Yeah, there's a huge difference between the chaotic melee weapons and previous melee weapons. Not so with the staff and crossbow. EDIT: Furthermore, why does melee always get a huge array of weaponry in comparison to mage and ranged? Why are there four melee barrows sets but only one each of mage and ranged? Why three chaotic weapons for melee? Ranged could have the slow, accurate, one-handed crossbow and a fast, two-handed shortbow. Magic could have the staff and some sort of two-handed orb that has negative accuracy but a HUGE damage modifier. I think Jagex could have been more creative. Hopefully they balance it out with batch 2. Jagex has kept a melee dominant game for so long players have gotten used to it being the supreme ruler of combat. I really wish the entire combat triangle were overhauled, as not 1 little update here, one little update there, but major changes to all three styles of combat that are necessary if this game is to even have a "combat triangle". Jagex has yet to get serious about it because the majority of players will just take a sword to something and be fine and dandy, those who wish to use any other styles of combat are just little voices in the distance. I personally think the chaotic crossbow should have its speed increased to that of a whip and the range increased to 13 squares. A shortbow would be nice as well. As for Magic I think there should be two types of weapons a wand with high magic attack and damage and a staff with moderate damage/accuracy and decent defensive stats.

I heard rumors that chaotic staff was gona be buffed to 25% damage boost. Thoughts? I heard rumors that bumping your own topics with borderline relevant videos and pie in the sky dreams gets you to be considered an attention seeker. Just my two cents. I said it had some chaotic staff clips and was just posting what I heard from a friend that in Batch 2 they would buff the chaotic staff and cbow. Seems like the outcome of whether magic is overpowered or not depends on if the player has mismics or not. Which pretty much ends up with Safe pvp = Magic is OP Dangerous pvp = Magic CAN be OP (if you risk more) Edit: nevermind, maybe this thread does have some discussion value, just not all these useless pk videos.

:roll: I hate Jagex just as much as the rest of you, but seriously, you have to realize that Jagex MADE Runescape and are the ones that keep it running. Yeah, they've made a bunch of stupid updates, but don't exaggerate. Jagex is even one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK. Climbing boots was just unforgivable though... Wasn't that in 2007 or something. Anyway just because a company is good to work for doesn't make them good. By the way I do not agree with this rant. Off topic: does anybody know what happened to the debate club. After I quit for a bit I came back and the debate club forum was gone? It was merged with General Discussion for some strange reason.

This point is false. You can melee Kree - just not with any chaotic weapon. -Ry Make a video please. Even if there is some secret weapon out there you can melee with, the simple fact you can't melee with a chaotic weapon makes none of them better, so my point would still stand Black Salamander.
