  1. Beer is for [kitties]. Real men drink lemonade. [bleep] now i'm thirsty Also trolololol...it said hard.
  2. Why do people constantly question others, and are as bad as the people they question because by saying that level 90-110 Dungeoneerers cannot give advice, they are acting in exactly the same way as the people that they condemn who think that level 60 Dungeoneerers cannot give advice, making them look like a hypocrite? And why does everyone always speak in rhetoric in this forum because they cannot seem to grasp the nuances of conversation? And why do people who have a grudge against a certain institution go out of their way to interject themselves into arguments that are really none of their issue, just because they have a personal vendetta? And why am I even still in this thread? 4 questions I always wanted to answer. 1) because nobody likes people looking down on them 2) ask yourself that, you're doing it right now. 3) that, or they just like being a smart[bleep], like me right now (I probably failed since I'm not talking/writing in my native language(+ i've had a few beers)) 4) You also like being a smart[bleep] Lol. I was going to say something, but you're not even worth my words.
  3. TY Jett  Luckily all 4 people had necks so this one was mine.
  4. I dont think anyone brought up joining DGS (apart from a little side note from Nifflin,) or DGS at all for that matter, apart from the disgruntled people who tried to use the fact that the people that were providing advice were DGS members as an insult. This thread was always just about OP getting 60 DG, and DGS cannot really help there.

Just take the high road, and don't even get baited. You should only be told off if you give wrong advice. I'd personally say to get 50 Dungeoneering through EXP rewards, and then solo to 60 Dungeoneering. That way you can get used to working with 2 binds and have a decent pool of floors to select from, which gives you experience fighting multiple styles of monsters in multiple themes.
  6. Just went to F2P high risk worlds and PKed in all this because I was bored. Had millions of people following me because I was risking a few mil and like 150k Dungeoneering tokens. Pro F2P Tribrid?
  7. Thankyou, kind stranger, for this stimulating and enlightening post on the mechanics of the Chaotic Longsword. You have convinced me completely to take it everywhere and use it for everything. If it were not for you, my Runescape experience would be a poorer one, and for this, I thank you.
  8. The front page is all updated. The goals are now current, I have new stupid content for you to laugh at, and it's all nice and streamlined to make it easier on your eyes. You're welcome.
  9. FFS. THIS IS EXACTLY THE TYPE OF SPAM MY BLOG IS MEANT TO AVOID! IF YOU DO NOT DESIST THEY WILL MOVE THIS THREAD TO THE MARKETPLACE! Gonna shrink this down into a sig. You now have a rival DGS. This town aint big enough for the 2 of us.
  10. EPIC NECRO! Day #233 ( Lotta [cabbage] has happened since I last updated this blog. (A good 3 months ago.) I have been doing a lot of crap at uni, apparently passing all my units for a change which is nice. I have been sweeping some dongeons (I'm 106 DG now, Hi,) and have been nexing for some income. Bank is at about 250m right now (thanks to some major staking wins and a nice pernix chaps split I got from Nexie), and I've got a whole list of plans for the next month while I am off uni and have minimal committments at work. I shall post this list now, and replicate it on my front page when I update it later. 1. 110+ Dungeoneering 2. Enough money from an Ely (flipping, merching and Nexing) 3. All skills 75+ Skill, including: - Runecrafting - Farming - Hunter - Mining - Agility - Thieving - Fishing 4. 99 Crafting 5. 99 Cooking 6. 99 Fletching 7. Bank Mahog Planks for 99 Con (for next BXPW) 8. All Hard Diaries Completed 9. Imbued Rings. So yeah, as far as RS goes, I have a packed schedule. As I said, I will do some maintenance on the front page a little bit later (as well as updating my signature to declare existence of this blog again,) I'm just a little nostalgia'd atm from reading the first posts of this blog. To think Jimi and Gwen were once noobs at Dungeoneering...Lol. Also, to Obt and all your other DGS cronies, LURED SONS. I will have more crazy tales of my escapades when I get some, but for now there is a warped row calling my name.
  11. I took a short video of this, I can make it into a gif if people want it. Sounds like a good idea for the weekly trivia although they don't seem to want to update that atm for some reason :P Yeah we've been kinda busy with other things lately. :( We're more than open to suggestions for the trivia. I've posted several suggestions on the forums of doom in the DGS section. Idk if any of them are good enough to be trivia, but worth a shot.
  12. Some people just feel that dying 5x a floor is not fun. They must be crazy. If you're dying consistently 5x a floor even with no plate, you should focus less on what you're binding and more on actually learning how to sidestep/kite/pray against the right things. I can't think of ANYONE who doesn't intentionally consistently average 5 deaths a floor in DGS (isn't a suicide keyer). At all Exaggeration is always bad.
  13. Jimi, that was a thing of beauty and you should be incredibly proud. I love you. No homo. And I don't see why these people who feel that defence > offence in Dungeoneering can be having more fun. To me it just seems like they want MORE xp from dying less, which means they can DG less and beat the grind faster. I don't get it.
  14. Either go into W6 and ONLY team with people who are in full penance and maxed roles, or, if you have the requirements, join a clan like BA Addicts (or another clan, this is the one place where the RSOF is actually quite useful,) and do it there.
  15. While I'm at it, OP, you should really sell that BGS. It's crashing ridiculously hard, the only one niché use it has is for Corp, which you won't be doing seriously in the near future (no offence,) and it would provide you with some money to start merchanting, or to buy crucial slayer gear like a berserker ring or a fury.
  16. I personally would hold off buying an aura unless you're ABSOLUTELY sure you will use it (I Nex a lot, so Sharpshooter was the obvious choice for me,) or some numbers have been crunched and tests have been done. The sale lasts for 2 weeks, so by that time there will be enough evidence to prove or disprove the effectiveness of each aura, and what their usages all are. It would also depend heavily on your style of playing. So just hold off for a while, or try to give us more information about what you like doing in RS, and we can tell you from the preliminary evidence what would be the best choice for you.
  17. No. Just no. Please, please, please, don't say things without backing it up with evidence. Analysis of turmoil boosts show that LRC have negligible (or absolutely no) defence, so ANY style will be effective on them. And a Godsword is just SO woeful that even IF they had some sort of inherent weakness to crush, it STILL wouldn't be the right thing to use. You'd think by the number of threads that we see of this EXACT question that you would have learned to not give wrong advice by now.
  18. D'oh, you're absolutely right. Changing it now. Ragers without scrolls are also good to have at Gulega if you're a few scrolls short and not everyone can use them since familiars do double damage. Although unless your DG has been really crappy on blue charms or there has been no time to mine prom/gorg, then there should be no excuse to not be able to make 5 ragers + 2 sets of scrolls relatively quickly in idle time.
  19. I just broke CCS for primal gauntlets. I've used the staff for 100-104 Dungeoneering, but I've found that more than half the time I'm on a team with someone else with one, and I've also found that they're usually better at using it than me. I'm not great with ring switching in particular, (but I have improved quite a bit,) however I'm most concerned about not being the only staff on the team (even though I usually make fire runes in idle time anyway, so that is not a problem for 90% of the dungeons I do.) Should I have broken it, or should I have just tried to continue with it? I mean, hopefully I'll get a BNeck or a Hex in the next few levels (I've seen enough damn gazers/edimmu anyway,) and I feel like I should give gaunts a shot - I don't know if this is the right attitude though. I know in particular that DGS needs more CCS's, but in the teams I usually go in, there is at least one already (as well as usually someone who makes an empowered fire staff as well). I will still continue to make fire runes in idle time though.
  20. My analysis on the current rewards. For general usage (slayer/bossing), yes, Reverence looks like to be the most useful, and it also saves you the MOST points by buying it on sale (4600 point saving is pretty decent.) Maybe Knock-out for slayer could be decent, but that'll require faaar more testing before any comment can be made. For skilling, I'd definitely consider the Call to Sea aura - if the boost turns out to be noticeable of course. This will require some testing though. The Sure Footed Aura, while it sounds fancy, is effectively useless, and all of the other auras are equally useless (5 minutes of 1/2 damage of poison? Really? What even were you thinking?) I personally went with Sharpshooter, but I Nex a lot, and while Reverence is very useful at Nex as well, I feel that Sharpshooter will be slightly more useful due to the increased frequencies of hits, as well as ruby bolt specs, and this will make the kill faster, less annoying, and everyone will lose less pray anyway. Jack of all Trades - this will be very interesting. I'd say if you're going to save your points for something, save them for this, as the fact that they've left it out of the sale shows you it must be pretty decent. Doesn't matter anyway, I'll still have both in 2 months regardless of the order I buy them in. Rest of the stuff is so crappy, the titles (except King and Wunderkind, which I admit would be quite awesome) are tacky and nearly every single person in Runescape will have Sir, the outfits, while some may think are nice, aren't really that great, and all of the best emotes (apart from catfight which I bought L) cannot be bought yet. In summary, if I was the average Scaper, I'd go with Reverence and then buy whatever you want with the other 100 Points.
