  1. EP not exp  It is more common now to see player attack each other with bad weps than to see them striking or bolting each other.
  2. Dont just sell the bars for profit, or else you'll be smithing forever. This is how I got 65-69 smithing, its my fave way  . Also if you've done the varrock achievment diaries make sure to smith them in varrock ;) .
  3. They are pretty good, I trained there from 66-70 attack for a whip. took 2(3?) casual days because they arent aggressive and fairly spaced out. They can be crouded and they WILL be mind-nimbingly boring, but they can be used to train range on and are fairly fast exp.
  4. What about those of us who don't do it because as a form of gameplay it sucks? It just isn't fun (except for the insane rewards). Then I'd say that you're also missing out. Your given reason doesn't really matter, you're still being hurt unfortunately... I hate to say it but I'm nothing short of obligating everyone capable to do it. To semi-quote the recent tip.it times, dont force me to play the way you see as fun or "the true way." JaGeX shouldn't nerf the rest of the game so much that there is now only one effective way to make money, and that all other methods (Short of 91 rcing to even rival it) are now obselete. This is saying "the only way to make money, and have fun, is to do exactly what I say and never stop ." Shouldnt there be more that one way to play? Is that not the point of an RPG? To make a character into what you want and do what you want with it? To be a stupid american: You are encroaching upon my freedoms! :shame: .
  5. Because the only reason other raw materials are going up is because people are willing to pay more to get 99 buyable skills, and buying runite isnt the way to powerlevel smithing, even if you are extremely rich. I'm assuming that by "damaging someone else" you mean that EP should be built up through combat. But in it's current implementation killing other player lowers EP...So you're saying that the combat should build up EP and the actual death should make you lose it? Wouldnt that just encourage players with bronze daggers and full steel to endlessly whitle away at eachothers health and then kill eachother? Also if all it takes is to be damaged people will just stock up on improperly cooked karabwan. Either way nothing would really change much, just less killing and more damaging :| .
  6. And last time I checked they were bery difficult to buy on the ge, but it's been a while :? . Food and an anti shield will be more than enough, personally at those levels I ended up overeating even when I only picked up the hides and buried the bones.
  7. Thanks for the advice! A few questions about praying, or the lack therof: If I were to pray, will mage or range pray prevent the most damage? Are you sure that not praying will work? Because every guide I've read has that as an integral part of the trip. Taking into account that my mage lvl is much worse than my def, would mage pray be better even if it attacks with range more?
  8. I can't keep avoiding it, I have 189 waterfiends to slay and I have no idea how to go about it. With only 1mil spare cash I'm not really willing to buy Karil's, so will black d'hide work? I've heard that an ancient staff works well on them :| ? If not, how long should I borrow an ss or zammy spear for? Also I know that a bunyip is a must, and that swallow whole scrolls really help, how many pouches and scrolls will be needed for this task? Along with that, any ideas of how many pray pots and sharks, or if its easier whats a good ratio of ppots to sharks? Lastly, how many runs do you think this will take? Sorry for sounding so n00bish, I've read through several guides on this including Kent's guide on how to collect charms, but I still feel that I have no idea what I'm doing #-o .
  9. They drop charms :| , blue charms fairly often I may add. To address the second part, dusties arent too bad... Oh sweet, gonna hop over there when I get back to attack. Dust Devils though? Training on a lvl 93 npc doesn't seem like a good idea. I can see you're at 68 summoning, any other "okay" or "relatively good" npcs that drop good numbers of charms.. crimson preferred but green is okay too. Damn, I totally hijacked IeatWindex's topic.. :\ If by that you're asking how I got the charms for 68 summoning, you should also notice that I have 78 slayer  . Dusties are actually fairly weak, and with B2P tabs you can stay down there for a long, long, long time. Sorry for supporting the thread jacking :-# .

  11. Ghostly Warriors are a more obscure source of exp, here's a link if you're interested: viewtopic.php?f=180&t=757562
  12. Thats NOT safe. You will most likely run into the CE with this route. Remember to bring a diamond bracelet (enchanted of cause), saves you from teleblock by revs. Its the Wilderness, of course it isnt safe :wall: . Tbh last time I went to the rouges caste I ran right past the CE and it barely harmed me. Also, the bracelet of forthintry will stop any teleblocking, but in the wilderness that deep you will either have to use the ardy lever or the tower place stated above.
  13. You could always use the quest calc on tip.it to figure out if there is any other reason that you cannot start the quest, but if that doesnt work there is probably some minor bug.
  14. ^ Really with one mil you cant really get any other decent tanking melee armour that doesnt degrade (Because really the only stuff left after dragon is Bandos).
  15. You cannot have 2 open and operating rs windows open on the same computer, case closed.
  16. Qp cape, maybe train rcing or agility a bit (Always skills I could use a little work on :wall: ), and if you have nothing in game to do or anything to watch maybe just go for a quick walk (*gasp* physical activity! :o )
  17. Greatly Appreciated
  18. Well for lack of something better to do I have decided to get B2P, and I remember a good MTA guide somewhere on the forums. If anyone knows what I am talking about, or even if they know of A guide just post it. And before you flame me for being a lazy [cabbage], the seach button seems to be malfuntioning for me and I have been manually brousing through for about 45 mins now. Thanks in advance :
  19. In your case you want to "flick" on protect from magic when they attack, or a split second before and during the attack. I mean though, i flicked it on as soon as the missile hit me and i took regular damage, should i flick it on right before he casts the attack? Exactly :
  20. In your case you want to "flick" on protect from magic when they attack, or a split second before and during the attack.
  21. Maybe try getting a KQ or KBD head as a drop, maybe not the most challenging boss monsters but getting the heads will take a while... (Also, does anyone know if you need the construction level needed to mount it in order to get it as a drop?)
  22. You can trade in pouches that are approx 10-ish (don't quote me) Summoning levels lower than you are into Bogrog (or whatever he's called) in O'oglog (or whatever, again :P) south of Yanille. I'm level 44, would it be possible to trade in Macaw pouches for shards or whatever he provides? Nope, just keep making them until you can exchange them, this will net you a lot of shards for...more summoning training  .
