moneymaking woes
Long answer [hide]1. Herb farming. If you don't have the farming level you can reach ~30-35 farming from quests alone. At that point spend the little bit of money to get to 38 farming and begin farming toadflax. Each run should net ~100 k profit (more if you utilize Juju potions/scroll of life from dungeoneering) and should be done every 2 hours. Unlocking the patch from My Arm's Big Adventure is highly suggested as it is always disease free. Consult Grimy's Spreadsheets for the most profitable herbs to farm... http://forum.tip.it/topic/254457-grimys-spreadsheets/ 2. Manage Thy Kingdom. Finish the quests to unlock this activity and consult... http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Miscellania ...for where to place your workers. Minimum profit per day is ~150 k for near zero effort. 3. Dailies. There are tons of shops which you can buy stock from and sell on the GE for profit, along with numerous other activities you can do to bring in a profit. Consult this guide for a complete list of things you have available. http://forums.zybez.net/topic/1421537-how-to-get-145m-profit-a-day-in-45-minutes/ or if you are a tip.it loyalist... http://forum.tip.it/topic/254632-daily-activities/ With all of the above you can count on minimum 1 mil per day depending on how many dailies you have unlocked and which herbs you farm etc. for about an hours worth of work a day. Stay consistent and your cash pile will grow. Lastly in between herb farming runs do whatever you want, its a game after all. This time can be used to make additional money.[/hide] For a goal of 50 mil from 30 you're looking at around 10 days of playing because realistically the above will make you around 1.5 mil and things as simple as mort myre fungi are 500 k an hour. Aviansies are good at 94 range. But if you consistently do the above it really doesn't matter what else you do to make money as in less than two weeks you'll have met your goal. And yes I say flip items as well. Many people say its not worth it at until having a greater amount of starting cash but I can still pull out 550 k profit every 4 hours off of 4 different items that I flip every day. Thats a free 1.65 mil I would not have had otherwise. Short answer Herb Farming, MTK, dailies, start flipping, DG while you flip and after your daily stuff is done in between herb farming runs to eventually unlock a rapier and frost dragons. Cheers!

Nomad...
Well I've failed four times now, and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. My setup is Void Set Rune Crossbow with ruby bolts and diamond bolts Archer Ring Ava's Accumulator Unholy book Amulet of Ranging Snakeskin boots Inv Brews to Restores 3:1 ratio, Kyatt with ambush scrolls, and whatever bolts I'm not currently wielding. using Tortoise until out of supplies stocked with brews and restores, again 3:1 ratio. I've gotten to his berserker phase once and died cuz I ran out of food. Got to where he healed himself to half and died cuz I let my hp get too low. I've tried the safespot from his 750 and multiphase and I've tried tanking them. I've noticed the special on my bolts is rarely activating...could I just be unlucky?

What to spend on?
I was planning on getting extremes originally by cleaning herbs to 82 so I would still have 30m+ to spend on extremes. After testing, the selling and buying prices weren't working very well so I realized I would need more cash and decided a few days ago I would wait. I already do farming trips and MTK (just reminded me I need to collect). Might look into the dailies. Thanks! Cleaning is where the scroll of cleansing comes in, you can afford to sell the unf pots for min and still proft because you make so many extra unf pots for the materials you use. http://forum.tip.it/topic/281344-paraphiliacs-quest-to-untrimmed-herblore-cape/page__p__4609638__hl__dirt__fromsearch__1#entry4609638 This Blog is made by a guy doing exactly that and he's made bank so far (almost 65 mil going from lvl 1 to 80 herblore). I looked at it and like the idea. My one question is would that extra time spent making unf pots be worth it? Depends on how much you value your time. Personally the idea of making a couple dozen mil getting to 85 herblore (no matter the actual gp/hr) is worth it as normally its the biggest money sink in the world. Plus my other goal of prayer is getting helped a long like crazy by doing so. Either way seeing as your a little strapped for cash and your worried about making it I would say do at least some of the levels herb cleaning so that you can make some money and reserve that money specifically for training herblore. ie clean herbs for half the exp and use the money you make from it to further by supplies to level further.

Fishing
Cavefish and Rocktails are worth it at their respective levels. Alright thanks!

Herblore Question
Was reading a blog on these forums and the guy is cleaning herbs then turning them into unf pots to sell for profit all the way to 99 herblore. Average increase seemed to be about 15% more potions. Aka 10 k herbs would translate into ~ 11.5 k unf pots. I would say just stew to extremes though from 85 and use the log out trick to maintain the bonus. Level to 88 off of extremes.

Prepare for Glory!
Well I'm finally back and on break from school which is awesome. Junior year in college is killing me. Been back for 2 weeks and just remembered about my blog! I've made about 20 mil since getting back and have finished out all the hard Ardy tasks (apparently they're no longer called diaries...). I also finished getting to 89 cooking which is enough to boost to 95 for the highest elite task req. Lastly, Merry Christmas! \:D/

Been gone for about 6 months - What do I need to catch up on?
 on getting your defender. Korasi's sword is the new stab weapon of choice for people without a chaotic rapier but still in possession of super antifires and a dragon defender. Also the Spec works in 2 ways. In multi combat all you need to know is that its cabbage. In single combat it hits 100% of the time (except on TD's protect mage prayer) and hits for 50%-150% of your max hit as a magical attack. It's basically a slightly worse whip that trains str and is dirt cheap. For DG don't stress about it. Chip away at it a day at a time as well as doing ToG and you'll get there gradually. Also be sure to unlock every resource dungeon as soon as you have the level for it. I casually went from 1 to 54 in like a week just doing a couple floors in between farming runs every day. Also welcome back! Cheers!

Fishing
Well I'm about to start on leveling fishing to 91 (going to use the admiral pie boost for the task that reqs 96) and I'm wondering the best way to do barbarian fishing. I've been reading about low alching the fish to keep it going indefinitely without interrupting the fishing process. At only ~200 k lost per hour or whatever it is money isn't an issue so is this the fastest way of going about it? Secondly what level should I move on to other things? Is it worth moving to cave fish at 85 or rocktails from 90-91 or should I just stay put? Thanks all in advance.

What to spend on?
Short answer. Herblore for extremes. Long answer. Herblore for extremes, turmoil, summoning, overloads. Not sure if you'd get there from 67 with only 34 mil so here's my response to most people on making additional cash for little to no effort. [hide]1. This time can be used to make additional money.[/hide] Recommended that you grab a scroll of cleansing for when you start leveling herblore as it helps cut down on costs by a significant amount. Also be sure to stew to extremes when you can and use the 1 minute log out trick to keep your boost for the duration of your training. Cheers!

Boosted levels
The timer on said boosts has a degrade time of 1 point per minute. However if you log out at 55 seconds and log back in the timer resets allowing you to maintain the boost indefinately. It's kind of a pain in the butt to do but if you finally got you +5 boost in herblore to make your extremes its worth doing so that you can avoid having to get more spices. Cheers! edit sir squab beat me to it. :-(

82-96 magic
Saw your edit on string jewelery, cost for that just in casts is ~15 mil. Not sure on exp/hr though.

82-96 magic
Plank Make (on mahogany) gp/exp -1.41 * 7.145.735 = ~10.1 mil. exp/hr for plank make maxes at 165 k/hr. which equates to ~43 hours of play time. Other methods you could use at the cost of more money. Hunter Kit will cost ~36 mil and save you about 5 hours. Not really worth it imo. Both of the Following Assume a Staff of Light and Tome of Frost Ice Burst at Ape Atoll will cost ~25 mil and will save you about 20 hours. Ice Burst at Rock Lobsters will cost ~ 31 mil and will cost you about 20 hours of game play however you will receive a lot of crimsons for summoning. Good luck on your goal. Cheers! note that all calculations are from Grimy's Spreadsheets. You can look at them here http://forum.tip.it/topic/254457-grimys-spreadsheets/ Money Making 1. Herb farming. I finally recovered my original account.
I've heard that the timer can get reset on a cycle from logins/logouts so I always recommend 2.5 just to be safe. If that's been updated though that's good to know!

Need Dungeoneering Help
Get used to clearing floors as fast as you can, never clear dead ends of monsters/kill anything you don't have to (in the case of having a ssh especially). Someone may correct me if I'm wrong but I've understood that its best to not go out of your way to make pots for skill doors you can't do. Also don't stop doing tears. However using peng points/lamps etc is more recommended for use in herblore/prayer as they are expensive to level while dg is free! Cheers!

Scroll of Cleansing or Scroll of Life?
I'm currently stockpiling herbs from MTK and farming in preparation for the next Double Exp weekend. Planning to continue stockpiling until I either.... a.) have enough for 99 herblore or b.) the double exp weekend hits. My question is will the scroll of life or the scroll of cleansing be more beneficial to me right off the bat. I'm planning on getting both eventually.

MTK Question
So I've read all the guides I can find on it, most of them recommend having enough money to last a week, but dont you have to raise your approval rating every day to keep the 100% resource (as opposed to 90% resources as it rounds down)? Or is it set so that as long as your raise your approval to 100% before you collect your resources you collect the full 100%?

Nomad
How viable is a setup of all brews/summoning pots (to restore the spec points) and just using a kyatt/scrolls to do all the work. Seems a lot less intensive then the other methods I've seen and I'm looking to finish this quest with the least amount of effort.

Herblore Habitat
For your first guide this is great. Only thing I would like to see is exp rates for hunter herblore and farming while doing this, possibly by adding a section for the best methods of just straight up training those skills respectively.
