  1. In my experience, its not very easy to get the kill with low stats. Most of the time you only have chance for one or two hits depending how many bots there are, so you need a good hit. Using whip + sup att/str i still dont outhit them too often. Unless you play at times where there are maybe 5 bots in the room. Ideally you'd have 2 bots at each dragon. Drink a dose of super att and super str at the bank. With 2 bots you only need to hit ~300 damage to get the kill, 385 guarantees it. As soon as you hit that move on to the next dragon. Pick up drops when you come back around and inbetween hits. I averaged 1.2 mil an hour there with elite void+ddef/korasi's and super antifires to cover fire protection. I did not use a BoB. Also bring 2 sharks just in case if you don't have soul split. Also pray piety/turmoil the whole time, house tab/recharge prayer/glory to edge for banking. Now, look at his stats. He will have almost none of that. Even with his stats using the 10% att/str prayers (not sure what levels the 15% prayers are at) and a super set with a brackish blade he would get most of the kills from the bots. He may have to bring a dose or two of prayer restore but its worth it. Also he'd need a dose of regular antifire and an antidragon shield. His first investments with his cash from dragons should be 70 prayer and a brackish blade if he doesn't have one. Farming herbs for a day should buy the latter.

  3. I'm glad enaid is here to take over the blog in light of obt not entertaining us at all lately...
  4. Using autohotkey to map everything I drag my finger across the keyboard and it deposits the inventory, withdraws 14 seconds and unf potions, closes the bank, and moves the mouse on top of the inventory. Dragging my finger across the next row of keys clicks the unf potions, clicks the second and jumps down to the make all button. Wash rinse repeat. Total banking time is often less than 2 seconds.
  5. You are looking at an investment of 10k hours. If you were to pick ANYTHING to invest that much time in why on earth would you chose runescape. you could become fluent in another lanugaue or get a masters degree. None of us that are close to max started out with that goal... and if i could have the 7k hours i have invested in runecape back i would do it in a new york minute. Dont be dumb like me... do something else. Chances are you are really young to... and beleve you me dupe as many chicks into the sack now while you are young... once you get to be my age the same tricks dont work. 10 k hours if you play inefficiently. Its more than likely half of that for people who know what they're doing.
  6. So what you're saying is mining them would effectively waste exp?
  7. /facepalm If you were to place the workers on the best profit you would get more herblore exp by buying the ingredients for cheapest gp/xp.
  8. Just from farming herbs (snaps or torstol when you get the level), MTK, and dailies you should be able to pull in an easy 15-25 mil a week. Throw in an hour or two of stealing green dragon kills in the CT and you're up to 30+. Just be consistent and you'll have it in a month or less.
  9. Living Rock Creatures. All of their drops are noted and you can mine minerals for more cash if you have the mining level.
  10. Extremes>bandos. However you can sell bandos once you get enough net worth for extremes. According to grimy's sheets you're looking at ~11-15 gp/exp depending on what potion you make, just do the math.
  11. Cannoning kalphites in the Do No Evil lair is ~66 blues and 8 crimsons and hour. Worth taking a look at them.
  12. Any of the chromatic dragons, greens being the best.
  13. Is this faster than Red Chins? Yes
  14. So helpful... Next time look it up before you answer. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Soul_Wars/Rewards#Charms Its worth noting that you don't get the bonus for 100 zeal, that's just for the exp rewards. Thanks for the link, I don't really get it still, I'm 103 combat, so how many gold charms would I get for 100 zeal? A gold charm package costs 4 zeal, you get 34 charms for that 4 zeal. Do the math.
  15. probably a typo, since the OP enquired about zs. Also, isn't tassets > bcp? Torso has the same strength bonus as bcp and defence bonus isn't necessary on the vast majority of tasks. Torso takes hours to get and that time can't be gained back again (aka you can't sell it if the cash would allow you to afford 95 prayer or extremes). If you already have a torso then its not worth getting a bcp besides bossing, otherwise you get more str bonus with a bcp per $ spent vs str bonus gained/$ with tassets. This is correct.
  16. Bad advice Drop rate on visages at frosts is 1/10000. You got insanely lucky. Frosts are so bot crowded they arent worth doing anymore.
  17. Rigour, cmaul, and the ccbow are all better uses of your tokens than a cks

  19. Weird well it surprises me then it cost me about 100k shards to get sum 86-88 with rock lobsters. All I bought was the shards. Fm'ing doesn't cost me a thing since I get the maples from MTK and I make profit selling the herbs, seeds (farm 99) & bird nests... So nope, firemaking doesn't cost a thing to me :) It costs you in time+the money that you could have made from seling the maples. No such thing as free. You'd be better off selling the maples and buying magic logs and using the time saved to make more money. Plus as stated you should be swapping pouches for shards or selling them on the ge to compensate (at different times one may be better than the other).
  20. I agree on that. But I personally like training rc once in a while. I hate summoning atm since it's a very expensive skill. I don't have trouble making money, but moneymaking is usually doing alot of stuff I'm maxed at or that is very boring due to its repetitive character. So I've been using all my penguin pts, random xp lamps etc on summoning lately. Saves me the efforts of doing the boring runs to get summon XP and I'm getting closer to pack yack without efforts. After that I'll probably stop using them on yack and focus on herblore. It's a personal choice what you use it on, but imo it's stupid to use it on any other skill than rc (for the boredom) or sum/herblore/pray for the cost of it... You're doing it wrong, summoning is only ~5-6 gp/xp which is only slightly more expensive than firemaking.
  21. ^ Getting a zgs isn't necessary ever.
