  1. I use npc contact to talk to duradel and get a new assignment, and to get to the ge i tele to the relekka slayer caves, and i use the fairy ring there to get to edgeville. It's really quick, but you need to have completed dream mentor, have 67 mage, have completed fairy tale part 2 up to the part with fairy rings and you need some slayer rings.
  2. The golden helmet in the between a rock quest weights more than the three gold bars used to make it...
  3. I use my blessed spirit shield during 90% of my slayer tasks, but i always use range. For rangers a blessed spirit shield is a really good shield, because it gives no negative range attack bonus and because it has no competition from rune defenders, because using a defender while ranging is useless. Also, most slayer monsters use a crush attack and a blessed spirit shield gives a nice +73 against crush. So for rangers it's a really good shield, but warriors can better use a dfs or a rune defender, depending on their slayer task.
  4. Amazing guide  The layout is clear and you give good information. I have only seen a few spelling mistakes but who cares about that. I think this guide should be posted in AOW.
  5. Why do you want an untrimmed summoning cape anyway? Getting a trimmed summoning cape is already a huge accomplishment. Anyway, you can convert pouches into scrolls all the way to 99, because that means you don't have to gather charms. Killing waterfiends is also an option. Lets say that you get 150 hp xp from every waterfiend you kill. They drop a crimson charm 80% of the time. At average, a crimson charm gives 380 summoning xp. 380*0.8=304. So for every waterfiend you kill you can expect 150 hp xp and 304 summoning xp. So waterfiends will be your best option if you want an untrimmed summoning cape.
  6. Questing and minigames are indeed a good idea if you are bored of skilling. Just do something different. Do some pvp, do some barrows, whatever.
  7. I always do the following when i have a spiritual warrior task: i bring range gear (with zamorak chaps/body/bracers, 2-3 bunyip pouches and i fight them close. When my health gets low i stand behind the rocks and attack them from there. They can't attack me and when my bunyip healed me enough i just kill them again without safespotting. If you want to melee wear strong melee armor, a zammy cape, a few bunyip pouches if you're 68 summoning, super set and 15 pieces of food. Also bring nature runes because they drop a lot of alchables. Just kill them inside the zamorak fortress. If you health gets too low you can kill saradomin spiritual warriors in the main area, but those have higher hp than the zammy ones.
  8. I have no calculations for you, but i'm sure that doing the 2 quests and getting full lumberjack takes more than 10 hours. And it saves only 180k experience or so on the road to 99 woodcutting. So if you want it only for 99 wc and not further it's not worth to get.

    OMFG Wild DOGS

The wilderniss spot is actually a great alternative if you don't like brimhaven or watchtower. Yesterday i went there for the first time for a greater demon task. It was great. A few tips/facts about greater demon slaying in deep wildy: -The fastest way to get there is the Ardougne lever, But I teleported to clan wars and I runned north, because I'm a ranger and I wanted to take as much food as possible. -If you got decent defence (75 or so) and you are meleeing you can best wear dragonhide armor to protect against the magic attacks of revenants. -Bring one antipoison in case a revenant poisons you. -A bunyip is very useful to bring if you have 68 summoning. If you are 52 you might also consider bringing a spirit terrorbird and some tireless run scrolls. The demons respawn far away from eachother so you'll be running quite a bit. -If a revenant attacks you you can do 2 things: you run away and if he doesn't attack you anymore you hop, or you can kill it. Revenants can deal a fair amount of damage so bring as much food as you can carry. -You can use a cannon, but i doubt it'll work. As already said, the spawns are far away from eachother so the cannon might not be able to reach more than 1 demon.
  10. Why shouldn't you have defence bonus? Just bring armor and equip it inside the temple. That way you don't have to pray. I recommend at least 60 agility to do the quest, but than you'll fall quite a few times anyway. 65+ would be best. Don't forget to bring a few summer pies; they heal you, boost agility and restore energy.
  11. At your level you could try to kill jogres for gold charms, i don't know if you're strong enough so just try and kill some. Cave crawlers are also good at your level; they are only level 23 but they still drop a gold charm fairly often.
  12. Well, they also drop rune longswords, mystic robe bottoms and adamant platebodies. I can make around 150k/hour there. But you're right, that's not really good money. For a slayer task however 150k/hour is pretty good.
  13. Absolutely. I can tank them with 81 def, range armor and without super def, so you should be absolutely fine. Have fun fighting them, they are good money
  14. Wow, nice suggestion! Very well thought out, 100% support. A few teleport locations for members: Burgh the rott Relekka Taverley dungeon
  15. Elves: bad drops, high defence. Nothing good. Cave horrors: bad drops, takes long to get to. Hellhounds: i hate clues and the gold charms are very unimportant at 89 summoning. Kalphites: bad xp, rubbish drops.
  16. You can best wear full green d'hide, because revenants attack with all 3 sides of the combat triangle, and green d'hide gives defence bonus against mage, range and melee. If you see a revenant run in the opposite direction it came from, and when you are out of its reach log out and hop worlds. For food you can best take around around 10 tunas, and drop them when you need the inventory space for runite ores. If you want to be safer, just load 28 swordfishes, the 7k money they cost is nothing compared to the 500k you'll get per load of runite ores. Good luck!
  17. Gargoyles are pretty easy to kill, their defence is not as high as it seems. Just bring good armor and a good weapon. A bunyip is very usefull. They drop granite mauls and rune full helms quite often, so you'll probably walk away 300k richer.
  18. The most things have been already said, cockroach soldiers are the best at your cb lvl. If it gets crowded just hop. Do Bork daily, the miniquest only takes 5 minutes and he gives enough charms for 6k xp. Don't summon your blue charms yet, but keep them on your bank untill you are summoning 60 or so.
  19. Maybe you could cast fire bolt? It's actually a really good way to raise mage. Here are some calculations: You have around 1.250.000xp, and for 99 you need 13.100.000xp. So you need roughly 11.850.000xp to get 99 mage. Four fire runes cost 36gp, and one chaos rune costs 102gp at the time of writing. So 1 cast of fire bolt costs 138gp. You got 27mil gp, so you can cast fire bolt around 195.500 times. If you wear chaos gauntlets your average hit will be 7,5. The base xp for fire bolt is 22,5. So 22.5+15=37.5; the average xp you will get per cast. 37.5*195.500=7.331.250. So if you spend 27mil on fire bolts you can expect roughly 7.3mil xp. And if you cast it during slayer tasks, you probably will make enough money to buy another 100k casts for the rest of the xp. It's a really quick way to train mage and it's less boring than alching. Good luck!
  20. Your sig says that you are cb 106, so i don't think waterfiends would be very fast for you. Try cockroach soldiers, they die fast and their drop rate of crimsons is around 35-40%. And their other drops are really good too.
  21. I'm 100% sure that broad bolts are as strong as addy bolts. Broad bolts work fine during fight caves, but you could bring some diamond enchanted bolts to kill jad and the 360s. And black dhide is a very good choice when doing fight caves, because it gives more melee def than karil and you don't need magic def anyway.
  22. Indeed, a long bone gives 1500 construction xp and 1k gp if you give it to Barlak. Every monster that drops big bones 100% of the times can drop a long bone. There is also a curved bone, which is dropped by 100% big bones dropping monsters too, but it's a bit rarer than a long bone. A curved bone gives 2.5k gp and 2250 construction xp if you give it to barlak.
  23. Well, i seem to be the third who agrees with your opinion about constructing. I agree that construction is a huge money drainer, training it is repetitive and boring and only a few aspects of the skill are useful. Ofcourse, i could not live witout my Canifs portal and the mounted glory is very useful, and with my house in Pollniveach i can get quickly to Sumona for slayer tasks. But aside from that and the altar, there is not much interesting to aim for. For those reasons, i don't like constructing, but i can imagine that a lot of players like it.
