  1. Urns up your exp/hr by almost 20% so unless you're taking 10+ minutes to bank (at which point you have other issues) they are worth using.
  2. 1. Shilo or barbarian. 2. Red salamanders, penguins, or falconry if you have a bonecrusher. 3. ZMI or steam runes.
  3. Berserker is not worth using.
  4. Enaid is right, grenwalls arent worth looking at until at least 90+ with scentless pots and a fruitbat. Frosts are still over a mil an hour easily even with the bots so if you can do them you should. Otherwise unf pots with a scroll of cleansing is good money. Green drags in CT are still over 1 mil per hour, as is barrows. Merchanting is still great as well. I recommend slayer while farming torstol as long as you have farming jujus, doing your dailies before you get to slaying for the day. Plus in getting your jujus you'll get hunter levels to eventually do grenwalls and the herb seeds for scentless potions should you decide you want to do them at a later date.
  5. Farm herbs, invest into MTK, do your dailies. 20 mil from just those. Combine that with green dragons or making unf pots with a scroll of cleansing and you're at 32 mil in a week easily.
  6. Doing them once a day is avg. 250 k a day if you do snaps. If you do 6 runs a day you've just. Made 1.5 mil. Do them every 2 hours. For your abyssal demons task you've got it right, just prot melee and piety the whole task, bank the ashes since you're strapped for cash.
  7. Read his post, he gave the only other option for if you don't want to get 70 rc. 1. That cashpile could double just from doing dailies for a day, farm herbs for another 500 k+ (6 runs a day, 8 are possible), once you hit 2 mil invest into mtk. 2. Any ammo bind besides arrows once you have a hex, or a csb at 70 rc will make you less effective to the team, bind laws. 3. He/you should be doing herb runs inbetween dungeons for cash, no reason not to and you'll make a nice pile by the time you get to 85+. Frosts are not as good as they once were but are still consistently over 1.5 mil an hour. 4. How can you "not afford" to train rc? It makes money...

You should keep them all really, they tack on another 1 k farming experience to your herb run and its basically free herblore experience. Not all of the juju's are incredibly useful *looks at cooking juju potion* but at the least you get experience. The important seeds to get excited about are Ugene, used in Farming Juju's Samaden, used in Mining Juju's, and the God's favor potions which grant a 10% bonus to exp earned in HH while the dose is in effect. Zamorak Juju's are used to achieve the fastest hunter experience in game. Erzille, used in making the hunter potions you need to attract Draconic Jadinkos, which will be your fastest source of exp in game. And to a lesser extend Argway, used to make Scentless Juju's. These are useful to some degree in training at HH but they really have a niche use in grenwall hunting, where having smoked traps helps your capture rate significantly but is too inconvenient to do via normal means due to the already very click intensive nature of hunting them (especially with no bonecrusher). The others I personally would make for the free herblore exp and either save (I'm not pressed for bank space at all) or drop.
  9. The best strength experience weapons are Chaotic Rapier+ddef>Saradomin Sword>Korasi's+ddef>D Scim+ddef If virtually nothing that you will get as a slayer task has high enough defense to warrant the higher attack bonus of korasi+ddef at the loss of the str bonus of the saradomin sword. The few tasks that do have high defense should either be skipped, or stabbed (metal drags for example). The reason being is that with your full slayer helm (or a the least a black mask) and piety/turmoil you are already so accurate that the additional accuracy bonus does for all intents and purposes nothing at all.
  10. 2 more runs today, got another 82 herbs which turned into 95 unf potions. that plus my two seeds back makes 617 k profit. 1 mil total for the day. Also I got this...
  11. Logged in quick between classes, bought the last of my d bones needed for 95 prayer, did a farm run. 45 herbs 1 seed back = 350 k profit.
  12. UPDATE 81 prayer Also 78 farming Fitting that the herb run I leveled in farming consisted of this... [hide] Which turned into this... [hide][/hide][/hide]
  13. No worries.
  14. Thanks for the move I uninstalled the client, found where it installed to and deleted all folders associated with it, still nothing. Gonna just have to play on my labtop I guess...
  15. Downloaded the RS client and after getting sick of how often it crashes I would like to go back to playing from the main website. Everytime I click play now it says that it's detected that I've downloaded the client and gives me no way of playing from the website telling me to redownload the client to play. I've cleared my jagex_cache_32 folder etc and can't get it to work.
  16. really? Veteran Lander is 4 commendations a win. Pessimistically it takes roughly 5 seconds to kill each portal, the first shield down in 15 seconds, and subsequent potals down in intervals of 30 after that. That means that most time your game takes is 125 seconds. Add another 5 seconds for [cabbage]s and giggles for people getting back on the boat after the game is done. 130 seconds is 2.17 min. Meaning you will get 27 games in per hour. 27 games per hour is 108 commendations. Even if you lose two games and due to lag miss out on one more from getting back on the boat you're still looking at 90+ commendations an hour, which is more than competitive with conquest, and has the additional bonus of combat exp while fighing the mobs in game. I'd love to see your math for 98 commendations per hour at conquest.
  17. 1st herb run of the day looked so promising. Despite getting a random the second I drank a dose of my juju pot, the first three patches yeilded 39 snaps and a seed back. Then the second two patches were dead... #-o d bones have officially crashed to the point of 95 prayer. Hence my goal is now changed. While farming snapdragons/doing dailies and MTK for cash rebuilding I will be questing for the reqs for WGS and Temple of Sennesistnensinssnnisnen to get them done. WGS for the 400 k prayer exp that I will be using to save cash and Temple for curses...duh. Main post is edited to make that my number one goal, while cleaning herbs--->unf pots is going to be secondary while I offer up all dem bones.
  18. Dragon bones are crashing which means I am only 8 mil short of 95 prayer at current prices. I'm planning on waiting to see how low they crash. I'm hoping they will settle at around the price they were pre-free trade (4.5-5 k ea). Farmed a run with 40 herbs and one patch was dead. No seeds back though <_< The craziness of herb cleaning really starts on Monday so I'm gearing up by buying as many vials of water as I can, should be a fun goal to complete. edit cleaned 500 snaps for fun and made them into unf pots just now, only 100 k profit... but they're on the rise so I'm feeling confident about an increase in potential profits starting this week.
  19. 3 herb runs today, the first one was 59 herbs one seed back  the second one was 59 herbs no seeds back  the third was 27 herbs no seeds back.... <_< Either way they've brought me 162 unf pots from 145 herbs. Two seeds back is an extra 86 k profit. 15 seeds = -645 k 162 Unf pots = +1652 k 2 seeds back = +86 k Total profit for three herb runs = 1.09 mil Not bad!
  20. Edited the main post with a note about this not being an issue of fun vs efficiency. To help prove I am not against having fun that isn't efficient. my current goal is to get 85 herblore via cleaning snapdragons and making them into unf pots with my scroll of cleansing for profit in the process. I know that this isn't efficient in terms of exp/hr or gp/hr. I'm doing it because the personal satisfaction I get from accomplishing outlandish goals is "fun" for me. While doing this however I am looking to clean the most herbs/hr, so I seek to be efficient in that sense of the goal.
  21. It all depends on the question, if the question isn't specific it should be asked what he exactly wants. If I say I want to train mining in a different way then mining granite and want to store my ores and don't care about money and xp because I would be smithing armour/ammo from it and I want some fun ways/places to achieve that, then saying: Mine granite and buy your ores is trolling. In your case, the answers are all good (except for the player B saying that armoured zombies aren't fun without explaining why), but the question wasn't specific enough, he should state what he thinks is fun (like I want to collect good bones for prayer, I want to get much money out of it, I want to train slayer at the same time, I want the best xp rates possible etc.). I agree with your sentence "f it's not right for an efficient player to always assume that other players have fun playing efficiently, it's just as wrong for someone to assume that someone doesn't have fun playing efficiently." But that doesn't say that you should not give people the advice they want just because there are more efficient ways then the TS wants. @ tieszen I never asked for the best, same as other people do, but some people just can't understand that playing inefficient is fun too, the same as some players can't understand that efficient is fun too. Also "the best" is not directly "the best efficiently method" it could be "the best money making method" "the best afk-able method" or even "the best fun method" that is why you should not only say "I want the best method" but say something like "I want the best xp rates" or "I want the best money maker" of course you cannot say "I want the best fun method" so if you want fun ways you should explain what you think is fun or give examples of other methods you think are fun so people can give you something that works the same way as the other method. To your mining scenario I would respond "Go find a spot that you think is fun and train there, no one can tell you what you will find enjoyable". Then I would ask if he wanted a list of places he could easily mine and bank, and why he is intent on smelting/smithing his own ore that he mined. If he wants the list and is doing it for his own personal satisfaction (perhaps he's a DIY account) then I give him the list and pro's and cons of each spot (distance from the bank etc) but I can't tell him if they will be fun or not. If he wants the list and is doing it because he thinks its the best way to train smithing I will politely tell him that he could save lots of time by superheating or smelting (or both if he doesn't mind it) gold ore with gauntlets for faster smithing exp and bonus magic exp. There is no best fun method so that point is moot. And best efficient method takes into consideration all of those things you mentioned (gp/hr exp/hr afkability etc). The goal is to be efficient in what you want. Guaranteed you've never found a money making thread asking for combat ways to make money and heard "Go to AZ's cuz they're better melee exp/hr". edit For the last time We are not assuming that others will enjoy putting our advice into practice. We aren't assuming that they won't enjoy it either. We're assuming that when they ask for the best way of doing something that the response should be based on providing the individual with the highest cost benefit ratio with relation to what their goal is. If they want fun we can not help them outside of providing a list of all possible options. Unfortunately when said list is presented often times the poster then asks which is better...which leads us back to asking what their goal is aside from fun.
  22. *comment* ...I left a comment around here have you seen it recently? :shades:
  23. This sums up what I'm trying to portray fairly nicely. The discussions and math and spreadsheets have improved things and revealed methods of doing things in this game that maximize your cost:benefit ratio in whatever task you are under taking. For me personally I didn't enjoy getting the level reqs for completing the void questline (I think it was the smithing one that I really had to work on but I digress) but I loved doing the quest itself, and the rewards that came with it. By using the most efficient way of training smithing I managed to spend the least amount of time doing what I hated, and more time enjoying the rewards from the quest. So even when being efficient itself isn't "fun" the time you save by being efficient in many cases will allow you to do more things that are fun, and spend more time enjoying them.\ edit @above The irony is that most of the posters that are posting just to cause trouble (some of them even put the fact that they are a troll in their sig...) are the ones who don't care about the mathematics that you're willing to cut out. And would be content having people convinced that killing things without piety/turmoil will make you profit more because you save money on prayer potions. Just misread what you wrote, saw the bandwagon comment, ignore that
  24. <3 Hai. :D What made you choose cleaning Snapdragon for training herblore? Or are you planning on using it once you're done? :S Regardless' date=' good luck sir. [/quote'] *receives love* Are we best friends now? kthnx I'm cleaning snapdragons because I have a scroll of cleansing, which when turning them into unf pots makes a lot more money than other herbs. Snaps and their unf pots are about 10.5 k each atm, so every time my scroll of cleansing saves me a snap I've essentially made 10 k. The scroll activates about 11.5% of the time in my own personal tests so 144 k snapdragons should produce roughly 160.5 k unf pots for ~170 mil profit over the course of my endeavor. That and snapdragons and their unf pots are consistently about the same in price where as others (in my experience) can vary more, as well as yield less profit. That money in combination with the 138 mil I have right now (which will grow from dailies and mtk etc) will go to funding prayer and then anything else I might want. edit Update, first herb run of the day today got me 59 snapdragons and 1 seed back. New personal record of 22 herbs from a single patch
