May i please play "Runescape"
They are advertising the skill, as they did with construction, hunter and summoning. They are trying to wake interest in people. It will go away eventually, so no need for a rant really. Besides, They do not show it inside the game, so you only see the title for about 5 seconds.

I think the game is telling you to use range.

Runescape Types
Hmm... I would be vertical-liner with more than 2 words, sociopath with NEAR perfect grammar and spelling and sarcastic sense of humor and little bit of posessor, because I use "my" word as I would use it in real life. Im gonna use MY bike. MY computer is working perfectly. This is only meant to show accurately that it is yours, so people wont be confused. Now excuse me as I get my dragon pickaxe and wander into my mine, where noobs will not bother me. Hope I`ll see some intelligent people also. c ya.

Don't you think it's kinda lame and arrogant to have Private Chat set to 'Friends'?
What I was talking about was the comparison between RS and real life. I was saying that if you didn't want to be part of society, then your house is where you can go be alone. But if you want to do things in public, you have the responsibility of acknowledging the existence of others. I think that setting private to friends all the time is like ignoring people on the streets IRL. Its the virtual equivilant of someone approaching you and asking for directions, and then you just ignore what theyre saying and keep on walking. Except that there is another option on RS- public chat. Setting that to friends/off would be like ignoring people on the streets. Private chat really is more like a phone, in that it is (generally speaking; not always with phones but in most cases) a 1-on-1 conversation with nobody really listening in, unless they want to hear only one side of it. This. Not this. Public chat: "Can anyone tell me how to get to Lumbridge from here?" This is like me going into the streets and saying: "Where in the world is the closest toilet?" Private chat: "Hey, do YOU know how to get to Lumbridge?" This is like me, approaching someone to talk directly to them and say: "Dude, sorry, but do you know where I can find a toilet..." I think the first question would just result in everyone on the street looking at you like you are crazy or annoying. I think the second question is much more personal, and you get the feeling that the person has looked you over and decided that you would be a helpful person to ask. I find it annoying when people stand in a crowded area and just spam questions that they want answered in public chat. Or...even worse...the people who sit in a Clan Chat and are silent, except for when they just ask to the entire clan chat: "Where can I find a shovel?" Then the discussion in the CC is interrupted by 6 people that simultaneously reply. I like that feeling. In Runescape, it is my high level or nice items which tells people I would have knowledge they might desire. In real life, it is my clean clothes and friendly smile. The stranger approaches you, uses you for your information. And do you get anything in return? Not usually. Except for gratitude. I love gratitude. Public chat: Random guy comes up to mr and asks me a question. I answer Real life: Someone comes to me in streets and asks something. Private chat: Someone starts talking. I dont know him so I`ll just ignore it Real life: Someone calls you via phone to ask something. I dont regocnise the number so I just hang up.

Overpowered equipment
I am aware of this. But I'm really enjoying DIY. DPS? Well, it's nice that you're not calling me a noob for considering the whip excessively powerful. DPS = Damage per second.

13-May-2010 Fairy Tale Part 3 & DirectX Support and Graphics Options
My character seems to get stuck on obstacles now. For example, he runs straight to the rock and stops, and I have to manually click him around it. Anyone experiencing this?

Okay, I take my earlier statement back. Today, merchant clans started bombarding me with invites.

My private chat is set on "ON". Reason: nobody bothers me.

Dungeoneering
1. Dungeoneering is a complex and time consuming skill, yes. But it is also one of the few skills I enjoy training alot. And that is something to congratulate Jagex for. =D> 2. Prestige system makes sure that you`ll get more xp the further you go. Low level floors are easy so you`ll get much less. Besides, in lower floors, you`ll still easily get decent amount of xp. 3. Dungeoneering doesnt have nearly as many uses outside daemonheim, other than the rewards. But the rewards are something else. How many skills actually gives you these kinds of items? Besides, the items are extremely useful and there is no real reason not to get them. Also, I have trained few of my skills just to do quests, so there are others too that give no decent rewards (imo). 4. Man, you must be really slow if it takes over an hour for one floor. I could easily solo a dungeon in under half an hour, and that time is when I gather everything. 5. The hell is Jadaflex or Jagermiester?

RS is luck based
Been playing 6 years. I have only tried barrows 5 times. Got nothing. Best drop I have gotten ever was clue... which gave black full helm (g), 400k... and that was yesterday. Still I bought dragon pickaxe. How? By doing nothing else but herb runs, mtk and level 1 clues.

Dream Mentor
You need 85 combat to do it.

Dream Mentor
could i just borrow a whip from someone, so if i die, they just get it back instantly? no risk there, right? The whip will protect over everything else, even if you would have higher valued items. When skulled, it will return to the lender. But I can lend if you want. Did it as lvl 89. Gotta say that the first boss was really hard. But After that, it is easy. Just use the best items you can get.

12-Apr-2010 - Dungeoneering Skill!
You got a friend - or follower, either term suits me  - and I got a prom spear P++ and a mentor  Now, on topic: I have solo'd to 60 or so and only now, after finding a couple of great people *looking at you Den!* I have started to duo/team. I have been wondering for a long time which way was better xp - doing all the lower floors for the max amount of xp or just rushing them with say complexity 1? Also, which rewards are people going for and why? Which order shall you get them in, and why? I have personally bought a bonecrusher and gem bag for slaying, and now am on my way to getting an anti-poison totem. Good luck dungeoneering peeps. Sanafari. First and foremost, Scroll of life. No real reason not to get it (except the bug.) Then gembag for slayer. I have considered the prayer scrolls, but coal bag seems to be handy too. Oh, and arcane stream necklace. When I have teamed with some random people, the outcome has always been horrible. Everyone rushes to the boss and screams for help, when I am in the other side of the dungeon. Also, they hoard all of the good food, so how the hell am I gonna last more than 10 seconds againts mage boss? I need to finds some good players...

Mining for profit and xp
Hello Today I managed to gather enough money for a dragon pickaxe (Thanks mtk for clue  ), and decided to start some heavy mining training. Now, what I want to know is what is the best way to train mining that gives the best xp and money for lvl 66 mining? Also, training methods for future levels are welcome.

Some people... (Dungeoneering)
Mingames exist........... What about barbarian asault, vinesweeper, pest control? I find training dungeoneering fun. Who cares about the rewards? What's so great about a bonecrusher anyway? They`re activities, not minigames.
