Look at it like this: You can do MTK, get 2m gp in resources for 750k gp spent, and 50k of your resources is farmable seeds, which you then farm. You sell the remaining resources. Or you can buy 50k in farmable seeds, do MTK, get 2m gp in resources for 750k gp spent, and sell all of those resources, including 50k in farmable seeds. There's really no difference. Getting seeds from a particular place doesn't affect their GE price, and their GE price is what you are losing (or gaining) during farming.

You can kill them in Brimhaven Dungeon but you'll be limited in AoE abilities & cannon because of the dogs etc. In the Chaos Tunels, you can't cannon. The third spot, in the Waterfall Dungeon, has no distractions and allows cannons. It's the best place to kill fire giants.

Is Captain confirmed at 1200 port score? It's not at 1000.

Since you save your blues for 57 summ, most of your xp will be crims. You'll need about 550 crims to get your level, making a few pyrelords and switching to bloated leeches at level 49. If you have golds, save them for level 52 and make terrorbirds. For greens, I made ibises, but I don't know if those are worth it. The ratio of gold:green:crim is about 3:2:1, so you need about 3 golds or 2 greens for each crim you don't have.

There's nothing really wrong with this update, it's just insignificant. A grain of sand amongst grains of sand.

If you can ban a bot within 24 hours (running time), it's already a lot less attractive to bot for 'private', solo botters, because they'll go for higher levels which take much more time. 24h saved, compared to one 99, isn't so much, especially with the chance of losing your whole account. For gold farmer bots, you need to be a little quicker maybe to prevent low-level resource bots.

Completely agree with the above two, just note that adze mostly boosts overall xp gains by adding firemaking xp. Looking at your stats, I'd say that getting a 99 is going to be a lot of time spent and xp gained for nearly no benefit. You're better off getting 1600 or even 1700 total in the same amount of time. Of course, you may prefer one high stat. If I may recommend a 99: Summoning. Steel titan is amazing (more powerful than you are atm).

Quite a lot, with decent (2.5k non-speed focused) captains you can easily take it down to ~3h28.

@Donnie: I'm only correcting you on that one point, because it is ridiculous to put the responsibility for your own enjoyment with anyone but yourself (barring extreme circumstances like imprisonment). It is a given that we, as players, want to keep the game fun. Half the player base cheating makes the game less fun, to me and to a lot of others. That means that for Jagex, wanting to promote their game, can gain (money) by reducing the number of bots. I wouldn't phrase it like you did, because it suggests that you should primarily look into things that do not target botting, and I don't think that battle is lost.

That is just ridiculous. Jagex offers anyone (over 13) the opportunity to make an account, completely without obligation. It is Jagex' goal to make money, and in their interest to make the game fun (because people pay for fun games). However, if you accept that offer, it is your own responsibility, and Jagex is by no means required to do anything beyond what the law and the terms of service specify. Keeping yourself to the agreement you have made with Jagex when creating your account is your responsibility, just like it is Jagex' responsibility to keep themselves to the ToS. In short, if you don't like the game, then that's your problem.

So I'm almost at 8k cherrywood, on track to finish my allotment of voyages for the day, and then this two plate mission appears (5h30 or so). So I switch to Hook focus (need a little more slate for the next tier bar & lodgings, so might as well) and this 1 plate voyage shows up first thing :S. Funny thing is, speed was able to take it below 3h28 (to 3h01).

I hope these new weapons won't be tradeable or that they are the last tier of tradeable equipment. Like tier 11 in dungeoneering, it'd be cool to have the top tier untradeable. It's one of the few solid ways of rewarding skilling in combat situations. Since EoC, it's become nearly impossible to rush/overwhelm people in pvp, so in that sense the addition of another tier of weapons isn't such a big deal, even with no equivalent tier armour available. Magic still sucks for the most part (melee/ranged abilities hit a lot higher, magic needs to mess with autoattacks etc.), ability tiers aren't filled out yet, we still need a level 80 1h crush weapon and thrown weapon (both 1h and 2h), and there's no 1h arrow weapons afaik. To up the max tier of dual wield melee seems a bit premature.

The +1% seafaring ability (seafriend) didn't appear to work for me at all, so perhaps liability doesn't work either?

If you send the ship from the voyage screen, it'll give the correct warning (that your captain already has four traits and can't gain any more).

74% to bowl, have about 5k cherrywood in reserve (48k chimes), bought the lodgings upgrade. Tier 2 lodgings costs 3k slate 1k bamboo -.-. Going to hit 1k port score today, one story mission and some distance.

The best way to use a RoW is to equip it at the end of a kill, before the final blow. That way you get the benefit of a stat-boosting ring along with the improved drops from a RoW. If you're not switching, then RoW is mostly a cheap alternative to mid-level stat-boosting rings. I'd imagine imbued rings especially are better than RoW.
