i was wondering if fishing lobsters or harpooning stuff will be more efficient to get me from 60 - 62 fishing so i can do swan song and start to fish monkfish.

Can i admiral pie the fishing req for swan song? or do i need to have the 62 fish?

Unless you get stuck on a loop slayer doesn't get boring.... however if it does make sure you mix it up spend a few days killing things for fun like fire giants or green dragons.... you'll soon see how slayer makes your killing more constructive. but always make sure you take breaks from it : and aye cballs are perhaps the most profitable thing you can smith.

1. No i don't think there are any more..... however you seem to have found a combo that works for your method of training. However i would sincerely advise you do slayer even though you "suck" at level 58 in your opinion; just stick to it if you like killing stuff and you'll see your cb fly up and your cash pile too ;) through personal experience through slayer i have managed to get enough money for zerker ring, whip, fury, food, everything you could need...... trust me stick to it and it's worth it. 2. I have no idea about mouse keys; sorry. 3. Smithing can either produce a heavy loss or a minimal one: i have 4 methods that produce minimal loss/maybe profit. (i) Iron ores into bars with rings of forging then smith the iron bars into knives - cheaper than mith also many people use them more..... so if you're going to be using knives save yourself a whole lot of your cashpile and make these. otherwise last time i checked; you can profit from it by selling the knives. (ii) Cannonball - if you like AFK-able skills like wc, fishing etc then cannonballs are the thing for you. These make a great profit :P (iii) Superheating - not profitable but produces minimal loss even if you buy the ore, coal and nats. Last time i calced you'll make 20gp loss from mithril by doing this (make sure you have a fire staff) and again last time i calced you'll make 1gp loss per addy bar you make by doing this. (iv) Smelting - normally profits. All you need to do is want to smith alot..... back when i was f2p a few months ago i'd buy the ores and coal off ge at about 500 or so at a time and smith the mith bars in alkahrid (however seeing as you're memb stick to edge or port phas) and i made about 200gp per bar made (it funded my prayer addiction back then) Hope i helped a lil :thumbup:

1. Ok 2. Why ring of wealth? when i wore it for months when i first became a member and i never ever got a clue scroll..... ever since i've been wearing warriors/berzerker ring i've had more clues than i know what to do with :P 3. Hmmm..... so i guess chealder it is then.

I'm bored of having such a bad range level and although the skill makes me want to claw my eyes out i have come up with a theory that if i couple it with a skill i like a hell of alot then it might not be so bad. So I'll be doing slayer using ranged and i have a few questions: 1) How many bolts? I currently am waiting for 5K broad bolts to come through and then i might need monies for the 2K emerald (e) bolts (for iron/steel drag tasks) is this enough? or plenty? 2) set up: Archer Helm, Fury, Red Dhide, Snakeskin Boots, Spirit shield (normal not blessed too poor :( ), rune cbow, ava's device, and ring of life (too poor to afford archers ring >.>)..... is this ok for slayer? 3) Finally is there any particular slayer master i should use for rangeable tasks? I know duradel doesn't set anything in slayer caves it seems; which are perhaps the most rangeable monsters...... so keep to duradel or go to summona? Thats about it i think...... if there are anymore questions i'll be sure to ask you lot :thumbup:

if you have done summers end you could go to the tormented wraith..... plenty of safespots and you'll alch/pick up drops that will more than cover the cost of the black armour and throwing knives.

after doing summers end last night i fell in love with the spirit shield that i was given...... so i am now camping the tormented wraith and other things like green dragons to help me get the 3m for the elixar for the shield.... So after spending this time getting my shield to be better i was wondering.... what exactly can i use it on? I mean.... i'm a slayer.... rune defender is my shield of choice which could only ever be possibly replaced by a dragonfire shield..... so what can i use my spirit shield for?

any advice? I'm currently at the root cutting part and am finding it solid.... however 2 pyres down down 1 to go....

Forgot to say i spend 3.9m on d bones to get my prayer to 70...... therefore cannon = no no

I have sorta gone off slayer for a while because i did it for months and i got a daggonoth task so those 2 things turned me off it. So any hints for getting back into it and finishing my daggonoth task? or would A-Z's and green drags been a good balance of exp and money as i get 90 defence?

I was voicing my opinion about how [cabbage] you guys have made me feel about my level. :wall: and no i haven't - the point is that the high levels are angry there aren't any more higher level monsters other than dark beasts. :shame: and fine oh so great slayer person, enlighten me please as to how to train one of my favorite skills properly. :pray:

I have just read this entire thread because i'm bored in my lunch time and free period and i have to say i am utterly gobsmacked at how much you people have whined and whinged about this slayer monster! I have been training slayer since i became a member back in March time and i'm only level 71..... to me that was high. I mean if you saw someone with 75 construction would you say that's a low level? Or what about 70 prayer? No of course not because not many people have that level; whereas 80K odd people have 78 slayer - so get your thoughts in order. To me a new slayer monster is still an exciting prospect even though i've now had you lot belittling my slayer level. Sure us "low level" slayers have more monsters but to be honest but you "high level" slayers will still benifit from it getting 100+ per task off your slayer master regardless. So to say "it's pathetic because it's a monster with a low slayer level" is wrong! I am PROUD that's right PROUD of my level 71 slayer! To me it is HIGH! So please people stop being egotistic idiots and give praise to those people with the dedication to get their level that high, and jagex deserves some kudos for finally coming up with something new for us to kill! Right that's my [cabbage] and moan over. On another note even though it's a new slayer monster i am disappointed with the look of it..... it's just an anglerfish crossed with a frog.

Go for lobbies...... i do it at my level and it's much better than swordfish. however one thing that people are picking up on is if you do fly fishing at lummy or shilo, or barb fishing and you get it to 62, and then do swan song....... you'll be able to gain better exp and some good money with monkfish ;) just a thought.

Options for zammy item: Unholy symbol..... up to you; however you need holy at first to stop being piled by sara crew outside the zammy lake that you swim across, then you could switch to fury. Unholy book.... not a good idea as you want whip + defender Blessed D Hide..... Weak, no point unless you're ranging. Mage arena cape..... you don't have it, so don't break your back trying to get it. Zamorak Cloak...... hefty price of 900K odd but you'll earn it back from those tasks easy. Personally i go with the cloak, but it's your choice.

When i did this task not long ago i loved it. Basically all you need is: Slayer helm/Black mask Best armour eg Torags plate and legs Best gloves eg Barrow ones or Rune + Holy Symbol to begin with (so you don't get attacked by the sara things) Zammy item - i use the god cloak; but the cape from mage area will be good too Dragon Boots Whip Defender Your invent should have something like: slayer gem 300 alchs (fire staff and 300 nats if you want to save money) a prayer pot (just incase you attack spiritual mages or something silly like i do :? ) 1gp place holder monkfish for the rest.... you also need climbing boots to get there. (super sets are optional) When you get in the dungeon go to the zammy lake thing and swim across (draining your prayer to 0), pot up and head towards the boss doors. There will be a large number of warriors there...... pick up anything and everything they drop that can be alched for profit.... eg mith hatchet, mith mace, rune halberd, rune kiteshield etc...... they don't hit too bad..... also if you want you can take a fury with you and switch it with the sara symbol once in the zammy encampment. I'm going to assume you have the level for cosmics.... or even double cosmics. All you need to do is head to zanaris, get out pure ess and pouches, run to ring and type in edgeville code..... use abyss to craft cosmics exit the portal into zanaris.... run to bank and repeat.

gratz man...... i better be there when you get 99 : and by the looks of it so far you'll get 99 fish before i get 99 def or smith ;) so keep it up

A-Z's are very good exp. All you need to do is make sure you use bonuses - D Baxe spec, super restore then super attack. Void will probably be good, but so far i have found Slayer helm (got nothing better), salve (haven't got enchanted yet), torags top, prosy legs, zerker ring, d boots, whip + defender and the rune gloves very good : So hopefully you'll do better with void. They don't hit very much; but if it gets too much go for "super human strength" then the higher defence prayer and the double heal on HP points and you'll be fine.

Can i pot the agility? and how do i get kudos?

I've been hoping to check out these A-Z's that everyone uses for training so that i could perhaps camp there and get 90 something defence....... however i look at the quest to find out that i don't have the agility or mining levels to start the quest...... do i need them or is it like many quests i can start it and get to the essential part without having to have the levels?

1) green dragons in ct though the baby blacks might be a pain so then go for the ones in wildy.... however watch out for revenants. 2) Aviansies 3) Safe spotting blue dragons on ogre enclave 4) Get your slayer up and kill: Turoths, Abberant Spectres
