Saw a pretty funny visual glitch on Valparaiso, a building got levelled but the TOW launcher on top stayed floating in midair and could still be used, and I ended up blowing up a helicopter and 2 tanks with it. I saw some new stationary weapons have been added to the weapona/gadgets screen, but I've not seen them yet, are they only in onslaught mode or something?

I have a PS3 and WaW for PS3, but not the map packs. I tend not to play CoD online on PS3 anymore, but I still play some Resistance and I might buy Uncharted 2 soon seen as its platinum. I had the beta and thought it was great.

Lol why can you hit Zombies while you fly down it? I had a quick look at the last 2 on solo but I've only played on Verrukt online, looking forward to using this machine that soups up the guns.

Yeah it does seem very hard, I reckon we would have been fine, we had the power room open on one side and I had all the perks and an MG42 and 3 of us had Ray Guns, but then as I said some people got downed and the mystery box had gone so they didn't have guns lol. Does it just reappear randomly somewhere else on the map? Also any tactics for Sh No Numa/Der Reise?

Bought the WaW map pack bundle yesterday lol. Got to wave 14 on the Verruckt one, then got swamped because 2 guys went down in the previous round so only had pistols, and the mystery box had gone.

On PS3 you can actually change the sound of your voice higher or lower, so its possible to make it sound like you've just inhaled helium or something.

I think RE4 was perfectly fine replayability wise, you unlocked new guns and stuff for your second playthrough, and there was the whole mercenaries mode/playing as Ada to keep you occupied. Lol that was one of the best parts of the game, it chucked you in the [cabbage] right at the start of the game and all you had was your pistol and a shotgun off the wall.

I wonder if there'll ever be a CoD game where the front page of the leaderboards isn't full of guys with 2.1 billion kills, 1000 killstreaks and K/Ds of 0.

The PMOD selection systems seems about as clear as mud, so that should probably be adressed.

I used it for Slayer to safespot Black Demons and stuff. Can you hit people from the top of the wall in CWs?

Lol you're thinking that because you just came out of a good game. I can do great on MW2 most of the time, but the satisfaction in getting kills is just not there when the guns are so strong and my air support is getting half my kills. Lets not get into all that [cabbage] about Stingers and Blast Shield and how it "balances" things. Also, the maps are pretty damn bad. The games not as awful as many people make out but its got massive problems, and I don't see why I should have to deal with them when I could just play CoD4 and have a much better time. As for the map packs, I'd say they are worth it despite the price, I have the Stimulus and I don't regret buying it, and if I was still playing MW2 I would buy Resurgence, the Carnival maps looks great and Vacant and Strike where good CoD4 maps. TBH though I think the WaW map packs were best value for money, 3 maps and a Zombie map in each one, CoD4's had 4 but Killhouse is only playable in FFA and Creek is an annoying map at times. IW were pretty stupid not to just put 6 maps in each pack for MW2, then it would be 50% more for 50% more maps and they could have avoided all the nerdrage over it.

Barebones sounds like a step in the right direction, but I didn't really have a problem with the CoD4 killstreaks, just that if you died with a helicopter you could get another just from the first copter's kills. If I played barebones every time I start beasting I'll be thinking "if this was Ground War I'd have CG/AC-130 right now". Would have been nice if they'd made it 3-6-7, with UAV/PA/AH. One of the major problems in MW2 is that theres too much [cabbage] up at once, e.g there can be 2 Harriers, a Pave Low, and an AC-130 flying around, as well as any number of bad kids with care packages and sentry guns. On CoD4 its 1 copter at a time and 1 airstrike at a time.

This screams X-box. Or PS3, or PC, seen as all those games are all available on all 3. You fail.

Its not just OMA DC its the crap like Care Package Chopper Gunners/AC 130s, crazy overpowered assault rifles with no recoil or sway, lag, painkiller, bad maps, hackers, UMP etc

Dropshotting does allow you to survive a lot of the time. It only works on bad players, but then bad players make up the majority of CoD players, especially on MW2. Though it doesn't really work on MW2 because that kid's OMA DC tube will kill you regardless of whether or not you're lying down. I think I was averaging about 50-60 hours per prestige on MW2, and that was without really doing it efficiently, so I'd say prestige once because it seems to have taken you a while. You get all the prestige challenges and an extra class slot for the first one, so its the most 'bang for your buck' in terms of prestiging. Though if its your first CoD game I'd recommend trying CoD4 over MW2, its a ton better, the games really gone to hell over the last few months in terms of tubing and just the general BS of MW2.

I switched to the tactical button layout and it helps a lot, but I haven't got drop shotting down yet.

Hacks probably, he's probably got SP and CB at the same time and CB is taking up the third perk instead of the second.

There is pretty poor hit detection in this game compared to CoD4.

The THQ pack is pretty damn insane. The last 2 DoW expansions, DoW2 and the new expansion, all of Company of Heroes, plus a load of other games, for £26. I mean DoW2 and the expansion alone would be worth that price.

It's better to have it horizontal anyway for better ventilation.

Pretty nice deal. Eventually they might bring out a GOTY edition with the map packs with it, or at least they did for CoD4.
