  1. Well, here they are: Elf Signature + Avatars Enlarged Signature (350% zoom -- large picture) Fish Signature + Avatar Enlarged Signature (350% zoom -- large picture) Pirate Signature + Avatar Enlarged Signature (200% zoom I think -- large picture) Holographic Signature + Avatar Enlarged Signature (350% zoom -- large picture) That's them all. One of them was made for a competition (the Elf one), the other three for three people. Please post comments and constructive criticism.
  2. You'll have to make, or use, a game engine. To be extendable you'll need it to be scripted, using Pawn, Lua, etc, and on top of that, you'll have to know how to draw graphics to the screen, using something like Allegro or SDL, on top of a decent understanding of a programming language that can be used with the mentioned libraries, such as C or C++. You'll also have to make the graphics yourself, or hire an artist, same goes for sound and the like. Or you could use a dumb-downed tool that teaches you nothing and costs money to make a game that will run slowly.
  3. only one flaw with this...runescape is no longer coded in java but a language that andrew (and as an extension jagex as a whole) created known as runescript. Towards the end of rs1 jagex was starting to push the limits of what the java language can and cannot do so they as you may recall, created an entire new game based on an entirely new design (not counting the fact that it did retain the original details of rs1). I do have to agree with you on some aspects though such as the fact that all computer based random functions are actually psuedo-random. Although I think jagex is bright enough to notice something like this that could be such a massive exploit...most likely it will generate a number at random not the same first number over and over. If this was true than it would be highly likely that the dragon chain would be no more expensive than the dragon legs, from all the people logging in to kill the kalaphite queen and the dustdevils before anybody else. RuneScript is just a scripting language. The interpreter would be written in Java.. So if Runescript calls a random number, the interpreter will use the random number function to retrieve the number.
  4. To a general store/etc, the most expensive item is a Crystal Bow Full/New; it alchs for 540,000 (it was a bug that you could alch it, you can't anymore) To players, it's a blue party hat.
  5. Do you even know how the "glitch" worked? No... didn't think so. The game "saves" the past X people which attacked you, X probably is about 5. So when you got attacked in mutli by lots of people, the list is constantly being changed, so if you attack back the chances of you skulling is pretty high. But Jagex fixed this, probably by Increasing the number of X. It wasn't even a glitch, just bad programming. How are you so sure it's programmed like that, you haven't seen the source. And I think you presume thats right because someone else said it on DI forums? Can't conclude things if you have no evidence whatsoever. You don't need the source of a program to figure out how it works. Look at WINE.
  6. Its a bug most likely.
  7. Yes, it does... And Juliet's home looks different (so does she and other NPCs in her home) AND the Church also looks different. And a few other little things...
  8. I've gotten it. You just talk to Shantay. He sometimes 'drops' it...
  9. Stider added ADS to the f2p worlds MAKEING it fair SO HA I wouldn't get so smug there, buddy That is talking about the game. The actual Java Applet. The creator of ... that program does not edit the RS Client. I don't use ... you know what client and actually don't like it, but it isn't illegal. Its just a browser with 'plugins'. If similiar plug-ins for Firefox existed, would be using Firefox illegal? No. Same goes for IE, opera, etc. :S
  10. Won't work. Most cheaters use a modded RS Client that stops the camera from moving. Leave RS alone for an hour and you'll see the camera does in fact move.
  11. Let me guess, your using Safari? When playing RuneScape you could use Cameo.
  12. You could say it still is. Not one game has really used its potential, and the best game on DS, Advance Wars doesn't make much use of its features. Metriod Prime: Hunters will use\uses it. The touchscreen is great for FPS. WarioWare uses it greatly for its minigames, so do the minigames in Super Mario 64 DS. I figure it'll be useful in Animal Crossing DS for typing messages. In Nintendogs it is also very useful
  13. The Nintendo DS' touchscreen was thought of to be just a novelty. Now look at it.
  14. If you had read anything I posted, you would know Game Devs love this new controller. I read most of what you posted, but Game Devs? What the hell are you on about? Game Devolopers. The people who make the games.
  15. If you had read anything I posted, you would know Game Devs love this new controller.
  16. You hold it just like a remote... It is controlled by moving it around...
  17. Video Games and the Controller (uses) Controller at a Glance Read it! Don't just look at the pictures!
  18. Meh, I was thinking of Windows XP for a moment. Post all the info the pops up when you get a BSOD. Like so: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_scree ... NT4.2F2000 Oh, and exactly what version of Windows 2000 is it? Just 2000 Pro?
  19. Shell extenstion app? Like StyleXP? Or Windowblinds? If its StyleXP, you should use a patched uxtheme.dll instead.
  20. Could you post what is exactly says? The thing under "Technical Info".
  21. Right click on "My Computer" -> System Properties -> Advanced -> Under Performance click settings. Scroll down and you'll see one labeled "Use Drops Shadows for Icon Labels on Desktop" de select it'll be like so:
  22. you could also use microsoft virtual pc (im getting plamed by mods) VirtualPC is like a stick compared to a great red. Install windows first then Ubuntu. Its better that way. If it doesn't work you can always reformat... Or format the partition Ubuntu is on and restore the thing that asks you what OS to boot... I forgot the name for some reason.
  23. Why do people go "omg, like nintendo didn't release their OMG LIEK specs!!11 they suck1!1" The console isn't going to be released till next year. Why would the release the specs now? MS's XBOX is going to be released now. People forget, the gameboy is Nintendo's, um, forgot the word. Also, their console (probably not games) made the most profit. $7B. They ARE not heading in the direction of SEGA.
  24. First, do you think Nintendo would tell IBM\ATi (who are also making the XBOX 360's processor and gfx card) to tone it down? Nintendo is pretty modest. Also, Nintendo could be playing us all for fools, goto Nintendoon.com. Guess who most likely registered it? Reggie. The person who did the conference. It has his name in a who is search. Also, the video has info that Nintedno hadn't disclosed prior to the launch AND the models\etc are far too good to be "faked". Thats just my opinion. I can't wait till E3 '06 or SpaceWorld...
  25. Phantom of the Opera made me sad... The Yarn Princess made me cry... (I went through something similiar to that...)
