I quit buying Vans about two years ago because they discontinued by color/style and replaced it with a shitty new color. Yesterday was actually the first day since then that I actually worn a pair of Vans, that I can remember.
  4. There is a guy at my gym that wears those shoes. All of the respect I had for the man went out the window as soon as I saw them.
  5. Not a bad looking shoe. I want a pair of those new Nike Flyknit but they're pretty pricy and hard to come by.

University of Washington is a [bleep] to get into, I remember the year I was applying to colleges the number of in-state acceptances dropped significantly in favor of out-of-state students. My only advice is to get your application off as soon as possible, for your best chance at getting a spot. WWU was going to be my fallback if I couldn't get into any of my other choices. I had a lot of friends end up going there, great school. Would have never gone to Washington State out of principal though.

Someone write up a script for a kids' movie. This could be a great mixture of Madagascar, The Fox & the Hound, and Lion King. Look for it in theaters coming soon.

I never heard of a problem of people steeling from other students. For the most part, college does a decent job of weeding out all the bad apples. Dorms are pretty safe too, almost prison like anymore when it comes to security.

I don't know if Amazon still does this, but anyone with a .edu email address can sign up for free Amazon Prime (free two-day shipping among other things) for a year. It's an awesome deal, especially for those of you who might not have been able to bring a car to college.

Yeah pretty much, stick around afterwards, introduce your self to everyone, start random small take like what are you studying, what dorm are you in, anything that'll start a conversation start. Shake hands, if you think things are going well ask for his/her phone number or give out yours. Your first couple weeks is like one giant game of speed dating. Classes are also a decent way to meet people too. I remember my first week of college was like one giant friend making orgy because of how easy it was to meet people sitting around you in your classes.
  12. Its kind of an odd system as each country is ranked based on gold medals, and ties are decided by the # of silvers, then bronze. I do think it is as fair as they could probably get it though, otherwise smaller counties wouldn't really have a strong reason to compete.
  13. Comedy? How'd you get that? Tonight I watched Margin Call, had a compelling story.

Wait let me get this right, you had a grilled cheese sandwich hamburger as in a meat patty stuffed between two grilled cheese sandwiches? Epic.
  15. Can you please use the default text color and stuff? I couldn't see your answers at all because of the text color. Anyway maybe I'll get around to actually answering these questions. Weird, I don't know how that happened but I fixed it. Would have never notice because it appeared normal with the regular IP.Board theme.

I have a second that I pull out when I'm working on a big project or something, or multitask while watching a film or something. My brother recently purchased like a 23in led monitor which he mounded to the wall to go with his MBA, I'm thinking about doing the same with my MBP. It's really nice and would be perfect for when I'm editing stuff. Three screens would be sweet but probably excessive unless you know your going to be utilizing them all frequently. I know I prefer to have semi clear desk, because it helps me be more productive, which is why I 2nd monitor isn't set up all the time unless I really need it.
  17. I don't understand it either, it's not particle, and they look silly. The basically resemble over-sized go-carts.
  18. Went and saw the new Bourne film, Bourne Legacy last night. I thought it was a horrible excuse for a Bourne film. It was like a awful fan fiction.
  19. Was doing some deadlifts today and nearly pulled my back as I was dropped my weights. I was pretty bummed, had to go easy on the rest of my workout, but at least I got the weekend to recover.

 Also, the new Tallest Man On Earth and Walk The Moon albums are decent. I didn't really care for the new Tallest Man on Earth CD at first, but it's grown on me.

We were required to get meal plans our freshmen year, which worked out great because you always knew you could get a good meal at any time of day. I couldn't imagine what I would have done if we had to cook all our meals, but we also didn't a proper kitchen to work with.
  23. How often do you usually shower? Usually twice a day. Once in the morning, and then after a workout. What sort of personal care products do you use (shampoos, conditioners, deodorants, colognes/perfumes, hair products, soaps/bodywash, toothpaste, aftershave, etc...)? I have two Shampoos, one for dandruff called like Clear Sport or something, then second is Bed Head moisturizing shampoo. I also have Bed Head moisturizing conditioner. My cologne is Iv Saint Laurent, I need to get a second more day-to-day cologne though. My hair paste stuff is called Sexy Hair or something, I haven't really check if that's the actual name, but it's what my old hair saloon sold, but it's almost out so I'll probably be switching here soon to what my new barbershop sells. My body was is Saint Ives. Toothpaste is Colgate. Deodorant is Old Spice sweat defense. Do you exercise regularly? If so, how long/often? I used to go to the gym 5 days a weeks, but I've cut back to 4 or 3 days depending on how busy I am. Days I don't go to the gym I usually try and do something else like a bike ride or something.
  24. Duff, trying getting some kinesiology tape, I haven't need to try it yet, but I hear it's great aid in helping your body heal. Other then that, try and keep as much weight as possible off your foot and maybe get some tiger balm too. I don't know how bad your foot is, but there is no reason that it shouldn't be able to heal on it's own. I tweaked a muscle in my knees running, so I stopped running on it for close to 6 months and switched my focus on non-impact activities like rowing machines/swimming, and now my knee is back to 100%.
