  1. Played Classic and made the switch to RS2 and the removal of old style pking, free trade, and the addition of the GE were the beginning of my favorite era of runescape. As long as theres still designated worlds for non-pvp I will be happy, let the pkers kill each other and get each others loot, I just want to play my game in peace free from pvp activities.
  2. Really? Really? I came so close to throwing up in my mouth after reading that. ...Why? I could have easily made 50mil in the time I spent from 1-85 dungeoneering with bad random teams, especially with all the ragequitters. 50m for 85 dungeoneering is an incredibly good deal. Are you telling me you don't think the best weapon in the game is worth 50m? Hell no. spending 50m on something you can get in less than 2 days is beyond comprehensible. >.> Idk how much 50m is worth to you but to me (and probably most other people), it's a heck of a lot of money. If you're so sick and tired of rage quitters, try world 148. make it so only 130+ cb and/or 90+ dg can recruit. It helps prevent bad teams or rage quitters but also setting up a permanent team you can completely trust isn't a bad idea too. You can get 85 dg in two days of casual play? I hardly ever play more than ~5 hours a week because of irl commitments but if I could pay people to run me through dungeons I would do it in a heart beat. I don't enjoy dg even with a prom 2h and a hood bound.
  3. If you hate the wildy like myself the werewolf really isn't that bad until 70. Also make sure you do the circus every week. You can do peng points if you want but I recommend saving those for herby or prayer. Also do any quests that reward exp for it. Anything to avoid running more laps on any of those courses.
  4. Well right now I've got about 1.1m since i sold a bunch of stuff i didn't need. Should I put that into MTK, or should i get training equipment? Even though I don't think I can get any good equipment with 1.1m. I am thinking maybe put 1m into MTK, and then woodcut magics or yews for money to get some decent training equipment and some herb seeds. Short answer is no. If you have 1.1 you don't want to invest into MTK yet. You should have enough cash to do dailies and afford herb seeds before you start MTK. Luckily this will only take a day if you follow this. [hide]1. Herb farming. If you don't have the farming level you can reach ~30-35 farming from quests alone. At that point spend the little bit of money to get to 38 farming and begin farming toadflax. This brings the total to 16.16 mil for that week alone. Stay consistent and once you find your niche in flipping the money will just happen and you wont have to worry about it. [/hide] After your first day of playing you should have made at least 2 mil. Invest 1.35 mil into MTK leaving you with 1.75 mil. Continue doing herb runs and dailies combined with any money maker you enjoy doing and you'll have a decent cash pile in no time.
  5. Gah, got it, sounds like I'll need a new plan...
  6. Yes, max combat, get turmoil, get overloads, get a chaotic rapier. With your stats and set up you will get crashed.

Otherwise with your combat stats you might consider cannoning black dragons in the evil chickens lair. Overall account improvement? get mining and dg up.
  9. what the deuce does super anti poison have to do with frost dragons?
  10. You should have suggested Verac's then. Prayer bonus > Defence bonus. You should be using piety/turmoil anyway. And strength bonus > prayer bonus. Almost all of the top ranked slayers use Bandos for that reason. That said, other things come before Bandos in terms of priority (like extremes/turm) Bandos is already going for 80/20 on W2, so I'd say it's a good idea to sell now since it will be 80% of its current price in a few days. And since you don't have extremes, I'd suggest training herblore until you can get them. New boss will inevitably raise the cost of prayer and herblore. I highly doubt a paltry +6 str bonus of bandos would make any significant difference... Fortunately your belief in the importance of strength bonus is not a prerequisite for it to be true. Prayer bonus is nice, but really the cost of prayer potions is negligible at almost any prayer bonus. Also prayer bonus has diminishing returns and anything over 25 is generally considered a waste. Bandos plus a soul wars cape a fury brings you up to 19 prayer bonus which is more than enough if you are really concerned that much about saving money on ppots. Str bonus has no diminishing returns and on any monster where accuracy isn't an issue is valued over anything else.
  11. The highest level salamander you can or falconry with bonecrusher. If you have the agility level butterflies become a good non profit method of training once you hit the appropriate level. However once you get to the level required for herblore habitat it's recommended that you hunt there as the exp is amazing and farming juju potions are going to be your best friend in increasing the profitability of farming herbs. Also the scentless potions make grenwall hunting very profitable at 90+ hunter (at 99 hunter I was averaging 1.2 mil per hour without the scentless potions and they almost double the capture rate from what I've seen reported). Good luck on your goals Cheers!

That more or less negates the speed of chinning, aviansies are both slow cash and slow exp. Not sure how you're killing them then, I averaged ~700 k per hour there. That's in addition to 50 k range exp.
  13. I could be wrong but I was under the impression that fury trumps d claws in the order of which gear to have first. Seeing as you also don't have 95 prayer yet I'm pretty confident that getting that trumps both. [hide]After watching these forums for almost a year and cringing at all of the terrible advice given to people looking for ways to make money I've put together a post that guarantees at least 1 mil a day for ~an hours worth work. 1. Herb farming. If you don't have the farming level you can reach ~30-35 farming from quests alone. At that point spend the little bit of money to get to 38 farming and begin farming toadflax. [/hide] That's my money making advice, if you choose to sell claws for fury you'd be left with ~19.2 mil at current prices. Doing the money making advice I inserted above will get you your claws back in less than a week. All that said turmoil and soul split will be much more useful than either of those in the long run. Cheers!

Thanks for the answers, probably going to opt for a mix of this and AZ's/aviansies to compensate for some of the cost.
  15. Easiest solution, take all the worlds that are designated pvp now and when the switch is made designate them as non-pvp worlds where no pvp happens anywhere. Then simply add lines of text to all the quests in the wildy so that if they quests are started on a pvp wildy world they are informed that there are worlds where they won't be hasseled by pkers. No need to move anything. About AZ's specifically, to prevent them being too crowded it would be very simple to add a different entrance that isn't in the wildy to those tunnels.

Seeing as chinning maxes at 340 k exp/hr (for the purpose of this post we will assume 300 k as I am not 99 range and am simply contemplating right now) how much does using the long range fuse cut into that number? If it only cut it down to 300 k /hr is the def exp half of that? If it is indeed half that the def exp is 150 k / hr. Would this be worth it if you are not 99 def and 99 range?
  17. Nomad's dead, finally. Seems a waste to spend all that time perfecting that strategy only to never have to fight him again...oh well!
  18. I did void + deflector (barrows gloves), glory ammy, dragon boots, berserker ring, and an ardy cape 3. Inv was 5 super restores for prayer with a house teletab (don't bother bringing this though, you can teleport to your grave from sir tiffy so just set your respawn point to fally.) a kyatt with 100 ambush scrolls, rocktails and a tortoise out filled with rocktails. Used protect melee and piety, switching to prot mage when picking up the defiliers, and the second my tort was out of food dismissed him for the kyatt which took down the last ~1/4 health very fast. I did die my first attempt because a youtube vid I had up suddenly blared really loud music which made me jump and alt tab to close it. Bad idea... <_< Good luck though.
  19. The irony! But yes edgeville is closer and you should have at least the level 2 armor which lets you smith faster which is huge in the long fun from 80-99.
  20. What most people do is put in ~ 1.35 mil which will last a week until it drops below 750 k. Then they go raise their approval back to max get the resources, deposit more money. Lather rinse repeat. If you do dailies though and are buying the feathers/picking up berries from the bush every day you should just chop a tree while you are there to get it back to 100% everyday.
  21. Otherwise you could get a scroll of cleansing and make money through cleaning herbs and making them into unf pots which you then sell. Seeing as every pot buys finished for less than its ingredients in my head (and I could be wrong) it makes more sense to level to ~80 that way and then spend the money you've made on the potions you need to make extreme's plus their secondaries. That way you could have a net gain of no money and end up at 85+ herblore.
  22. None of the courses are good until ape atoll at level 70. Do either wildy or werewolf (I did werewolf cuz I hate revs, just bring an ee or an eee and you should be ok for food depending on your agility level. Also reduce weight for the death slide). Make sure you do the circus every week and if you're in need of fishing levels do barbarian fishing as well. Cheers
  23. Found someone to trade suicides with me. Happy time!
  24. I'll try W144 to buy some wins, ive gotten 1079 by myself so hopefully 1250 won't take that much longer buying the wins.
  25. Anyone willing to help me get to rank 1250 for deflector as fast as possible? I will let you get all your ranks back on me after I buy the stupid thing.
