So every time I log in for < 1min it'll add up each time? That is the question in a nutshell. I was posting from my phone earlier, so I had issues, but I *know* lobby doesn't count, i said that before :wall: :wall: . The big thing is, will all the short, less the 1 min logins add up?

Yea, I knew lobby and world transfers, anytime not staring at your character won't count. I remember reading a post recently saying back on labor day xp weekend it didn't count, but I don't know the validity of it, our if jagex fixed it.

Hey I was just wondering if while doing the stew/logout/login trick to keep the level boost will use up the bonus xp timer? I've seen some general comments but nothing solid... I'm at work but will check back when I can. Thanks

I just followed the basic outline in the monster hunting guide here. But if you just need to finish the Fremmenik diary/tasks, just loot some of the bones on the ground around the ancient cavern. Yes it will raise the enraged spirit, but run from the one in the cave, and fight the one you raise when u make the pyre ship. A lot easier then killing lots of mithril dragons hoping for a drop. :thumbsup:

I don't group much in dg, only with my wife really, and when we're in the same room b/c talking out loud is easier to get what you want across. But message me in game and we can give it a try. I got to mid-50s in dg using tears/resource dungeons, but since the op said he uses f2p worlds then tears/penguins probably aren't a viable method.

Yeah I'd never heard of this trick, just some vague memories about high alch values being used :shock: The other thing is when i do go nekkid or 1-3 item to get the penguin and the pk'ers just kill me anyway, even after i say i got squat and you're just wasting both our time, etc... Oh well the democratic process does what it does, takes what *MOST* people want and to hell with everyone else's thoughts and opinions.... :twisted: #-o

Yeah... I was only combat 70 or so when PK'ing got taken out, and had only rarely gone to the wild. With the re-opening of the wild, I've gone for 3 penguins now, and to do the summer's end reward portals. I don't PK, I don't like pk, I was part of the ~6% to vote against the return of it, and sneak crap like this just reinforces the point of how much people suck :sad: If a mod sees this go ahead and lock b4 more people flame my anti-PK-ness...

Well I had just gotten the last penguin earlier tonight at the lava maze. Then as I was leaving and trying to get out by walking/home tele w/e, and got attacked by a pk'er. I had brought only 3 things: my SS, rune plate, and quest cape. After attacking me, the guy dropped a noted dplateskirt, and i wasn't sure what to make of it... (course i realize now :wall:) but i asked and amost just said meh and kept walking, but i ended up picking it up and keep tryin to leave but he ended up killing me. After i spawn i see its 3 skirts... and thats all i have :o. How did a noted item worth only 150kish outrank my SS? Is it the fact they were noted or what?

^ As far as i know this is true because on most laptops the graphics card/chipset is integrated into the motherboard, therefore cant replace/upgrade :blink: . Some of the newer, high-end gaming laptops I've seen do have a dedicated card, that *MIGHT* be replaceable. :thumbsup:

Back in the beginning of September I decided i wanted to level pray up for leeches/soul split to beat Nomad, and get my Quest cape back finally. My way from 71-92 took me about 6-8 weeks of herb farming, Slayer, and doing dailies like buying broad arrowheads/bolts, Geoffrey's flax, Cromperty's essence, Naff's bstaves, Seaweed and pineapples from Arhein and Del Monte. I used Grimy's spread sheets to pick which herbs to plant at a given time, (which are Ranarr, Toadflax, which is crashing atm :(, Avantoe, and Snapdragon, typically) just farm whatever you have the level for. Go to the house party world or even pm me in-game sometime and u can use my altar. You might also want to split up your grinding which frost bones and reg D bones. Everytime I'd would get 5Mil or so I would buy a set of bones, and keep 1.5mil or so for seeds and dailes or whatnot. Then I'd save up 600-1000 or so bones and offer them in sets to save time grinding later on. Other then doing something for money and leveling slowly over time, using effigies and penguin points or other bonus exp, there really aren't many other options save what you've already covered.

I know this is a really old topic, but i DID get not 1 but 2 raven's eggs from mtk a few weeks ago back to back, one one week then the other the next :D . So where ever that guide is is very very wrong :shame: The chances are very very low though, I've been doing mtk for over 18 months or so with only those 2 raven's eggs, but lots of god birds, over 50 total.

So they're like most other slayer monsters, (namely gargoyles and nechs) and relatively easy but need a stupid high slay lv to kill to justify the drops then?

k i don't have turm yet or extremes/OL but can piety till i get my last 80ish mil for 95 pray... anything else?

so after a few dedicated months of slaying i'm nearing my goal of 85 slayer and abby demons. What's the best set up for them? I'm assuming melee gear w/ yip in Kuradel's dungeon but any other tips for them?

I'm 26 and started playing when i was 20. While some of this tweens are just that-tweens, they don't know better. I like rs over pretty much every other game out right now. If you think I'm "too old to play Runescape" then too bad, there isn't an age limit to playing, just a demographic of those who do play.. Those of us outside the 12-15 range are just in the minority.

Personally i really, REALLY don't like RC, but I've done abyss and balloon laws, and i like balloon better. You just need a decent store of duel rings and regular logs in your bank and its not too bad, run wise. Props to you for being able to stand it, the only time i RC lately is goin for strange rocks or when I'm really low on my own stock of laws.

i voted 3 cause i don't have a 3&4 option on the poll, but i do 3&4 cause that's what monsters I'm normally killing in slayer. I don't care about efficiency or gp/hr like a lot of people do. I care about having fun and having that small chance of getting a good drop. Most of the clues I've done have been around 50k or so, but I've gotten a Sara kite, several Sara, Zam, and Guth pages, several heraldic kites and helms, an Arma cloak, and a Guth bow. Its entirely up to you if you do the clue or not, i personally will stop my task if I've been there awhile, my familiar is about to go, I'm outta pots, whatever, to do the clue so I have the chance to get another clue in the same task. I do that mainly because taking the time out to have a chance at these rare drops really is worth it in the long run.

For my Nech tasks I've just done standard melee in the slayer tower, w/ yip+ an extra pouch, super set (cause my hl is still too low for extremes), and 15ish sharks. That basic setup has let me last a whole task of 150+, and bouts till i got a clue and left to do that. Its all up to your preference.

I don't really use range that much anyway, i decided to sell anyway, and it sold for max >_< itll prolly keep going up for a bit longer but meh i feel ok with it. :wall: Thanks for the replies. =D>

Ok so i got an elite clue from a jungle strikewyrm last night, and got a guthix bow from it. My big quest is, should i sell it now or wait and see where it peaks at? I'm not one to gamble on items or merch, but i'd like to get my prayer to 92-95, farming to 91-93 or so, and herblore up to extremes as well so what should i do with the bow?

k I think I'll do that, I've been tryin to wait for zgs to rebound a little, i bought it at 22.5 mil and don't wanna lose too much on it :T

I do have a whip in my bank, i'm just not using it atm b/c i'm traning Str to 99 and controlled style is WAY to slow going. So out of ZGS/D scim/Leaf-bladed sword what'll be best for these guys for Str training?

alright thanks everyone, i'd love to get a berserker ring/fury, but i'm slowly getting bones to lv prayer atm. So those will be on the back burner for awhile. Are they weak to stab attacks? one of the posters above suggested leaf bladed sword and just wondering.
