  1. Oh gosh-the real world's fetish for gold colour-how ugly. Y'know, it's stupid because it reflects real life. Personally I rather like the colours, but gold doesn't always look bad. For example, the imperial palace of Madrid is completely decked out with gold, marble, you name an expensive old thing and it's there. But it still looks amazing. Jagex are only trying to imitate that. Personally I think the mixture of style with functionality works well, but maybe for you it's tacky? Gee -- I dunno about you, but when Jagex refers to it as "pimping" your cannon, I tend to think that it lean towards "tacky" ... Prolly just me though. It wouldn't be that bad if they hadn't made cannons into giant bubbles... Jeez, to me it looks like something from Funorb not RuneScape.
  2. Ignore this, I read it wrong.
  3. The only problem you'll really have is selling your pots to buy more because everyone else training herblore will also be trying to sell their pots.
  4. :-| That's really not a good idea when making extreme potions. Can't make extremes till at least 85 Herb.

NO! For Strength training: Chaotic Rapier > Saradomin Sword > Korasis' Sword > Dragon Scimitar > Dragon Long.
  6. It'll be good to see if they can actually link the Dung requirement to the Pirate quest or if they've just put it in for the sake of having a quest with a Dung req.
  7. If you're just looking to finish the task then you'd be better off killing one of the undead warriors that hang around in the cavern. One of them, not sure which but I'll edit it in in a minute drops mangled bones 100% which is great if like I said you just want to finish the task. Edit. Confused barbarians are the ones you want to kill for the 100% mangled bones drop.
  8. Yes. Sc needles, brawlers and all other xp boosters are dissabled for the weekend.
  9. Guys, can you take it to the Nex thread please?
  10. Don't want to burst your bubble, but unless you are going to bury those bones they are pretty useless for the Bonus XP Weekend. POH Altaring does not stack with the bonus xp. Well that sucks... The DevBlog says normal training activities and people normally train Prayer by altaring bones... Ooh well, might as well see if they rise due to people not knowing this and I might be able to pull a decent profit.
  11. Thank God I bought those Dragon Bones before I went out earlier today, now I just have to wait a few weeks to get 92+ Prayer.
  12. Update: [quote name=23-Feb-2011 - You Brought Back the Wildy...Now Tag It!] As we mentioned in Friday’s news post, we have created some artwork to celebrate your efforts in bringing back the Wilderness. I’m pleased to announce that this is now available for you to view on Facebook. To those of you who took part in the vote: you have made RuneScape history, and we want you to be able to share this achievement with your friends. As mentioned on Friday, you are able to login to Facebook, connect to the app, search for yourself in the image, and ‘tag’ yourself, stating once and for all “I brought back the Wilderness”! To tag yourself in the image, you will need to enter your player name, but not your password. We would like to remind you that you should never enter your password or recovery-questions into ANY website, other than www.runescape.com, www.runescape.co.uk, www.jagex.com, www.waroflegends.com or www.funorb.com. 13. Just to add, Soul Wars bank is the best place for doing this as there are no randoms there (unless they've updated it recently) and it's a 1 click bank which shaves a little bit of time off banking.
  14. While you're at it, upgrade to w7.
  15. I'll play if it's host by crowns Then you think back to before Free Trade when you saw crowns advertising for manipulation clans and then remember they're just as bad as the rest of us...
  16. Damn the troll, I actually thought it was the BTS for February untill I saw Op's post date. :(

Looks nice, but I´ll stick with my DSlite as it hasn´t failed me yet.
  18. Okay Tif, after recently turning 18 I received money that I want to put towards a new Laptop. So far I've narrowed it down to 2 but I can't seem to decide between them. Acer Aspire 5742G Packard Bell TK85 P6100 I'm leaning towards the Packard Bell one but the i3 of the Acer is pulling me back as I don't know that much about processors and it has a higher clock speed than the other. But then the nVidia card has a lower core speed than the Ati card. So for general Laptop/Computer use and gaming (Halo 2, Dawn of War 1/2 and maybe newish games at mid settings) which do you think would be the best? Or can you find me something better with a 400-600 budget, that is available to buy in/delivers to Spain? Any help is appreciated and as I'm going to sleep now then have college in the morning, I'll reply to any questions in about 14hours time.
  19. More importantly, will we be able to go back to the good old days of sitting at the Varrock general store waiting to snipe a bargin?
  20. I'm 90 melee stats and on a crowded world I got 3 DDS specials in, it's not that hard to be honest. You don't even have to do any damage to get the drop so basically you just need to camp a spawn and have a quick reaction.
  21. We're still waiting on that TD video... Hurry up, I want to watch it. He posted 2 vids a few pages ago Been back 5 pages and I can't find them.
