Am so pumped for the quest. The D&D sounds nice, but I'm not too sure about its rewards... The new slayer rework will be nice, especially since I need to get my slayer lvl up soon... overall a decent month imo. :) Rivals when ROTM came out on my birthday :)

Thank you for all your answers. :) Could anyone point me to a decent all around set-up for doing DT? I know it got a lot easier since EOC and stuff but i just haven't had a chance to really go do all of the bosses that I still need to beat. Also I still wondered how long monkey knife fighters is/the xp/hr that they give. It's been a long time since I trained theiving.

Okay I had a few questions that I wanted to know... so Firstly: 1. About how long it will take me to get from 89-90 prayer using infernal ashes on my gilded altar. Also, i was wondering if it is worth it use just about all my cashpile to get 92 prayer for SS. 2. About how long it will take me to get to 89 craft from 78, and what methods would be the best for me? 3. How long at monkey knife fighters it would take me to get to 91 thieving for the elite diary in the desert. Also if you have any tips on beating some of the harder DT bosses like Nomad, Zenvivia, Avatar and stuff. Thanks :)

Yay! Thanks to everyone for their input, I eventually beat him just barely! :) Got my quest cape back and I'm so happy :) Now to wait for the grandmaster one coming out soon... However, i do have another question now. I want to raise my prayer level to get soul split asap so that I can do more bosses and such more effectively. How should I go about doing that? here are my stats: Any and all help is appreciated. If it helps i have access to just about anything except money, i only have about 7m of that currently. i have a rapier, maul, as well as full elite void, fsh, and high level armor for all types.

Any tips on things like inventory and setup for that? I've been trying to melee it but I'm willing to try really anything.

I'm having trouble with beating the boss on Brink of Extinction and I was wondering what people here had as setups/strategies/anything else that would be helpful for me to beat this boss. It's my last one to get back my quest cape so any and all advice is appreciated! :)

Or as another alternative to this you can use the monsters crush weakness and use the rune warhammer or whatever was mentioned in the guide Kaida linked. It's a good guide that I've found useful for when i was getting adapted back to EOC.

Does the do not ecto include if you've done the mort tasks as well? I mean rather than grinding a huge chunk of time away at the ecto, do it with your daily runs to make it worthwhile a bit more. Example: I go and get my bones turned into bonemeal, worship real fast, then repeat until my daily is up, then continue the rest of what I normally do buying things and such? Or is it still not even worth the effort then?

Since I'm not p2p I can't input really anything too terribly helpful, but barring any changes in the WFS drop table, you should profit pretty well enough doing WFS while training range.

As rare as it sounds, really just start killing easy bosses like the Giant Mole, then gradually move on to harder bosses. Once you get the hang of a boss then start messing around with your set-ups and try to optimize your kph to improve as much as possible for your style of play. Also soloing bosses is a lot harder and not as fun imo, friends make the game.

It just depends on what you're training really... However, the best combinations I've found using ranged for an example. I usually start out with the piercing shot, then use fragmentation shot, then kick, then back to piercing shot. If that doesn't kill them I repeat and also throw in a binding shot to stun them for longer so i can use more piercing shots. Timing the attacks with your auto attacks especially is useful as it's like having two attacks going. The reason I use this combination is because it allows me to take full use of my abilities because I always have my 3s recharge one available, and I can use it with my auto attack. Whenever I can though I also stun to add more damage to that, and the second option I use is comboing the DOT effect of frag shot with kick so they sometimes get 3x damage for moving a space. If you time these abilities right, and then also line up your auto-attacks with them it leads to some really great hits and fast kills. TL;DR: Use the 3s recharge ability often with auto attacks. combo DOT with a kick, and also stun as often as possible so that your 3s ability does more damage when it hits.

Just in case you're wondering exactly to what level you can get with your current charms, you can punch your xp and charms into the nifty calculator on my sig and it will help you out with that problem as well. :)

As an alternative method of making money and getting a feel for what you would like to do, try different things out. One option I found to really entertain me was to quest (my favorite thing to do) and also do herb farming at the same time. Now with the new update you could even add in POP, and do things like that. Just find out what you like to train best and do it honestly, the money will come along so long as you make sure you're not blowing it. Unless your one who enjoys powerleveling, then just do the most efficient money maker for you and power on with cash. :P

They nerfed higher foods healing more so that you would use more food that is appropriate for your level, i.e. just use monks until you get to be a higher level and the level differences for food starts to become too little to heal you.

Firstly, no, this forum is not dead, if you're ever not sure check the last time stamp on the post in any of the forum. And from what I know of dunging, that is still currently one of the best ways to do it.

He has 38 slayer according to his signature. I don't think he can kill nechs just yet. However, I would second Will's opinion. Working for the requirements to Smoking Kills as quests are ultimately the easiest way to get experience quickly and they open up many doors for training. Also if you plan on doing ANY long term slayer you will want to be able to block some tasks and get some of the other perks that come along with having the points. As for getting the reqs: Crafting isn't all that hard, you can do goldsmithing with gauntlets(if you have done the quest) Tiaras, or urns. All are decently fast options. The quests to do this aren't that hard to get done, you could probably do them in a couple hours if you work quickly with a guide. All in all there is no real reason why you shouldn't just do the quest as it benefits you in the long run and in the short run. You'll get spins for SOF, some exp, as well as a good amount of experience for a few of your skills.

You could, personally I think a bunch of us should just submit a bug report and then post that on the forums as well. But however, as of right now yes that is the standard course of action sadly. No use trying to get on atm though, servers are down as they implemented the pengy quest.... those sneaky pengys. :P

Just keep on hard refreshing the page and it will eventually go through, i've been having it stop like that for a while now and it gets rather annoying to try and get on sometimes. EDIT: didnt' look at OP time :P

I've had this problem recently as well, i just keep reloading the page until it goes through.... Takes FOREVER. I tried deleting my temp files and it seemed to help a bit, hopefully that's a fix.
