If you also didn't want to risk a full grown bird you could bring a zamatrice pouch, god eggs aren't too rare if you to maples in MTK. Though that familiar doesn't last too long, so you'd have to brind multiple pouches, nulifying its usefulness. Did I just negate the purpose of my own post? :cry:

But against cave slimes at range lvl 77? I don't think she needs the extra accuracy or power to kill those :P , so because darts are so much faster I would recomend you stick with those (Maybe to a mix and make addy bolts for slayer and mith darts for cave slimes, I think that would work out well : ).

Well using the PP method where you only loot the golden box in every room and the urns in the last room (Check for snakes in the second to last), you can do 2 runs without banking/exchanging for coins at the agility pyramid (Do that : ).

It would be helpful if I knew your range so I get a sense of how often you'd hit :P . Darts and knifes are better at mosters with lower defense, and bolts at ones with higher def. I personally prefer bolts at anything over lvl 40, but if you want to try out any of the other 2 options you may find them useful.

If the question is then whether you should make bolts, arrows, knifes, or darts, I think it's pretty clear that bolts are definetly the way to go (Unless you're going to be training at yaks, then knifes or darts wouldn't be a bad option ;) ).

Must not froget the lvl 78 slayer monster coming out *ahem* soon :roll: , but then again not only would that be an obscenely good drop from such a low lvl monster but it goes against the design of the monster so far (More water-based, like a Mudkip =3)

Well idk, ive never had a pure, it shouldnt take you too long to just talk to him and try to see if you can start it -.- . If it fails, then do all the required quests.

Broads, they are less expensive, and a rune x-bow is better in most cases to a magic shortbow (And dark bows are NOT good for training). Especially if you get a drag task, because then you can wield an anti shield.

You need 53 thief at least to get the gilded cross from the bandit camp (The higher the better, because it will take a while at 53 ;) )

This ^, but it's better exp to check then loot. It just all depends if you're looking for speed or exp. But if you are going to do both, then I think all at once is faster, though I do one at a time anyways :-# .

When I went there 60-63 thief I just prayed and used dds spec + whip to get through the combat. Maybe 5-10 monks and a prayer book if you've completed the great brain robbery, and a couple of super anti's if not.

Well to start things off I was being sarcastic about the "stupid american thing." I never accused you or anyone else of believing that, and to be honest that last part was more self parody than any kind of argument. I do have a clearer understanding of what you are saying now, and that it was a temporary fix for the bug and that this isnt the way it should be but there are actions you should take while these kinks are being worked out. Forgive me for not understanding your full argument, it just wasn't totally clear to me that this was a temporary recomendation until change occurs rather than a mandate of how you should play the game from now on. But there are ways to keep you're net worth on the radar without obligating people to pvp, mainly investing in items being bought by 26ker's either through buying them or gathering them. Oh, and no problem on the advice, thats usually the forum where I lurk :ugeek: .

But it is not because they have a moral stance on the issue, it's because they don't PK. And I never stated the game wasn't centered around combat. I agree, he just said "other money making techniques." And every other combat-based method of making money including going to GWD is being outpaced by this new pking system. If this is the way you want to focus everything then you may as well just take out everything else in the game and just 26k yourself into eternity.
