying that personally the whole package is pretty important. Yes, looks are very important but there is almost nothing less attractive than a stupid good looking girl. Aka Miss South Carolina, the famous for her nonsense, babbling speech. Pyschical looks are pretty important for initial attraction, but if a girl can't hold a convosation or you interest, then she quickly becomes less attractive to me.

From my amazing time away
Uuuggggh, no hide tags! My internet is currently at dial up speed, so when it loads in like 15 minutes I'll tell you what I think. Hmm did the weather not turn up for you? Some of the pictures seem a bit gloomy, like it was cloudy the entire time. In saying that my favourite one is the first river picture.

New Jersey legalizes medical marijuana...and bans gay marriage
Gay marriage isn't legal in most of the world, actually. I think he meant what I believe. Where legalizing pot was bad, and denying gay rights is bad, therefore a step backward. I'm currently conversing the theory of a MAJOR consiracy over the marijuana legalization. It's disturbing what the goverment could possibly be doing. I may expand that thought later. Well sort of. I meant that the trend seems to be the legalisation of gay marriage, or some kind of legal recognition as their status as a joined couple. Countries like Norway, Sweden, Belguim, The Netherlands - countries with the highest standard of living all allow gay marriage. Pretty much the rest of Europe and NZ all have "civil unions", which gives couples the smae legal rights as marriage. It just seems like a step banning it is a step in the wrong direction. But also it looks like they have the decision around the wrong way too. If you asked me what was more worthy of being legal, medical marajuana or gay marriage I would have said the latter. I think that gay marriage would be useful or meaningful for a lot more people than medical marajuana. (Not tha I have any kind of research of stats to back that up).

Only in America? It seems a bit backwards to be honest.

Dolphins and Albatross
Well I have a Sony Cybershot that I got last Christmas, it's a pretty cheap one, about $200 NZD when I got it. It's a bit annoying cos there aren't many settings you can change. And I'm not exactly a good photographer, plus the dolphins move pretty quickly while you're on a moving boat. Those were my best shots, you should have seen thr rest :P I can't really complain, it was an amazing experience. It's pretty awesome when you're in the water, you look down and you can see three or four dolphins swimming underneath and round you. Sometimes the come up and circle you, looking you in the eye the whole time as you try and paddle in a circle and try to keep up with them. It's hard to put that amazing experience into words...

Dolphins and Albatross
Today (11/1/10)I went on a snorkeling trip out at sea (as part of a chartered tour) where I got swim with a pod of Dusky Dolphins, and afterwards managed to snap some pics. [hide][/hide] [hide][/hide] [hide][/hide] [hide][/hide] I didn't have anyone to take pics in the water, but this is what it likes like when you go swimming with them. Dolphin swimming Yesterday (18/1/10)I had a chance to go on a Seabird tour, to see mainly Albatross, but I also saw some more Dusky Dolphins, as well a some Hectors Dolphins. [hide][/hide] Southern Giant Petrel [hide][/hide] Shy Albatross [hide][/hide] Wandering Albatross [hide][/hide] Antipodean Albatross [hide][/hide] Two Southern Giant Petrels fighting over food, while many Cape Petrels wait for scaps [hide][/hide] A Northern Royal Albatross, it flew near the boat but didb't land in the water close enough to the boat to get a picture. [hide][/hide] Another Dusky Dolphin we saw on the way back [hide][/hide] A Hectors Dolphins, the smallest and rarest dolphin in the world! Pretty rare to see them, aparently. A cool rock that I got a good picture of (good for me that is, go easy shiny  ). Most photos are not great or anything, but I'm bragging more about the exprience that the photo quality.

Today...
I had pretty much the awesomest day ever. I went on an early morning snorkeling trip out at sea where I went swimming with Dusky dolphins - it was pretty amzing having dolphins swim up to and around you. I'll post some pictures in the gallery I think. The this afernoon I went on a three hour rafting trip. We went though some pretty awesome rapids, and on some of the smooth sections of the river we got out, swam and dove off the cliffs. Pretty epic day to be honest. Man I love living in NZ.
