Todays economy dictates a good 22 years practically minimum Pretty much, unless you have a girlfriend/FB you're close to or an older sibling to crash with, you're practically garment's ( <-because [bleep]ing Chrome can't pick up the word I'm trying to spell) to be stuck home till 21+ (excluding if you join the Defence Force) I wouldn't say that. A lot of people leave home at around 18 to go and study, travel and work. What I was alluding to was that parents are usually financially responsible for their children for a few years after the age of 18.

If you invest a bit more in a decent pair they will last much longer and maintain comfort levels better over time, assuming your feet aren't growing. I have a pair of good quality Asics running shoes that I paid $200 for over 4 years ago that still do they job nicely, despite being a bit worn down. Like Steve said, depends how serious you are, if you really want to get into running then you should be willing to spend a bit extra.

Only 18 years? Good luck getting rid of them after just 18 years :-P

Man, I don't know why. Part of me thinks she's just trying to get back at me or something, she didn't even wait a week to get with him. I still would like to have faith that someone I considered a friend, even if they weren't a close one, wouldn't do something like that. If they genuinely liked your ex, then they should have some shred of respect and talk to you about it beforehand.
