Prepare for Glory!
Random Stuff [hide=September 20th 2010, proving super attacks are not worth using at Armoured Zombies]I'm currently training attack at armoured zombies till 90 so I can bind a prom 2h in dg when I start and just clocked the following exp rates. Gear Used Helm : Neitz Ammy : Salve (e) Cape : Ardy 2 Chest : BCP Legs : Torags Boots : Dragon Weapon : Whip Ring : Wealth (i know its a terrible ring for training, leave me be) Shield : Rune Defender Gloves : Barrows Test 1 Used Piety for prayer, bunyip for healing, and ee in emergencies. Only collected charms and high level herbs for drops Exp per bunyip (44 min) 48.4 k exp ==> 66 k exp / hr Test 2 Used Piety and the 2x healing rate for prayer, bunyip for healing, no ee cuz i never ran into emergencies in test one. Collected bloods, deaths, high level herbs, all planks, pure essence, and all charms. Super Str pots were used for this test. Exp per bunyip (44 min) 54.3 k exp ==> 74 k exp / hr Did not realize that super str pots added that much exp / hr so I will definitely be adding them to my regular training. Next test to come will be super str and super att. I'm assuming that super attacks won't make a huge difference as you are already so accurate with everything (piety and salve (e) with rune defender), but we'll see. Also I plan on testing combat potions, and zamorak brews with restore pots to not lose the def. Interesting stuff for me so far. Test 3 Ran with everything the same as test two except for super attacks were used and I only picked up charms and herbs worth more than 6 k each. Results? Exp per bunyip (44 min) 56700 exp on the dot ==> 77 K exp / hr Seeing as 3 k exp in an hour could easily be explained by the extra time I took in the previous test to pick up every drop I conclude that because you're already so accurate due to piety and salve (e) ammy that super attacks are not worth using. As such I am going to be resorting to using a dragon battle axe spec with restore pots for the remainder of my attack and defense training.[/hide]

Prepare for Glory!
Introduction Hello ladies, gentlemen, chimpanzee's being trained how to type for scientific research, and trolls! Welcome to my Blog, which none of you will ever want to read again due to the fact that I am not an exciting person nor am I good at writing to capture people's attention, but for what its worth I am glad that you're here and for some reason are still reading this terrible introduction. About Me Well my name is Jacob, and I live in the good ol' USA (sarcasm is heavily implied there about this country being good). I started out my runescape career back in the fall of 2003. I never played longer than 6 month spurts though before taking a break so realistically its probably been maybe 2.5 years of playing consistently. IRL I am a Pastoral Intern at Substance Church, and also attend college 16 credits a semester. I love rock climbing, and am pretty good at it so I spend at least 4 hours a week doing that. Now on to what this blog is about! [hide=Starting Stats][/hide] The Point I am first and foremost writing this blog about getting 85 dungeoneering. My other goals (which I will be achieving first) are unlocking overloads by cleaning herbs and making them into unf potions with a scroll of cleansing. The profit I make from selling the unf pots will go to 95 prayer for turmoil and soul split. After that I will transition the entire blog to focus on finishing every single ELITE Achievement Diary. As you can see from my sig, I do not near have all the stat reqs for doing that so the process will take some time. In the end though, it will be worth the skilling I think. Current bank worth ~45 mil/200 mil (for prayer) Goal List [hide=Dungeoneering] The plan is to level to 50 by christmas break and get our hoods. From there my friend and I who are both currently training our melee stats to 90 so we will have the same combat levels, are going to no life this skill untill we hit level 85, ideally in a weeks time. 2 Binds hurray! Chaotic Weapons for sale! ranger set?
Void range with deflector, arma chest, ranger boots, range ammy, accumulator, archers ring (i), and a rune cross bow/ chaotic if you feel like wasting your tokens since dragon crossbow when it comes out is going to be so much better.

Need some money making/MHing advice
Unfortunately just like in WoW....do your dailies, theres a guide in the general guide section of the AOW on them thats pretty good, easy 800 k in an hour or less that you can do every day, throw in herb runs ever 2 hours or so for another easy 500 k a day. Personally I slay arberrant specters with a macaw and throw in herb runs every couple of trips for more herbs, but I'm saving them all for the NEXT double exp weekend.

Blue Dragon Ranging Guide - For profit and XP
Decent Start, not alot of guides on ranging blue dragons out there for the most part. Several things to add however, 1. Void is the best range armour to use if you have it and are not on task. Not sure what level it becomes the best at, I used it starting at 80. 2. Add a note about prayers, myself at 75 prayer can use eagle eye and fill up my inv and a terror bird right about the time I hit 7-15 prayer points. 3. The route I used for said prayer method was bank at deamonheim (free tele's I'm cheap), tele to house to recharge prayer, exit my house as its in yanille, run to the dungeon and fill up summoning points along the way if I'm low. I averaged about 440 k/hr that way. 4. Compare and contrast the other areas for ranging blue dragons. I'm curious as to how good the new spot is in the resource dungeon. 5. Broad bolts are most definitely the most cost effective ammo to use.

Complete Slayer Guide
Axe Man Jacks may be more comprehensive in some area's but I will definitely be using this one instead. All the information is just as good if not better but its so so soooo much more organized and easy to locate what I'm looking for. Great job.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Quit thinking of efficiency in terms of black and white. I mean, "in theory" euthanizing old people would be efficient. In the same way that communism is efficient, *in theory*. sure, it would be efficient for the economy as a whole to kill all the old people, assuming you could kill them with 0 effort. but the old people would, obviously, resist. and presumably, the time and resources required to accurately figure out who is too old to be efficient, and to actually kill them, would just be absurd. Ultimately having a community that is just full of kind, smart people is the best solution, in the same way that capitalism is the most efficient form of economy. One's stable and easy to maintain, the other isnt. I figured since we were dealing with hypothetical situations it made sense to assume that everything would be efficient including the measuring of who was too old and killing them off. Oh well. Not sure where communism comes in to play, but it is late where I'm at and im sleepy so maybe ill get it tomorrow. China. On the contrary the world would be a terrible place. As soon as you were too old to be efficient a younger more efficient person would take your place and you my friend would be euthanized. Or to heck with you getting too old, you could just get a terminal disease, the result would be the same. And because none of my post was on topic you have my apologies. I was bored while eating breakfast and like to browse this thread and laugh at all the people still arguing that the CLS is better than the CR. The ONLY reason to buy a CLS is if you are basing your purchase 100% on looks, if you care even 1% about efficiency (which in my experience every rs player does, they just hate admitting that they're way of doing things is inefficient because they're also too full of pride to ever admit they're wrong.) then you should get a CR. Screw the rules I have money. Judging by your stats, long is better for you. Nice hopes and dreams. errhm...what hopes and dreams? You go ahead and get yourself a CR, you'll regret it with stats like that. Have fun hitting zeros. What do you assume I'll be using the CR for? Pretty sure with a whip hitting a zero was a rare occurance at armoured zombies and just about every slayer task I would get, which is what I would be using the CR for. Powertraining and slayer. Why would I waste my tokens on a CLS for it to be moderately better for a short period of time compared to the CR which will be better indefinitely once I get "high" stats?

Not sure, I use swiftkit and all my images are still saved so I'm gonna have to go through and reload them all on a different website because apparently the default ones they give you links for to use on forums disappear after a few days? Not fun for me. lol

How To Become A Master Thief: 1 - 99 Thieving Guide!
Yea, this guide needs an update. Alternate training methods are nice for people who hate blackjacking, also the guys you can blackjack in the thieves guild are slightly more annoying but still good exp. And yes the master farmer method from 90+ to 99 is the best way to profit (around 500-700 k per hour) for people who still want decent exp (around 70-100 k per hour) providing ardy cloak 3 and gloves of silence.

If no one complains about it, please don't 'fix' it
Coins aren't worth less. Why do people with no knowledge of economics make stupid comments like this. The only time a currency can decrease in price is in a fiat money system such as we have in the U.S. where 1 US dollar is supposed to be backed up by 1 dollar worth of gold, but instead we print more than one dollar for each dollar worth of gold causing it to lose value. In Runescape each gold piece holds its value independently from every other gold piece out there, you having more money doesn't make my money worth less. It may cause changes in prices of items but they are going to be strictly on a supply and demand curve (outside of price manipulation and JAGEX interference such as trade limits and the 5% plus or minus caps.). On a side note, stop complaining. The update isn't worth ranting about besides the fact that it was a waste of time. Not ONE of the people ranting would be ranting if they were one of the kids who had 1 k + boots stockpiled for fun. So a bunch of kids got an early christmas in runescape, get over it.

Pickpocketing Dwarf-traders
You do realize that with gloves of silence and ardy cape 3 you can get between 70-100 k exp per hour and between 500 k - 1 mil per hour stealing from the master farmer at 90+. Fill your inv with one of every seed that is worth more than 4 k and the rest something to take up space such as cakes. Useless seeds drop to the floor while the ones that make you rich you keep. Having 58 agility allows for quadruple pickpockets which on a snapdragon seed nets you about 300 k. Much better cash than dwarf traders and decent enough exp. Its reported to have successfully pickpocketed over 3000 times in a row at 95+ thieving.

[VIDEO] GuidesForScapers - 300k - 400k Per Hour Plus 20k - 30k Melee Experience
Please post a guide and not a vid. Or do both. Some people like vids, but others like me enjoy being able to skim through and find just the info that we need which is a pain in the butt to do with vids.

~*Medi's Blog*~ The life of a maxed F2Per. 120 Runecrafting, 1.6b XP - halfway to 200m all F2P!
Just had to say it, I saw your oldest stat pics and had a moment of nostalgia for the yellow prayer icon, which brought a balance of colors to the skills page. Every time I look at my skills page i am irritated by the new white one.

There are some things money can't buy...
Thanks man! You should try, you just gotta mix it up. I'm killing the dragons, then crafting the hides, then using the bones on the alter, then alching the hides, then going to train agility some more. It ends up not being boring cuz theres so much to do just from killing the dragons. I won't be on tomorrow cuz i put in 9 hours today and im a little burnt out. Got 81 agility today after void and then after a few hundred more laps...
